When Summer suddenly finds herself single and in need of a place to stay, she turns to her best friend, Shaw. With nowhere else to go, she packs up and moves into his spare bedroom, just down the hall from his small son. Summer has been a part of their life for years but stepping into their little family unit feels intimate in a way she hadn’t imagined and even more surprising is how she’s starting to notice all of Shaw’s sexy single dad traits.
When the lines of their friendship begin to blur, there’s no going back. Soon, they can’t keep their hands, or their mouths, off each other. Their connection has always been there only now it feels even stronger, as if they were always meant for more. But when Shaw’s ex-wife catches them in a compromising position, accusations and insinuations threaten to tear them apart. With his ex threatening to take him to court, Shaw’s world begins to unravel and everything that felt so right becomes tinted in ugliness.
Is the connection between Summer and Shaw strong enough to survive a court battle with his ex or will their new relationship and even their friendship crumble under the strain of the fight for his family?

She is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, but living in beautiful San Diego with her family, while being a badass boss CEO in Real Estate!
Friends to lovers, single dad, and close proximity, a lot is going on in this story! Now the premise is not unique, but the way the author tells the story is.
Summer comes home early to make a surprise dinner for her boyfriend; only she gets the surprise! In an emergency call to find a place to stay, she calls her best friend, Shaw.
For eight years, Shaw has been friends with Summer, never once crossing that line. Their friend Slone decides to help after a day of drinking, with a stunt for them to kiss! Now that they know the desire is there, can they take the risk and not ruin the friendship?
I enjoyed the conversations that ensued; having these adult conversations and opening the lines of communication eased the relationship beyond friendship. Shaw has a son, and the ex-wife is not pleased with the new developments. Will the trouble she stirs up end this new relationship?
Summer has an incident with her store, another stressful situation. Will they survive the mess or grow even closer?
I received an advanced copy from the Author; this is my voluntary review.
Oh, this book brought the heat in a few ways! The angry kind and the adult kind can be found here. Shaw and Summer may have been friends without benefits for years, but when the time is right and a mutual BFF removes the blinders via a drunkenly ingenious stunt, there’s no going back. Not when that desire is finally out in the open and hearts are on the line. Of course, some nasty stunts get in the way a few times, but they also serve to bring Summer and Shaw closer together.
I loved how Summer and Shaw progressed and actually talked things over before just jumping into anything. After all, they’re adults and they weren’t about to destroy all that they’ve built over the years when hormones scream to be obeyed. So because they communicated, they skipped a lot of the angst and misery that can come with friends-to-lovers scenarios. And that’s always a satisfying thing to see!
Summer and Shaw have been best friends for 8 years. After Summer breaks up with her boyfriend, she leaves with nowhere to go so she calls Shaw and he moves her into his spare room at his home. Shaw has a 4 yr old son who loves his Auntie Summer and she has always been a part of his life so it's been like being a part of their little family. Things start to heat up between Summer and Shaw and they realize their friendship is so much more but his ex wife isn't too happy about it and starts to cause trouble. His ex is taking him to court for full custody and Summer's bookstore has been vandalized, can they survive all this mess? Will the stress take a toll on their new relationship?
Finally a story where communication is front and center. Shaw and Summer have been friends forever until they finally see each other in a new way. They acted like mature adults and talked about what they wanted and listened to the other one. Lots of outside drama, but S and S stood strong together. Loved this one.

