Tattoos…check. Beard…check. Alpha AF…heck yeah! The biggest beast on the mountain is about to break all his rules for the woman he wants.

I'm not who I pretend to be.

In my former life they called me the Beast, rebel, monster. I'll be honest, I earned my brutal monikers the hard way and pocketed billions in the process. But what I'm not is someone's savior.

Now I go by Sawyer Becker. The man who owns the Rust Nail bar.

Then I met her. Trinity Douglas—angel, thief, and my personal hell on Earth.

Wild Ridge Mountain's firecracker barista with the soft lips, prettiest green eyes and the sexiest curves is one temptation no saint or mortal can ignore. She's also a woman with a secret of her own.

They say when two like souls meet for the first time it's the Universe uniting energies. All I know is she's makes a hard man like me want what I can't have.

So far, I've stayed away, but when she slides behind my bar and into my arms, one taste of her sweet lips breaks through my iron-clad self-control. And I take what I want.

She cracks my world wide open and the beast inside me roars to life. I claim every inch of her body and she claims me right back. I only hope my secret past doesn't tear us apart.

Author’s naughty Note: He’s the bearded, secret broody billionaire and she's the sexy temptation who breaks all his rules. This mountain man is about to fall to his knees and you'll love every HOT, naughty minute of it! As always with a Penelope Wylde book, you'll get the filthy, naughty bits you crave with the perfect happily ever after you love.

"706 Sugarbush Lane" is the story of Trinity and Sawyer.

Not for me!

Hero leaves the heroine for many years for her "own good". Returns back to see her working her butt off to make a good life for herself. Ofcourse, instead of appreciating it, decides yes its good time to "claim" her because do her wants matter? No!
Furthermore, the minute someone slut shames her he walks off, but walks back in when he discovers the hymen. The worst of it is him making her choose between her career and him, because now that he is back how could she dream of leaving him?! Not that he disappeared for three years right? She's a doormat.

NO.

This was too short for the story that was trying to be told.

1. Was Birdie fired? And dealt with... slander at the very least?

2. Was Krista told that she was a nasty manipulative bitch? And why did Mac bring her? Did he just want to fuck her?

3. What happened with Trinity's mother? Was she arrested and charged with theft? What did Trinity actually say to her?

4. Why did Trinity have to give up her goals? Why couldn't she have a career and kids?

5. Why is it always the women who are the villains? We met more men in this than women... and the men were all lovely... apparently. Whereas the only woman out the 3 other than Trinity that were had an active role in this were awful apart from his mum.

Pissed me off... which is annoying cos I kind of liked it apart from the above...

WOW!! I couldn't put this one down. I absolutely love it!! This was a nice quick, short read.

Trinity is young and she knows her mothers reputation, she doesn't want to be anything like her, but so thinks everyone does. Trinity's mom takes off on her leaving her in an empty home, no food or furinture. She even takes Trinity's money she's been saving up to go to college. When Sawyer comes back home he meets his brother's at his bar and is shocked when he finds out Trinity is still in town. He pulls her to the back of the bar and talks to her but she ends up getting fired. Sawyer's brother Mack wants to hire Trinity because she's a good worker and it'll help her with school. The next morning when she is working Sawyer shows up again and takes her to the back but this time she tells him he can't get her fired. This time he takes her to her home. He finds out she's been working saving money to go away and plans to do so in a few months. She goes home and packs her things deciding now is the time to leave this town. Sawyer comes and finds her and asks her where she's going. He tells her he wants her to be his even though that will change her plans. When he finally get her to see that no one in town looks at her like she is her mother, she agrees to go home with him. She'll work on getting her online degree and make her jewelry. Three years later they are married and have twin boys. Trinity takes a pregnancy test to see if she is pregnant again, she is. I didn’t think I would like this but oh yes Sawyer made me melt !

Trinity our FMC has had such an awful start in life, her mother being the towns women who will bed anyone in the hope of a husband and money which ended up In her leaving town without her daughter left her with nothing no savings no security no money all why she was about to graduate high school !

Trinity has had to work 2 jobs to keep a roof over her head but also save to live her dream on leaving town to go to school and become a jewellery designer. That was her plan but a huge railroad block in the name of Sawyer Becker was about to stop her in her tracks.

Sawyer was a marine and had left town few years ago and didn’t come back until recently. He had a bar in town the Rusty nail but he wanted to open a business in security with his brothers and friends who served along him.

These two had crossed paths previously but what wasn’t known was that sawyer had already made Trinity his but she needed to be of age before he could do anything to claim his girl. Well Trinity didn’t know this that the man who was the towns hunk who had been the focal point of her fantasies was about to make her his !

After a not so good welcoming and seeing eachother again unfolded these two’s love story is fabulous sexy and undeniably hot !! Yes our marine knows how to make you scream his name non stop !

If you love age gap romance , a broody hunk who is possessive of what is his & small town romance then this is the series for you !

Penelope Wylde's second trip to Cherry Falls (okay, so just outside this time on Wild Ridge Mountain) is as hot, steamy and un-putdownable as her first (202 Cherry Popper Way) and the rest of the books in this sensational multi-author year-long series. Sawyer Becker...Gah! Hot, possessive, overprotective, older ex-military, current security and bar owner. The man has had a thing for Trinity Douglas since her no-good mother dragged her into his bar when she was just seventeen. Knowing she needed a chance to grow up and chase her dreams, he stayed away...until he couldn't any longer. Trinity has spent the last few years fighting the demons left behind by the mother who abandoned her, scrimping and saving for college in Syn City, and trying not to think about Sawyer Becker. But when he returns to town, ready to claim the woman who owns his heart, Trinity has no chance against Mr Sex-on-a-Stick. Sawyer is every woman's bad-boy-with-a-heart-of-gold dream and Trinity is a sassy, sweet heroine you cannot help but root for from the beginning. Together they have burn-down-your-Kindle heat. Another brilliant, entertaining must-have in the exceptional Cherry Falls Romance series!

