ARC for honest review with no compensation
Supernova is book 3 in the Galaxy series by Desiree Holt. I thought this was a supernatural book and boy did I get it all wrong! I will definitely be getting the other books in this series! You can never judge a book by its cover!!
Rocket and Mallory met on a rescue mission years ago, left her leave but both have thoughts about what happened between them. Now 5 hrs later Rocket and Galaxy are contacted for another rescue mission in Mexico for none other than Mallory!
Suspense, cartel, drama, rescue, passion and so much more….

Mallory Kane is an author well known for risk taking to get the inside information and experience for her books and has to be rescued by the navy seals and meets John "Rocket"Hardin and while waiting for helo they share an explosive passion together and then when go separate ways now 5 years is past no longer in the navy Rocket and his partners of Galaxy are asked to go and save her again from a drug cartel whose taken over a government and wants to kill her but will they be able to save her in time? This book is filled with action packed and suspense and romance and chemistry and so much more. Desiree knocked it out of the ball park with this fantastic book.

This book is great! I have not yet read the first two books in the series but it did not seem to matter; I had no trouble following along with book three (and I will definitely be going back to read the first two!). Supernova jumps right into the action from the first page and it does not stop. The characters are fascinating, the storyline gripping, and the setting intense. The story moves at a fast pace with high adrenaline and constant danger as Rocket and his team at Galaxy go above and beyond to rescue Mallory from a harrowing situation with sparks flying between the two along the way.
In the beginning of the book Rocket and his SEAL team rescue Mallory, who at the time is a journalist, from the Taliban. They form an instant connection that sparks into more along the way of their escape. After they were safe, each goes their separate ways but always remember their time together; though it was definitely not the best of circumstances, they each made an impression on the other. Fast forward five years later, Rocket has left the SEALs and along with some buddies creates Galaxy, an elite private group that takes jobs no one else can handle, and Mallory has become a best-selling author writing about her experiences.
Out of the blue Rocket receives a call from a senator, Mallory’s sister, urgently asking for his help to rescue Mallory from yet another perilous situation involving the cartel in Santa Marita. Mallory seriously steps into a mess when her friend asks her to look into the current situation there involving assassinations, drugs, and more. Of course, she goes under a fake name and starts poking around, asking too many questions and drawing unwanted attention so now she’s in trouble and she has no way of escape. Enter Rocket and his team. The mission is loaded with obstacles and complications, interesting conversations, witty banter, tension, drama, sexy times, romance, and a sweet HEA. This story is an edge of your seat wild ride from start to finish.

Five years ago, John “Rocket” Hardin, a SEAL, saves Mallory Kane from terrorists. In doing so him and Mallory celebrated by copulating. Five years go by and Mallory again is in trouble, captured again by the egomaniac president and ruler of a drug cartel in Santa Marita. Mallory went there being asked by a friend to write a best-selling book on what is going on over there but has spent the time hiding out instead. Rocket is no longer a SEAL but part of a special mission group of ex-SEALS known as Galaxy. When Rocket is begged by Mallory’s sister to go and save her Rocket doesn’t hesitate at the chance and realizes that if he saves her then maybe he will finally be able to tell Mallory the truth that he is in love with her. It’s a race against time with the not jut the president but the whole entire country out looking for Mallory and Rocket and his group of special agents willing to save her.
What a breath-taking heart pounding action suspense novel teeming with scary parts, intense situation, amazing plot twists and great characters that pretty much jump off the pages! Ms. Desiree Holt knows how to write a fantastic story filled with larger-than-life characters and alpha male heroes that make you cheer and shout for them. The female leads are strong, independent women that aren’t scared of anything too. The writing flows smoothly despite everything happening even with an abrupt ending and definitely craving more. Then again this is a series so it is understandable why it ends the way it does. Rocket is just the best hero. He has the crusty harsh edges to him which make him believable but does have a soft spot which makes him totally swoon-worthy. Mallory the danger seeking heroine is pretty tough and at times does stupid things but of course who can blame her when faced with the hottest guy ever? This is a tremendous book wishing for more that is really hard to put down too!

