Romance is all what the book is about. It's the book that will make you believe that actually there are still people who can love each other so intensely that you will wish you can trade spaces or places with them.
Mangi is a successful business man who has never been interested in serious relationships. A player that chows and goes. Amandla is a junior accountant who at 23 has never been in a relationship maybe due to her past that forced her to grow at a very tender age. She had some traumatic experiences that made her keep to herself and was very antisocial.

When they decided to give love a chance, it's fireworks. Their love blossoms daily and too fast. They explore each other, they fight for silly things, they spoil each other but one thing stands out and that is the deepness of their love.
It was very interesting to page through the book and I could see the pages towards the end getting thinner and thinner without any disappointments from each party. This made me realise that when we read books or see people's relationships, we wait in anticipation for the day they break up. We cannot wait for the day it ends in tears. I got worried as I realised this, that are we that persimistic and have lost all hope in the love department that we always expect heartaches, disappointments, abuse, cheating etc?
Mangi surprised me as I expected him as a known player to change as the time went on. But I guess when you meet the one, it is what it is. I also liked how Amandla grew in this relationship. From a virgin to bedroom goddess.
Why did Mangi's past had to ruin everything though my author? You cannot allow me to hate Amandla for her decision, so book 2 is required. Besides, there's a lot we still need to know. What is the story behind the brother? Patrick's family? Can one give up because of my past? She said she was his life. Should Mangi have kept this a secret... I am sooo confused.
Though I found Mangi's character cocky at the beginning, I loved how he loved his girl. He gave it all, so why maMthembu?

The book will make you realise the power of love. If you have no one, it will make you wish to find that person who can fill the other parts of your life. Infact, it can make you feel so lonely and ask yourself questions like- if you really not worth this kind of love. Because wow, that guy poured all he could. If you are a woman you will want your Mangi and if you are a guy, you will want your Amandla. Their intimate scenes, Jehova... No further comment. But I made a mistake and read one while in the queue in a public place and I regreted.

I also loved the relationship Amandla had with her father. It's priceless. So as the love Mangi's family had for their to-be daughter and sister in law.

Thanks Sne, this was a brilliant offering. You reminded us that real love still exists out there. Uvuse osekulele and I am sure this will bring hope to those who have given up on this department called love. I have no doubt some after reading this will give love a chance again.

If you are a sucker for love then this book is for you be it romance or familial this is it. The book is narrated by the 2 protagonists povs: Amandla and Mangaliso. Amandla loses her mama at a young age and gets to grow up with her dad only whom she ends up not living with at 16/17. This made me appreciate the importance of a support system in one's life. Mangaliso is an established businessman, who doesn't do stable relationships only hit and runs😜. The two ends up falling in love and a lot of learning and unlearning each other happens. You know that beautiful love that you can feel in the pages as you read along, that's what they had. The inner me was like hai we can't finish the book without some drama it can't all be roses(i don't know is it being pessimistic or being real I don't know🤷🏾‍♀️) but the author gave us something and left us hanging🤦🏾‍♀️. I hope book 2 is about to the done sithanda idrama.

Easily enjoyed this, Mangi was a definite knight in shining amour but he should let Amandla do things for herself, it’s not a must to want to assert dominance in a relationship through money just to show you are capable as a man.
Overall it was a cute read🤭