Bringing the heat to melt all the sugar on Sugarbush Lane

706 Sugarbush Lane by Penelope Wylde is part of the multi-author Cherry Falls Romance series. Let's just say that this book bring more an a little hot and spicy to the sweetness that is Cherry Falls. The story is about Sawyer and Trinity and these two are fantastic together. I will be honest and say that I wanted to knock some sense into Sawyer more than a few times just as my heart broke for Trinity given her history. But once he figures himself out and really goes after the younger Trinity he is all in and not about to turn and run. He is just what Trinity needs, someone who she can depend on, who will love her no matter what happens and who will be there to share the best that life has in store for them. Plus they have some steamy hot passion.

Tough read

Pretty sure this book was never looked at by an editor. Or even self edited for that matter. Terrible grammar and spelling errors. Has to re-read sentences several times to try and decipher what was being said.

Plus, they’re from a small town (NOT Cherry Falls which is where this series is supposed to be set)where everybody knows your business but after three years, no one in Sawyer’s family knew that Trinity was still in town and that her mother left her? Then, later on, she mentions how she sees these people all the time since she works at the bar and diner. So why did Sawyer want to “hire” his own company to find her? It drives me crazy when an author can’t keep up with their own plot lines.

This is another story in the Cherry Falls series. I am really liking how this series just keeps going on with various authors. They bring you into this nice quaint town and these couples are hot as the midsummer sun. This is an age gap story. He has a secret, just as everyone else does. He is a hard, burly man that loves how this woman looks and her feistiness. He knows he can't have her. The problem is does she know they can't be together? Who will be the one to break that barrier that is there that is forbidden between them?

Great book

Trinity was just trying to work and save money so she can leave town and go to college since her mom had ran off with her money 3 years ago.
Sawyer was just coming back home from being away for 3 years he thought trinity would be done with school and ready to have a life with him so he was on a mission to find her not knowing she worked at his bar he owned.
He claimed her and made sure she knew she wasn't going anywhere but home with him he did still let her have her dreams he wasn't that heartless they had twin boys and was pregnant again. They got their happy ever after

He’s Back and She’s Leaving

There’s some senseless shenanigans in this story, like Sawyer not even checking on Trinity, but being ready to launch a “woman-hunt” for her as soon as he lands back in town… similarly, the description isn’t quite in line with the story we got. That said, small town reputations matter, and Trinity doesn’t have the best name in town. Her desire to leave makes sense. Sawyer’s actions, make less sense. The antagonists don’t get any sort of closure, and characters are thrown in left and right without much to do. That said, Trinity’s strength and determination shine as qualities that make the reader root for her happy ending.

There's something about an alpha mountain man that's fiercely protective and unwavering in his love, but secure enough to show his soft, caring side. Ms. Wylde nailed it with Sawyer & Trinity's story. I adored how grumbly and growly Sawyer was, but he never failed to reassure Trinity and ease her mind whenever she needed it. These characters were so perfect for each another. Their chemistry was palpable and the passion was off-the-charts! This was a really sweet story and HEA. Must read!

Loved this but was so mad at Sawyer! Poor Trinity went through so much at a young age on her own. I understand her pushing him away repeatedly after him acting like a jerk at every opportunity when he gets back into town. It took a while before he got his head on right. As with all this author’s stories, there was plenty of heat between these two and we ended up with plenty of angst as well. Loved it!

Changing Plans

Hot, steamy, and dreamy, this story is off the charts sexy and sweet! Sawyer is finally home from his time in the military, ready to settle down in the small town he calls home. Only one thing is missing- his Trinity. And even though she’s younger than him and planning to leave, he pulls out all the stops to claim her and in the process, make both of their dreams come true! So good! Love this story!

I received this as an arc for my honest review

This was a really steamy age gap romance. I had a bit mixed feelings about it, the beginning seemed a bit muddled like some of the story or context was missing but I really liked the end. The chemistry between Sawyer and Trinity was amazing and they were so steamy together, I just wish the start had been a bit clearer.

Loved it 💖💖💖

This short read is part of the Cherry Falls series and is the story Sawyer and Trinity. As with all stories from this author, you get a well developed shorter read with fantastic characters (Alphamales done the right way), great HEAs and completely NSFW scenes. Loved it!!!

WOW

The cover was amazing, I loved having a pretty good mental picture of the couple. Sawyer definitely kept saying the wrong thing or more like saying the wrong way..why she was still in town.. ohh well, they more then figured it out. I’m so glad she got a chance to tell her mother off… Then continued to their HEA

New to me author.

A new to me author and an alpha male who has finally pulled his finger out of his ass and claiming his woman. But there are so many shadows from her past that she is struggling to get past.
Who knew people could be so damn rude, judgey and downright bitchy! My blood pressure rose like a son of a bitch!
But Sawyer has it covered!!!
A really good read!!

For this particular book, it would have been a happier ending if she would have left town to follow her dreams rather than what actually happened. Instead she ends up doing pretty much exactly what she was trying to avoid, losing herself for a man.
