Playing house in the mountains was supposed to be temporary, but a woman would have to be made of stone to resist the most eligible bachelor in Pine Ridge and all his small-town charm....

Denny Torres needs a break. After a series of embarrassments on and off the field, the Adirondacks provide the perfect hideout for his new, quiet, post-football life. The fresh mountain air is a welcome balm for his soul, but what's even more soothing? The sexy, sweet touch of fellow Pine Ridge newcomer Bethany Jones. If only she planned to stay....

Bee does not have time for a hunky former athlete--no matter how good he looks shirtless. Her artistic ambitions are in ruins, her brother is a disaster, and while Pine Ridge has its charms, the small town is nothing more than a pit stop on her way to getting back on track. Bee's just going to ignore the fact that when Denny offers her the chance to channel her creative energy into redesigning his house, she finds herself building the home--and the life--of her dreams.

With their time together coming to an end, Denny will have to move quickly to prove he can be the man Bee needs. Who better than a defensive back to knock down those walls?

Bold Love by Lauren Accardo is the third book in her Forever Adirondacks Series, but can easily be read as a stand alone. This book has everything, a gorgeous small town, a handsome ex NFL football player, and a home decor designer! The book is fun, emotional and sexy.

Bethany Jones, or Bee as everyone calls her, decides to visit her friend Syndey in the Ardirondrac town of Pine Ridge after feeling burnt out in her busy job at a New York City nightclub. While in Pine Ridge for the weekend, she meets handsome ex-NFL footbal star Denny Torres. A week later, Denny calls her and proposes a business deal. Bee can decorate his home so that he can impress his parents. Bee has wanted to go to design school in London, but can’t afford the steep tuition and living expenses, but, a deal to decorate Denny’s home can provide the funds she needs to go to her dream school in London. But, when the deal includes her living in his guest house, the magic of Pine Ridge and Denny has Bee re thinking her plans.

I sure enjoyed Bold Love. The romance between Denny and Bree is just so realistic and heartwarming. They both have baggage, and neither are interested in a relationship, but the attraction is so real, that they can’t resist each other. What is so sweet is how they both help each other discover and heal their past issues. I found the book easy to read with a fast pace and just flew through the pages.

I recommend this book to anyone who loves romance. I received a complimentary copy of this book. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

This was such a soft, romantic, character-driven story. Once again, I'm mentally packing my bags and moving to Pine Ridge. This small-town setting is so warm and cozy!

Bee is accustomed to city life, working as an assistant manager and event host for a nightclub in New York City. Despite having misconceptions about small towns, the opportunity to help Denny, a former NFL athlete, decorate his home leads Bee to discover the charm Pine Ridge has to offer.

Helping people to a fault—particularly her brother—I loved the slow transition of Bee putting herself first. The romance built with Denny was incredibly sweet, together sharing a bond over family woes. And Denny was the perfect stubborn hero, knowing exactly what he wants. The passion between them was on fire! I really enjoyed the addition of an athlete giving up their career for reasons other than an injury, too.

I received a copy from the publisher in exchange for review.

The Forever Adirondack series comes to a satisfying end in the third installment, Bold Love. I’ve become a devoted fan of Lauren Accardo’s smart, thoughtful, and super romantic writing and was so excited that Bold Love was every bit as good as the first two books, Wild Love, and Sweet Love.

The hero, Denny Torres, has retired from football and is living in a mostly unfurnished home outside of the north country New York town of Pine Ridge while he figures out what exactly he’s going to do next with his life. Luckily, he doesn’t have to rattle around an empty house for long when he hires Bethany Jones, an artist better known as Bee, to do the interior design for him. Bee needs money to finally achieve her dream of art school in London which has been too long deferred. What she doesn’t need is another obstacle to school in the shape of an ex-football player who is as sweet on the inside as he is hot on the outside.