Supernova is an action packed can't put down third book in author Desiree Holt's Galaxy series.
Five years ago John "Rocket" Hardin and his SEAL team rescued Mallory Kane from a terrorist situation in Afghanistan. Rocket's biggest regret was not following up after their return, because after some hot amazing hours with Mal had him dreaming of her. But duty came first. Now, she's in trouble again and though he is no longer a SEAL he still does the jobs no one else can handle. This is his chance to get Mal back and he takes it!
This couple have a history and the flames off them will burn you. Though the romance might seem a little bit on the quick side it had been five years in the making. Their first time together he had been one of the SEALs that rescued her (and chose to celebrate being alive with him) and the second meeting she was amazed that he had not forgotten her. They both had a number of dreams over the years of each other that would make anyone blush.
Supernova will have you spellbound from the first page. There is a lot of action, danger, drama, we get to see the bad guys planning and plotting and the good guys getting the upper hand - in any way they can. I cannot wait for more action packed, steamy reads by Ms. Holt.

This is the third book in this great series about a group of ex military men who run their security business from a plane. I hadn't read the two previous books and once I started this one I had to put it aside to grab the first two books so that tells how much it grabbed my attention

This book is book three of a series. I didn’t read the first two in this series but I am going to now! What a exciting story! This book has been illustrated with great dynamics of characters and wonderful wordsmith. Also, we get the bonus of lots of steam. Everything that I look for in a book was in here!
In this book Rocket is an ex Seal working with a group of former Seals doing things no one else will. They go to the truly bad places and rescue people. When Rocket gets a call from the sister of a woman he saved before he brings his friends together to help get the girl! This time around he is hoping he can keep her.
Mallory writes books about injustices in the world. She goes under cover all around the world and gets her story. All she wants to do is to help clean up the mess that she reveals in her books. Rocket rescues Mallory from the Taliban and then five years later she finds herself in trouble again and she can’t think of a better person to help get her out but Rocket but can her sister locate him in time to save her?
I highly recommend this book!

Supernova is the latest in Desiree Holt's Galaxy series. This story does not need to be read in chronological order. I enjoyed meeting Rocket and Mallory. I enjoyed seeing Mallory persever even while I wanted to shake her for getting herself into another sticky situation. Rocket hasn't forgotten Mallory but be would much rather gave her enter his life in a much safer manner. Can he pull another rabbit out of his hat or is Mallory doomed? I thoroughly enjoyed seeing how Ms. Holt would pull Mallory's rescue off. I loved seeing Mallory and Rocket rekindle what was even as danger surrounds them.
This is a well written and enjoyable story. I enjoyed the twists and turns Ms. Holt gave us even as Rocket and Mallory found their happily ever after.

An action packed and detailed storyline
I liked all the characters involved in this book, even though I didn’t always appreciate their motivations. I found Mallory;s reasons for needing rescuing inherently selfish - her need for a best seller causing people to put themselves in harms way felt wrong to me. Rocket was a strong alpha character, though again his reasons for leaving it 5 years despite apparently feeling so strongly came over as weak.
The story was action packed and very detail oriented. Much more focus was put on planning and the galaxy teams activities than I’ve seen in any other books of this genre and I did feel a little like the romance element was second place to this in a lot of the book.
Despite this it was a fun and suspenseful read and I would recommend

Five years is a long time to still feel a connection, but it takes another over the top rescue for Rocket to realize that Mallory is what he needs and he's going to get the girl. The hotness level is off the charts in this book, the dream sequences are wonderful and will make you wave a fan in front of your face to cool off. I especially like Henry, and not keeping track of what he does for her. Quite the intricate plan for an extraction, but when you are up against a corrupt leader and country, you need the Galaxy guys to come to your rescue. Thoroughly enjoyed this book.

We are back with the guys of Galaxy and John "Rocket" is who this story is about. Five years ago Rocket and his Seal team were sent to rescue Mallory but he's never gotten over her. But life got in the way and neither one contacted the other. Mallory's sister contacts Rocket because Mallory has gotten herself into trouble and is hiding out on a small island controlled by a drug lord. Galaxy takes the case and lets just say there's plenty of drama, suspense, action and hot chemistry between the Rocket and Mallory! Desiree has added another great book to the series.

