People have an innate desire to belong or fit in morphing themselves into groups. More than appearance. It’s demeanor, mannerisms, attitude, and language patterns all subconsciously manipulated by the company kept. Katherine made all those choices consciously. Contact lenses, makeup, hair coloring, and style were only the beginning. When she created the persona for this project, she knew it was going to be a challenge. Tight groups always are. It didn’t take her long to be accepted and to become a vital part of the group, maybe that should have been the first clue that everything was not as it seemed.

Identity is an exciting page turner with lots of twists and turns that I couldn’t put down! Loved reading about each character’s plot and how they intertwined.

This was a very enjoyable book from cover to cover. I usually do not read suspense novels, but this one had me hooked. It had elements of 50 Shades of Grey suspense but without all the sex (which trust me still made the book very entertaining). It also reminded me of Edgar Allen Poe's The Telltale Heart at times. Everyone is playing a part and making up a version of what they want their identity to be even in real life which made it so relatable. And the ending...I want more and I want it now, but I will patiently wait until the sequel. I highly recommend this to all readers.

This was a book that I picked up and put down many times. There was one dinner party scene that peaked my interest, and I was hooked from that moment on. This book keeps you guessing, and there's a shocking ending.