Bold Love is extremely romantic – how could it not be in such a gorgeous setting – but it is also a thoughtful examination of family dynamics. Both Bee and Denny have played certain roles within their families for a long time. As their relationship progresses, they are simultaneously called upon to ask themselves about which of their respective hangups are worth holding on to as they enter the next phase of adulthood. When is the point that love crosses over to enabling unhealthy behaviors? How much do your family dynamics impact your adult relationships, and should they? The ending is a satisfying blend of happily ever after alongside some serious emotional growth and will be sure to delight the savviest of romance readers.

Independent and generous Bee always gives too much of herself to help her friends, but with the support of the small town of Pine Ridge, especially the ex-NFL star, Denny, who has hired her to decorate his mountain home, her life is about to change in the next Forever Adirondacks installment Bold Love. I really enjoyed Sweet Love, but after this one, I want to move to Pine Ridge. These characters are smart and lovable and just so so genuine. I loved the callbacks to the past books, bringing all these characters in to a found family. Sydney is a gem, and I love how this book is not just a small town romance but it is also a subtle ode to romance novels and their value. I love the quiet love the book showers on romance and on how valuable romance novels can be for people and even education. And Bee is just the perfect heroine. She’s sarcastic and sharp, but insecure and honest. She feels relatable and wonderful, and omg Denny! Just wow, he might just be the perfect man. He has damage he’s working through but he’s also strong and sensitive. Bee is bold and Denny is so supportive and I love how the two challenge each other. These characters are just unbelievably kind and heartwarming, and I love the conflicts feel realistic. I think the resolution felt a little rushed but the epilogue is perfect. The banter is great in this, there’s some great steam and chemistry, and the characters are perfect. This is just such a wonderful small town romance!

New to me author Lauren Accardo touched my heart and soul with this wonderful story of two people trying to move on from their pasts and build a future.

Denny and Bee were amazing together. Oil and water to gasoline and fire. Once they gave in, the pages ignited. But, they had a lot to deal with and a whole lot to overcome. Mama Bee needed to become Bethany. Denny needed to overcome his insecurities. They both needed a parent overhaul. It took a force of nature for them to both see their short-comings but they did. And, it only took one little tattoo for Bee to see that her future could be bright and beautiful in Pine Ridge. I absolutely loved Denny and Bee. They were so real and down to earth. To me, him being a former football player was so far on the back-burner that it didn’t matter what he did before he came to Pine Ridge.

What mattered was the man he was making himself into. My heart broke with the insecurities his parents instilled in him. I was ecstatic when he finally realized everything he was going to lose because of them. And Bee, well, she did the right thing and was moving forward until her past came back and took over her mind. In the end, all I knew was that I wanted drinks and cheese, two Adirondack chairs and a lake to look out over.

3 ⭐️ Cute small town romance

"It's amazing the ways our parents can mess us up. I guess we're all still figuring it out."

Summary:

The story follows Bee, an aspiring interior designer from NYC, and Denny, an ex-NFL player who lives in Pine Ridge in Upstate New York.

Bee, a club manager from NYC, was planning on going to design school in London when she's once again put in a position where she feels obligated to financially bail her careless brother out. So she decides to head to Pine Ridge to get some space, where she meets a tall, dark, and handsome ex-football player in need of an interior designer.

Denny moved to Pine Ridge a few years ago after quitting the NFL and bought an enormous house on the lake. But his home feels more like a sad bachelor pad. And with his judgemental parents visiting in a few months, Denny wants nothing more than to show he has his life together, starting with his home.

Neither Bee nor Denny is looking for love, but something like fate and small-town meddling set these two on a collision course.

My Thoughts:

If you love small-town romance and flawed heroes, this book is for you.

You're introduced to a big city girl who's looking to get in and out, and a laid-back ex-football player looking to get away. Bee and Denny use Pine Ridge as a way to escape but in very different ways. Both carry emotional scars from their past (childhood/parents), which I found extremely relatable. And throughout the story, we see them grow, help each other overcome their fears, discover who they are/what they want. I liked that this book addressed some heavier topics while also remaining lighthearted.