If you enjoy suspenseful romance then you'll love this! Mallory and Rocket met 5 yrs ago and now her sister calls him for help to rescue her. While he doesn't hesitate to say yes, and neither do his partners, it's a rescue that will take planning and help. This story will keep you on the edge of your seat until the final page when you can finally let out that breath you were holding. And lets not forget the heat that the author does a great job telling, you'll definitely need a fan nearby.

Desiree Holt had created a sexy, suspenseful story with Supernova. I loved Mallory and Rocket. Mallory has a nose for stories in dangerous settings. Rocket saved her once. Can he save her again from an impossible situation? He and his team have a plan. Danger builds, and sparks fly as they get their second chance. I could not put this book down! Desiree Holt’s descriptive powers hooked me from the first steamy chapter.

My heart is so full after finishing Supernova! Seriously, I thought books one and two were amazing, but Desiree has far surpassed my expectations this time. The way she described each scene….. brilliant! So realistic that I felt like I was right there with Rocket and Mallory in the jungle. Can’t wait for the next book! Highly recommended

If you are looking for a space, futuristic adventure, this is not that. A group of friends who becomes a family from all time over the years from missions to adventures these bonds grow strong. So strong that when one needs help they all coming running. From a past connection to a second chance this storyvhas it all. Great pace, keeps you turning the pages to find out what happens next. A great new book for a great series.

Mallory needs rescuing again. Mallory’s sister, Senator Alicia Kane contacts Rocket to again rescue her. Rocket and his team rescue Mallory and the sparks are re-ignited between them. Great book I recommend it has, good characters, twists, turns and emotions.

Supernova by Desiree Holt is the third book in the Galaxy Series. Another fantastic book with action, suspense, and plenty of adventure. I was on the edge of my seat while reading this book. Mallory and Rocket reconnect after meeting five years before. There is definitely chemistry between these two characters. I like how Desiree Holt fully develops her characters. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.

This author has the unique knack of writing stories with power couples, and Rocket and Mallory fit that bill to a “T”. This book has it all: larger than life characters, an exciting and edge-of-your-seat storyline that could be ripped out of the headlines of today’s news, and blazing chemistry to make you turn up the AC. Fabulous read - and a must-buy series.

I enjoyed the characters in this book although I felt that the main supporting characters didn't have much personality shown. The storyline was great but some areas were a little bit drawn out and slowed it down. Lots of action and, in true Desiree Holt fashion, HOT 🔥🥵😍 sexy times. I would still recommend this book.

The third book in the Galaxy series a well written suspense story that kept me turning pages. Mallory Kane and John ‘Rocket’ Hardin’s second chance has drama, danger, twists, turns, villains, and romance. The story was well worth reading. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the first book in this series that I have read. I was not lost at all with it being the 3rd book. I loved the characters and felt the personal bond with them. This story kept you going the whole time and I was not disappointed. At times I skip a couple paragraphs but this book I definitely did not have to do that. Great book, must read!

Mallory and Rocket connect on a rescue mission on her in Afghanistan. 5 years later again needing to be rescued from some where else due to her bestseller books. Rocket and Mallory reconnect and the love fire is still going.

Wonderful
I love the Galaxy series and Mallory and Rocket’s story was great. Very suspenseful with them hiding and trying to find a way to get Mallory and the Galaxy group off a drug lord’s corrupt island. I received this arc for an honest opinion.

I liked this book. The story was beautifully written and flowed beautifully. The characters were well defined within the story and they had such great chemistry. I loved the ending. If you like the works of this wonderful author, then this book is must-read.

Rocket and Mallory have a history going back 5 years, when he was a seal and his team rescued her, fast forward 5 years and Mallory needs rescuing again! take a trip to nowhere with the amazing team from Galaxy- Supernova is a fast paced action packed suspenseful 5 star read!

Good sex is an important part of a good relationship--but it can't be the only thing. Speaking of sex, there are a few very hot scenes, despite--or maybe because of--all of the dangerous situations they get into.

An exciting second chance for Rocket & Mallory . Galaxy and company saves her, her friends, and their country in a round about. So enjoyed reading another Galaxy series. Can't wait for the next. Thanks Desiree.