I loved this friends-to-lovers romance. This trope offers such a rich wealth of emotion and history to draw off of and this author did just that. Summer and Shaw will have you feeling swoony and sweaty as their story unfolds and their relationship evolves. Emotion and drama are the star players here and as they take center stage you can expect to experience a wide array of emotions as this couple scores a direct hit, right to your heart! This is my impartial, independently posted review.
3.50 Stars This was my first book by this author. And though I enjoyed the storyline, I felt everything was a bit rushed.
Summer just found her boyfriend in their bed with another women. Immediately she moved out and moved in with her best friend Shaw. Summer and Shaw have been best friends since college. Each having their own relationships and being a friend to the other. Shaw is a single dad and his ex is a bit of a nightmare. But all in this time Shaw and Summer were never anything more than best friends. Until Summer’s friend suggests that maybe they can be more. Now all she can think about is Shaw and being with him.
Shaw is a single dad and his life is great. He has his son, his best friend a job he loves what more does he need. He has always had a little crush on Summer but just never took it that far, until one kiss between them changes everything. And Shaw knows that now is his time to get the girl he has always wanted. But will his ex allow him to be happy??
Like I said the story was good. I enjoyed it. I think that Summer got together with Shaw to quickly after her breakup. But I liked the fact that they just didn’t jump into bed. They talked about everything and how it will affect their friendship and his son. Shaw’s ex is a bit of cow though, lol… Summer also didn’t give her satisfaction of dropping to her level and just took everything in stride. All in all a good story 😊♥
A wonderful romance that will make your heart pound in all the best ways!
Blurred Lines is a light, sweet, romantic, fun and entertaining friends to lovers and more story. It also have a lot of emotion that will take your heart on a wild ride. The story is about Summer and Shaw who met in college and became fast friends, but no benefits involved. It is now eight years later and they are still fast friends. So when Summer finds herself homeless after a breakup with her now ex-boyfriend Shaw offers her the second bedroom at his place. As these two starting living together, again with no benefits, they start to see each other in different ways, and really good ways. They do not cross that line until one night after another friend and a lot of booze get involved. Now that they have what happens? This story was such a lovely romance at the heart of it all. Shaw and Summer were always meant to be together but never took that step that takes so much courage, as they did not want to ruin what they have. Along the way to their HEA of course there are a number of problems and issues, caused by his caustic ex-wife, that they will have to work through. In the end it only brings them closer together and more sure of their love for each other. This is a wonderful summer read which will thrill you and make your heart pound, in all the right ways!
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
When Summer suddenly finds herself single and homeless it's her longtime best friend Shaw that steps in to help her out. He offers up his spare room to her, with the option to stay as long as she needs. What she doesn't expect is for her stay to turn into a permanent one...
Blurred Lines is a delightfully penned friends to lovers romance that is destined to touch your heart! Longtime friends Shaw and Summer learn that their is more brewing between them than just friendship when she becomes his roommate. The close quarters they share start to get extraordinarily hot after their dared to share a kiss. That kiss sets off fireworks neither ever saw coming, and suddenly just being friends doesn't seem like enough. They want more, but are they willing to risk their longtime friendship for it, if it doesn't work out?
I absolutely adored everything about this story, the words were captivating and rich with emotion, and it's perfectly crafted characters totally stole my heart!! It was one of the most enjoyable first time reads that I have had in a while!! Highly recommend!