The one thing that drove me nuts was Bee's relationship with her brother. She's such a sweet, strong character but when it comes to her sh*tty brother who uses her, she's so weak. I know this is how it's supposed to be portrayed, but I just hated it. I would NEVER in a million years pay for anyone's medical bill who ended up in the hospital because of their carelessness. Also, no one had to pay the bills immediately. Her brother would have been released from the hospital and had bills he would be responsible for. I didn't understand why she used her own money to pay for it right then and there when it wasn't necessary.

Overall, it's a sweet story but nothing special. This is the third book in the Forever Adirondacks series and can be read as a standalone. I didn't read the previous stories but I think it would have made me feel more connected to Pine Ridge and the side-characters.

I am such a fan of the Pine Ridge series. Each book has continued to get better and better. Lauren Accardo has created the coziest town in the Adirondack’s with the sweetest friend group/found family. Bee and Denny’s story was the perfect conclusion to this series. It’s forced proximity deliciousness. One of the things that Accardo has done extraordinary is navigating hard familial dynamics in each book. Both Denny and Bee have strained relationships with their parents and sibling and end up really leaning on each other to deal with those.

As much as Bee had a great character arc in this book, I found myself wanting more and more of Denny’s development. As a young, retired NFL player, he’s just the sweetest teddy bear. I’d say that there’s a hint of Grumpy/Sunshine in their dynamic, but really, they’re both just such loveable characters. I wished there was more to this book, because I just wanted to keep reading, Denny is so gone for Bee and the moment where Bee really, truly reciprocates those feeling is just perfect.

This was a pretty low-angst read, but still had a few moments to it, that just made it even better.

Lauren has quickly become a favourite author and I look forward to reading what she’s going to publish next!

Love this trope of an ex-athlete and a feisty, self-sufficient heroine together in a small town! Bee and Denny were a great couple--love how they fought hard and loved hard too. What a great addition to Lauren's Forever Adirondacks series. Very cool too to see a FilAm hero in a romance!

The leaves rustled in the slight breeze, their golden hues and deep crimson splashes of color giving life to her surroundings. It wasn’t the vibrant colors of the club spinning in the disco ball though. It wasn’t the bass thumping party jam either, instead it was a quiet atmospheric experience that made her truly take notes on her feelings. It was a crispness in the air that prickled her skin and not the pulsing of her muscles as she followed the moves of everyone on the dance floor. She thought the bright lights and night life were her only way to live life… but this quiet slice of paradise may be trying to find a place in her heart, too.

Bold Love returns to the quaint little town of Pine Ridge and reunites with characters from the first two books of the series as well as letting the reader get to know some new characters. Bee and Denny were a couple you can’t help but root for and their real life troubles and struggles just made them so relatable. I couldn’t get enough of them or the small town atmosphere. Plus, with a drag queen best friend named Jamie in the mix… you know this book will be a good time!

If you love small town romances or have read and enjoyed the other two books in this series, then you’ll want to snag this romance!

I haven’t read the other books in this series, but this one is a good read as a stand alone. Two people, unsure of themselves and declaring their true intent to the world, meet in a magical little town called Pine Ridge. I lied Denny the best. I thought he was the most original and I liked the tradition and background the author based his character on. I was slower to warm to Bee, simply because I disliked how she enabled her brother constantly. One scene should have occurred long before it did, involving her brother.
It’s a good book to spend a few hours reading. Thanks to Berkeley and NetGalley for the advance copy.

This sucked me in from the beginning. I read half the book in one night. Small town romance Check! Close proximity Check! Slight hallmark vibes Check!

I didn't realize this was part of a series, and it did not hinder the plot of the book. The author pulled off a good balance of stand alone and series mix.

