This book mostly focused on battles where the MC wins a war of attrition by reanimating the enemies soldiers as they fall and then steamrolling them. Rinse and repeat.
Other than that, there is a good bit of world building which helps to fill in some gaps.
Yet again I was very dissatisfied with the lack of character progression/evolution. No creativity or real thought put into it. I think I am done with this series.

Fun Necro/Healer/Champion Story
This awesome book about a dude going to another world starting as a old dude and becoming a awesome Necromancer King looking for a home for his followers was Fantastic. Even though it doesn’t end in a cliffhanger, it has so many threads to close. Can’t wait for more.

First book was very good, but I found it overly long. This one I enjoyed and didn't think it dragged, so a full 5 stars for this one. There is a LOT going on, but the focus on the main character keeps things on track, all third-person diversions being useful to the plot. I look forward to book 3.

Great followup story
Really enjoyed this sequel. I was a little disappointed it wasn't as long as the first....but this is about the standard length in this genre, so I just count the length of the first book as an added bonus. Enjoy seeing Damien grow and conquer and come into his own. Can't wait to see what happens next!

Book two
Mistakes: This was much better written then book one, though I still found a few mistakes.
Plot: Marching to war and a home.
Characters: Very interesting with a nice magic system.
8/10 I was disappointed that this book wasn't as long as book one.

An awesome sequel!
This was an awesome sequel and book one was huge, so that tells u a lot. Wish I could give it 5*'s too but I listened to it on audiobook! Great job btw with your narrator's!

This was entertaining, but I don't think it could stand up to book one.
The stakes are getting bigger, and enemies stronger. I will read the sequel, but there wasn't much for me to make note of.

enjoyable
Good story , lots of action and not to many stats . Enjoyable read , a few editing mistakes but they don’t detract from the story at all . I read the first two books far to quickly, I’m hoping the third is not to far away .

A great read with a growing MC

Loved it. Read it all the way through in a day. Great characters and growing from everyone. A few twists and more story yet to come but not left with a cliff hanger.

I like how cutesy this can be even with a necromancer as the main character. The close relationships are firming, but the allies surprised me.

Ended well
Little slow in the middle but it really picked up speed at the end. Fantastic epilogue, everyone is safe and we're taking a breath with a few hooks for the next book.