Every kiss has the potential to be something great This book is about Summer and Shaw, who have always been really close friends. It isn’t until her boyfriend cheats on her, that she is encouraged by her friend Sloane to re-evaluate her relationship with him. Summer temporarily moves in with Shaw and his young son Mason, while she sorts herself out. And one day, an impromptu game of first kisses swiftly grows into something more! They’re incredibly sweet, passionate and steamy, but are always very careful to be respectful around Mason. But Mason loves Summer anyway, which obviously causes a lot of angst from Shaw’s jealous and manipulative ex, Marie. She tried to use Shaw and Summer’s new relationship status against them in a battle for full custody of Mason. She’s toxic, and pure evil! The story has lots of drama, great friends, funny banter, lots of ex-angst, a book store I’d lvo0e to visit, and a wonderful friendship that turned into so much more. I did however feel that it all ended too abruptly, not knowing what would happen next. The characters (even the crazies) pulled me into the story, and had me invested in their lives. I give this book four and a quarter stars. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Summer and Shaw have been friends since meeting in college 8 years earlier. With Summer needing a place to stay after a breakup, they become roommates. As they begin to see each other in a different light, old feelings reemerge, heating things up quickly. But Shaw's a single dad with the requisite 'baby mama drama' and Summer is caught dead center in their latest feud.
This friends-to-lovers romance is done a bit differently. With the help of a few other tropes, the author gives us a light, enjoyable read. Shaw & Summer actually talk to each other more than to other people, saving their relationship a lot of misunderstandings and needless drama.
I enjoyed my first Tarrah Anders read. It was a good kind of different. I would love to read Sloane's story. I loved her character! My only issue was I felt that the book ended a bit abruptly.
Overall, I recommend the book. You'll get sucked in by the characters right until the end.
I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.
Shaw and Summer have been best friends for years. When she's suddenly in need of a new place to live, she moves in - temporarily - with Shaw and his son, Mason. Before long, they're crossing the line from friends to lovers. It's a very bumpy road, though, with Shaw's ex battling him over custody of their son, Summer's business being vandalized, and the doubts of two friends who wonder if a new type of relationship is really where they should be headed. Four-year-old Mason is so adorable, and takes everything in his stride. I love that they had adult-like mature conversations about the what-lfs of this new relationship. And as a sometimes list-maker, I just loved the pro/con list Summer made about the possibility of her and Shaw. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book is about Summer and Shaw. They have been best friends for 8 years, and when Summer catches her boyfriend in a compromising position in their apartment she needs a new place to stay so moves in with her best friend Shaw and his 4 year old son. When another friend pushes them together, things change between them and lines blur between friends and lovers.
This book is an addictive read that I couldn’t put down. I was hooked from the first page. It is hot and steamy and a thoroughly enjoyable read.

Absolutely loved this story! Summer walks in to find her boyfriend cheating on her. She immediately thinks it f her best friend for a place to stay. Shaw comes home to find his best friend in his kitchen and offers to let her stay with him and his son. He has harbored feelings for her for years and hopes that he can convince her to give him a shot. Summer has never seen Shaw in that light until her other friend points it out. Watching their friendship turn into love is beautiful and so entertaining to watch. And Shaw’s son bring a bit of fun to the whole thing!
I enjoyed reading this friends to lovers story who find themselves unlucky in love but they have never given each other more than a fleeting thought. A bbq with friends turns into a game of finding one's special person, with a kiss. Shaw is a single Dad but he is looking for more, can Summer be that person, she is his best friend. Summer is not looking for love of any kind but when the bug bites, what do you do? A great story with some fiery characters that make the book fun to read. Enjoy!

So Ms Anders normally gives the feels, but this one was extra feely... I love Shaw I love all single dad romance ...Shaw was completely devoted to his son, while his ex was a nut case. We hate the baby mama ..... lol... Summer and Shaw both crushed on each other but they ended in the friend zone until well that busted allllll thru that zone... I love the connection between them and how no matter what happened from crazy baby mama they were a solid unit.
Blurred Lins is a friends to lovers story between Shaw and Summer. When Summer is left without a home, Shaw offers a spare bedroom in his home along with his son. While I don’t usually go for books like this, I gladly admit it was a blast to read. I absolutely love one of the characters: Mason. He’s such a precocious little boy and makes the story perfect. His daddy, Shaw, is a wonderful dad. With a good job and a good house, he’s the perfect man. Summer touched my heart. She’s a very strong, peaceful character, and her strengths play off Shaw and Mason beautifully. I will gladly read more by this talented author.

It was an awesome read. Summer and Mason had been best friends for years, even though he pinned for her the whole time he never acted on it. A drunken kiss was all it took for them to see what has been in front of them the whole time. But with drama brewing with his ex, can they still find the happiness they have been looking for?

Steam level 10!!! The rest of the story cute/ predictable… there just wasn’t a lot to it. Crazy ex was an obvious plot line. Also friends for that long and you’re telling me oh randomly out of the blew you were so hot for him you could barely keep it together? Yeah ok. Lol
Amazing story! Absolutely loved the characters and how relatable they were. I think the story could have been longer more drama but it was good. I respect Shaw for how he treated his ex but on the other hand I really wanted to see her go down!! Amazing book, would recommend.
The book is a good, and enjoyable friends to lovers romance read. The story has a good story line. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry.