Denny, an ex-NFL football pro was sexy but wholesome. Bee was a great mix of cute and confident. They both had these unique obstacles to overcome. I was a big fan! I'll def be going back to read the beginning of the series!

Whenever a new Pine Ridge story in the Forever Adirondacks series appears on my Kindle, I run with glee to my nearest cozy chair, grab a blanket and hot cocoa, and spend the night reading it. Ms. Accardo’s books are happy, gentle romances that soothe the soul. BOLD LOVE is no exception.

I loved Denny, the ex-football player with self-esteem issues, and the strong-willed Bee, who is secretly crumbling inside thanks to family stresses. He’s all jock, outdoorsy, and hottie, and she’s all tattooed, city, and artsy. They fall in love in such a natural way, quietly, after becoming friends (with a little help from the other Pine Ridge characters from WILD LOVE and SWEET LOVE!).

With its idyllic setting, smooth writing, and close-knit characters, BOLD LOVE is a comfort read and perfect escape from life for a few hours. The drama is present, but not overwhelmingly angsty, which I appreciated. The love scenes are emotional, with some more colorful than others, which I also appreciated. BOLD LOVE is a wonderful book that delivers exactly what the romance reader in me desires—a character-driven, layered story, with a satisfying happily ever after.

I wish this series could go on forever!

I tried reading both the ebook and listening to the audio, but I struggled with both editions. I liked the small-town Adirondacks setting but didn’t love the romance. It felt a bit far-fetched and quick, and overall the story did not hold my attention.

This was my favorite book of the series!

I loved Denny and learning all about his heritage and family traditions, even if I didn't love his family and how they made Denny feel like he wasn't enough. Bee was a little bit frustrating at first because of how much of a pushover she seemed to be, especially when it came to her brother. However, the two of them together just really worked. They gave each other the strength to stand up for themselves with their families without even having to push the fact that it needed to be done on each other. I love the push and pull between them.

I really enjoyed the first two books in Lauren Accardo’s Adirondacks series. WILD LOVE was a good read, SWEET LOVE, book 2 was even better. I couldn’t put either one down the stories were so good. The third book, BOLD LOVE, was a let down for me. I felt like she bit off more than she could chew and tried to hit too many bases at once. That’s sad because in reading her notes at the end, this one was the one that was the nearest and dearest to her own heart. Maybe that personal involvement in it was what got in the way of a good story.

I liked Denny and Bee in and of themselves. They were good characters, although the way Denny was portrayed in WILD LOVE was a lot savvier and emotionally stronger than the Denny I saw in BOLD LOVE. When Bee was seen as a strong character she was great. When she was her brother’s doormat it didn’t work for me. I did enjoy the updates as it were, of the characters from the earlier books. I get it that Accardo married into an amazing family and wanted to show case some of the characteristics she loves best about them. I saw that in Denny. I couldn’t stand Isaac and his redemption seemed forced to me. It didn’t work.

What didn’t work for me was the go nowhere storylines about her gay roommates and the teen sexual identity issues. She touched on them, tried to do a good job presenting the conflicts those individuals go through, but it came across mainly like she was told she needed to write a GLBT or teen sexual crisis type book. It didn’t move the story along, I wasn’t interested in it and it fell flat.

In her closing notes Accardo says that this is the last book of the series. I hope not. Pine Ridge might be a small town, but even small towns have lots of good stories to tell. What about Karen and Yuri? Why not write a story about an older couple who are finding love after their spouses are gone and children raised? With how Accardo dealt with alcoholism and other life issues in the first two books I think she’d do a fantastic job in a book about Karen and Yuri and the issues they face as seniors. Beyond them, again, even a small town has its share of stories. Pine Ridge is a great location to tell them.

This is an objective review and not an endorsement of this book.

A sparkling small town romance full of heart, heat and charm, readers won’t be able to resist Lauren Accardo’s latest novel, Bold Love.

