Skylar Crescent thought that a scholarship to Hawthorn Academy would change her life.

And she’s right. It will.

Just not in the way she expects.

The Sect and The Set rule the school.
I rule the school.

Yet ever since she appeared at Hawthorn Academy, I’ve found myself doubting it all.
Doubting the plan.

The girl has got to go.
Got to leave this place and never return.
And even though I won’t admit it to anybody.

There’s a small part of me that wants her to stay.

Dispose is the fourth book in the Hawthorn Academy series. It is Ollie's POV of Disorder and Disease.
You will need to have read both before starting.
Dispose is a dark high school bully romance and contains themes that some readers might find uncomfortable.

An average Brit who loves to read and write.

Ever since I was younger and I read Pride and Prejudice for the first time, I just knew that I loved the romance, and loved to read about love.

As I've got older, I love to read about all different kinds of love and I will try any trope or genre at least once.

I've always wanted to be an author and in the year 2020, things just fell into place.

Oh boy, with a quote like that you just know a rollercoaster of a book keeping you on the edge of your seat is coming your way! Being back in this world but this time in Ollie's pov was everything although it was even more nerve wracking, like in this really amazing way!

Y'all already know how much I love a good revenge storyline and gaah in this book and the whole series it's honestly top-freaking-notch, Katie Lowrie seriously delivered once again guys!

Questions that were left unanswered were answered in Dispose and urghhh even when I knew how things were gonna end up I was still as stressed out as the last time! It's one of those feelings you can't help but love even when it drives you insane ya know? And I truly loved every second of it!

Without spoiling anything I'm gonna end this review by saying; "Oh we got so played, huh?"

*I received this ARC from the author but the thoughts are completely my own.*

(Hawthorn Academy series, book 4)

Y’all know I’m obsessed with the Hawthorn Academy series so it’s no surprise that I absolutely loved diving back into this world with Dispose.

I won’t lie, I was a nervous wreck reading it and my stomach was doing backflips the whole way through.. but it was bloody good reading the story from Ollie and Orlando’s POV. All those questions we wanted to find out where finally answered and it was so interesting reading the other side of the story. I loved seeing how events were perceived by Ollie and how much it differed from Skylars view of things.

Even though the events were that of the other books in the series, it was like reading a COMPLETELY different story. I honestly don’t know how she done it, but I was just as hooked with this book as I was the others.

Hawthorn Academy is full of secrets, lies and revenge. It’s exciting, frustrating and full of suspense. The crazy events will have you screaming at the characters and the secrets told will have you itching for the truth to come out.

Katie has a magical way of pulling you straight into the world she creates and has you hanging on to every word. She’s got a particularly good knack for getting those cliffhangers on point and I absolutely love her for it.

Reading a series has always been a struggle for mine as I tend to get bored of characters easily… but this isn’t the case at all with the Hawthorn Academy series. I love it and I 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a new series to dive into.

So grateful for Katie for providing me with an ARC for this. You’re amazing 🖤 *arc exchanged for honest review*

First and foremost... I didn't know I needed this book. Didn't know I needed that insight into the other side. Didn't know I needed to know all the secrets and how it was pulled off. I am so thankful this book was written to have the full story, hands down, absolutely amazing.

I feel like I was reading the story all over again. There is so much here that we didn't know about the first time around. Even though I knew what was coming, I was still on the edge of my seat!

Without spoilers, because you need to read book 1 & 2 before this one, I needed it. The plan was so intricate, and obviously had major players helping. I'm glad we have gotten to see what Ollie was thinking through the first 2 books. Yeah, in book 3, we get some insight into what happened in book 1 and 2, but Dispose makes EVERYTHING from Disorder and Disease. I loved it!

Being inside Ollie's head was interesting. The way he justifies certain parts from book 1 and 2 really explained his character and showed how much he actually did develop in the series.

It was a POV I didn't know I needed and one I enjoyed but I definitely loved the other 3 books more. I generally find that anyway once another POV book comes out.

It was nice to be able to read Ollie and Orlando's sides of things for everything that happened in the first two books. I was still unsure prior to reading Dispose which things occurred with Orlando and which things occurred with Ollie. It definitely helped knowing and getting insight to what Ollie was thinking throughout the whole thing.

Despite the fact he was realizing he might actually care about her, he still did the thing at the fashion show.. which just, kind of sucked. He was being such a stupid boy and it's sad that he would let his hate go that far. There were moments where I actually thought she would have been better off with Orlando after reading their thoughts and also I even thought she might be better with Leo. But in the end it worked out for them.

The only reason the book got a 3 instead of a 4 were the random errors I saw in the book. Aside from that, I enjoyed it.

Dispose is the first two books in the Hawthorne Academy series but from ollies POV. I didn't realise how much I needed to know what ollie was thinking.

This was the perfect ending to the series. I found myself flicking back to read bits of disorder and disease and got to enjoy the story all over again.

We finally find out more about guys and what they wanted from sky and when things changed for ollie.

I still wish we had a different ending to the series especially now knowing what the guys thought but I know it was how it had to end.

I’ll try to make this review without spoiling anything. Seeing the guy POV in each interaction with Sky made everything clearer, it helps you understand his motives behind every action and clarify his involvement in all the events of the first two books in the series. But at the same time it didn’t feel like reading the same story all over again, his perspective makes the story interesting and makes you want to stay in his head and know more. Definitely a great addition to the series.

Side note - to understand the story books 1-3 to be read first.

This book was amazing from Ollies POV. It answered so many of my questions and I understood certain aspects of books 1-3 and the mind of Ollie and how he planned things.

Books 1-3 are my favourites due to they have the gritty detail but this book was the ending I needed, plus Ollie grew on me so much by the end of the series that I can’t help but love this.

ok

This was a good book but I would have preferred to have their POV throughout the book. Although I do get that would be hard when we don’t know about Orlando yet. I don’t care for the f word being used so much but overall I did like this book.

If you’ve read these books, or any one of my reviews, you will know the absolute torture the Hawthorn Academy puts you through.

My trust issues were shattered to smithereens and still to this day I have NEVER forgotten how it felt the moment I read the plot twist to Disorder then again for Disease. Did rereading these plot twists in Ollie’s point of view help with my trust issues..? Well no not really, the guy just makes me insane.

I loved reading it from his POV. It gave me so much clarity on everything that happens in the first two books and all those secret moments that you FINALLY have answers for. But my god I just couldn’t believe how much it took me right back there to the very beginning.

And (in the best way possible) it felt worse reading it from Ollie’s POV because the dude is just so.. AHHH! I can’t even say because of spoilers, especially if you haven’t read the series. But this, again, was the best form of torture.

It’s amazing being transported to all those months ago and all the same feelings but heightened because 1. We knew what was going to happen but 2. It was harder to experience because of how real everything was. There’s no lovey dovey here, just a pure revenge plan of hatred and I loved every second!

If you haven’t yet read the Hawthorn Academy series I recommend you do! It’s full of angst, major (MAJOR) trust issues and shit ton drama that I PROMISE you will not see coming!