Football player Denny Torres needs somewhere to lie low for a while. His career isn’t exactly in great shape and he’s made a couple of mistakes off the field that have hardly endeared him to the press and public at large. The small town of Pine Ridge is the ideal location for him to lick his wounds while he figures out his next move and handsome Denny can clearly see that his new home has got plenty of attractions – mainly fellow newcomer Bethany Jones. But while Denny thinks he has found somewhere to settle down, Bethany plans to leave Pine Ridge the very first chance she gets.

Bee would be lying if she didn’t acknowledge the beauty of her new surroundings. Pine Ridge is a gorgeous place to live in, but Bee has big dreams and even bigger ambitions and the small town can only ever be a pit stop for her while she plans her future. Bee is not looking to settle down in Pine Ridge and nothing and nobody is going to keep her from making her artistic dreams a reality – certainly not Denny Torres, even though she cannot stop herself from thinking about him!

Succumbing to temptation quickly proves inevitable for Denny and Bee, but with their time together coming to an end, will the two of them find the courage to admit how they really feel about one another? Is a future for the two of them possible? Or do they just want different things out of life?

I loved Lauren Accardo’s Bold Love. A fun read full of warmth and sizzle, Bold Love ticks all the right boxes with a tempting blend of witty banter, rib-tickling humor and red-hot sensuality. Denny and Bee are two wonderful characters and their funny, poignant and engrossing love story kept me riveted to the pages of this book from start to finish.

A gorgeous romantic read, Bold Love was my first book by Lauren Accardo, but it shall certainly not be my last.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was such an enjoyable read. This book is about a home decor designer who needs money to go to college and when she receives an offer to decorate a retired NFL player's house, she decides to take the offer. I want to first mention that this novel is book three of the series but could be read as a standalone. I really enjoyed this small town romance novel. It was very well written with a heartwarming story. It deals with family dynamic and past issues that need to be resolved. The story plot line was very well structured with great pacing and characters. I enjoyed the fact that this book took place in a small town because they always have the cutest romance. I honestly had no problems with the writing and thought the story was very well written.

The main characters in this book are Bee and Denny which is written from both their povs. I enjoyed both characters in this novel as I felt connected with them. They were just so purely written that you can tell the author based these characters from someone they know. Both characters have their own issues to deal with and it was nice to see how much they help each other solve their problems. They had amazing character development because of this. There were also some side characters in this book and I suspect that some are from books 1 and 2. The romance was the best part of the book was it was so cute and heartwarming. The trope is a forced proximity and its a 1/5 level of steaminess.

The ending was very well done as it was cute and totally what you would expect. Overall this was a great story. Everything was just very well written and I just love the author's writing. I would totally be reading the others first two books to see what those romances are about even though I'm kind of spoiled. I recommend this book to fans of Sweet Bliss and small town romance lovers.

I've been looking forward to this book since the moment Denny Torres hit the page earlier in the series. Happy to say he lived up to all of my expectations. I adored him.

I enjoy complex, multi-layered characters at a crossroads in their lives. Accardo gives readers that with both Denny and Bee. While on the surface Denny appears to have everything, he is actually a roiling ocean of emotion and uncertainty, dealing with familial expectations and unsure of his next steps. Bee knows exactly what her next steps will be...until a call from her brother changes everything. Now she's in Pine Ridge, decorating Denny's new home, re-earning the money she needs to take those next steps, and maybe building a new version of herself along the way. Neither of them expected love to enter the equation.

Accardo has once again created a story, and characters, who reeled me in and kept me invested from start to finish. I love the small community so vividly depicted in this series and the characters who float in and out of all three books, adding to the richness of the stories without detracting from the main couple. I enjoyed the extra layers incorporated into the book, such as the teen book club that causes push back from some parents, the lessons Denny learns - and teaches - during his interactions with the high school football team, and the growth Bee experiences in finally confronting long-held fears. These two challenge each other, open one another's eyes to new possibilities, help each other heal emotionally, and let's not forget their chemistry. So good.

Bold Love is my favorite book in a really good series. I highly recommend it. This book can be enjoyed on its own but because of intersecting characters and storylines, I think the series is best enjoyed by reading the three books in order.

I like this book more than the previous books in the series. It was unexpected yet delightful.
Denny and Bethany both need breaks from their lives. Each is different from the other. Denny moved away from the spotlight for a more relaxing pace in his life. He is finding himself puzzled when his parents come to visit in the upcoming months. His family strives for perfection, and he seems to be the black sleep in the family. It puts him in panic mode. He needs his place fully decorated. And he has the perfect person for the job.
Bethany is facing a big dilemma in her life. Her chances of going to school overseas are shot when she rescues her brother again. Her inability to stop enabling her brother is going to cost her in the long run. Families can only learn when you stop fixing their problems. They got to discover some way. Gladly, she has the chance to reevaluate her life choice when she agrees to interior decor Denny's house.
At first, I was kind of hesitant about Denny and Bee being together. I found Bee's personality a bit too hard. I understand it was rough not being understood in your childhood. It's really not necessary to have so many walls up. Not everyone is trying to get you. Learn from your mistakes.

This sweet, small town romance is chocked full of everything that makes for a heartwarming read. With a fanastic community feel, an artistic woman, Bee finds herself entranced by ex-NFl player, Denny. He's pretty hard to resist, but why you try? Bee has plenty of reasons to, but when offers her a way to make great money to help fulfill her lifelong dream, she finds that a few months in Pine Ridge and around Denny nearly 24x7 might not be so bad. Sounds like a great test to me. As much as she may fight it, these two have a magnetic attraction, and made for a nice slow-burn love story.

There are emotional barriers for both of them. Both have suffered through family dynamics that left scars on their psyches, and as they grow closer, they form a connection allowing them to heal themselves and each other. 4.5 stars and recommendation.

One note, this is easily a book you can read without having read books 1 and 2 in the series, I say this because I haven't. But I do plan to rectify that and have both on my summer beach reads list.

Pine Ridge gives me all the Virgin River vibes so if that’s your jam, grab this series and jump in!

Bee is the tattooed, bold opposite of Denny, the ex-NFL star living in a beautiful Adirondack trying to figure out what to do with the rest of his life. Insert Bee into the storyline as she decorates his house, quickly, before his overbearing parents arrive.

The emotional scars from both Denny and Bee’s childhood are woven throughout the story, and while a heavier content, it doesn’t weigh the plot line down at all.

The novel wastes no time jumping into the action and banter, which I appreciate, and it can definitely be read as a standalone story, or in series order.

If you enjoy small town romance and flawed characters, give this one a try.

Thank you to @berkleyrom & @laurenaccardo for my #gifted copy in exchange for my honest review! I am running to grab the first two novels and spend some more time in Pine Ridge!

Bee spends her life being there for everyone else. After putting her dreams on hold to help her brother she stops into the small, mountain town of Pine Ridge to visit with her friend (who owns a bookstore I would love to visit) and she meets Denny.
.
Denny is finding a life for himself here in his post NFL life. He hires Bee to decorate his new house and as time goes on Bee finds she’s falling in love with the house….and the man.
.
This book was like a warm hug, a total comfort read and I didn’t realize when I started reading it that it is book three in a series. Now I need to go back and read the rest of them!
.
I loved seeing the two of them figure out their lives and even more so I loved that Bree formed a book club for the high schoolers and Denny helped out with the high school football team. Small town living at its finest and I was all in!
.
Thank you @berkleyromance for an advanced copy! This book drops on Tuesday!

I've come late to Lauren Accardo's Forever Adirondacks series, but it didn't take long for the little town of Pine Ridge to pull me in. This is the third book in the series, but it's safe to say it works well as a standalone. I didn't feel like I was missing any vital information. That said, now that I've met these characters, I really want more of them.
Bee and Denny get a forced proximity romance that is engaging and emotional. They each have baggage to work through, and of course, they don't want a relationship. And what happens when they don't want a relationship? It's gonna creep right in there! I really enjoyed these characters and their romance. They're easy to root for, and they feel like people I could know, which makes the story so easy to fall into and before I knew it, I was hooked and invested. To sum it up, if you're up for a forced proximity romance, this is one to check out.

Verdict: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The last book in the Forever Adirondack’s series! If you want a standard, sweet romance then you have it with this one (and the series!) There’s nothing out of the box or unique about this story, but it’s still good. You know exactly what you’re getting and that can be comforting.

Denny and Bee built a good relationship that starts as friendship, even though there’s pretty instant attraction. I did find Bee pretty annoying though…her relationship with her brother was irritating, her wavering on what she wanted was frustrating, and her vibe just meh. Her “I’m a big NYC girl and this little town must be so close minded” convo was eye roll, and it’s clear the author views small towns that way as well while simultaneously setting her book in one and saying “but this small town is different.” I just wasn’t here for it.

Overall, it’s not ground breaking but will likely please most romance readers!

'bold love' is an adorable small town romance following an ex-NFL player and a home interior designer. i love small town romances and i think this book perfectly captures the essence of them: the tight-knit friendships, the placid atmosphere, and that magical pull these towns seem to have. i thought the characters were amazing as well but for some reason, i just wasn't able to connect with the book at all. while it was cute and all, i think the book was just... average, and it fell a bit flat for me. even though it didn't work for me, i still think it's worth a shot if you're interested! it definitely has potential and is probably one of these "see for yourself" type of books.

thank you berkley for giving me a copy to review!

What a fantastic read 👏🏻 I’m sad that this series is over, but I loved every step of the way! I would definitely love to see something in the future about how all these characters are doing 😉🥰

Bee & Denny both had their obstacles to face, & seeing that development done so well throughout really made this book that much better 💗 I loved the self discovery, & growth that they pulled out from the other. And getting to see how the town is, & the characters from the previous books, was the icing on the cake 🥰

As much as I absolutely loved the other books, I think Denny & Bee might have taken the top spot 😍

Overall verdict: a heartwarming, delightful story that captures your heart from the very first page 💖 I definitely recommend this entire series!

LOVED 👏🏻 IT 👏🏻

Loved this book. The 3rd book in the Adirondacks series. Each book however stands alone.

Denny just wants his family to see that he made the right decision in leaving the NFL. Bee is a city girl trying to escape the city and her pesky bad boy brother who she seems to always help get out if jam. Can she do her job in Pine Ridge keep moving on to her next career move? Or will this job be the one that fixes all her problems?

Makes you want to pack your bag and head to pine ridge. It's funny, entertaining and steamy all the way through. I loved that Bee is a LGBT Ally. She brought her NYC experience and knowledge to Pine Ridge and held a book club. A definite must read!

1.5⭐️ I wanted to love this one because they were the first couple in the series that almost made it through a first date without crossing the lines lol *almost*. Also, I didn’t feel the chemistry between the MC’s. Not sure how they fell in love. They both struggled to stand up for themselves against their families or ppl close to them so I shouldn’t be shocked that they couldn’t confess their feelings to one another. & I get falling in love can be a beautiful thing that causes everything around you to stand still but the theme of this series seemed to be every FMC has to redirect their dreams/plans to fall in love with the MMC and this small town that doesn’t even have wifi.

Danny and Bee meet thanks to friends and he has her come back to help decorate his house so it's ready for his parents. They like each other but trying to give into the like and later love takes them both some time. This is a slow burn with some steam at the end.

With this one we get ex- pro ball player and ex rich kid making life for herself. NYC and now rural NY. With both of them finding their way and want they need in life. I really enjoyed this series! And can't wait for more book from Lauren.

4 stars!
