So hot! How does ones e-reader not melt!? Marina and Nate are sizzling they are so hot.
This is Marina's story. The book hangover wasn't any easier with this one then it was with Sinfully Theirs (must read if you haven't) and I can't wait to see what happens with Eddie!
That said...HOT HOT HOT!!!! Can't express that enough. Yes the bedroom is on fire in this book and Marina is a naughty little girl who is in need of a very firm hand! But only one mans hand will do and it belongs to Nate. And I do love a good spanking! Nate is the Dom Marina didn't know she needed. This was explained as specific type of BSDM, Domestic Discipline, so it may not be for everyone. If you like books with Doms and subs then hold on tight, because these two will burn you up!
While Ms. Akeryod sets the bedroom on fire in this book, there is a lot more to Marina's world. She grew up on a genius farm. A place for genius' to live and prosper and she is not just one of them but she is their guardian. However, she hires Nate to take care of the place with her uncle and runs off to New York for reasons I will let you discover for yourself :) But Nate saw something in her, a submissive side that wasn't ready to come out yet. Over time their hook ups in Chicago turn into more. However, Marina is out of control and her actions have serious consequences this time. It's time naughty Marina is handled with a firm hand!!
With Nate's help, Marina discovers a side of herself she needs set free and is unapologetic about it. But there is more going on at the ranch then she was expecting. Even genius's need love and that's no easy road for an average person.

Marina is a successful business woman that most people wouldn't understand. She doesn't take crap and is not a touchy feely person...except for Nate.
Nate works on her family's ranch back home. He's been seeing Marina for years but always has to go to Chicago to see her.
I loved this book so much! It's the second book in the Naughty Nookie series. You don't have to read the first one but I would because that one is great too!
I loved the BDSM elements to this story and how Marina finds herself. She learns many things about herself that she didn't know she needed. Nate... Nate... Nate. Sometimes he irritated the crap outta me but it totally fit his character. He needed to be stern but also show that he cares. He helped Marina but I also think she helped him.
Can't wait to see if Eddie gets a book! 🖤

The second book in the in the Naughty Nookie series and I was so excited to get Marina’s story. This book is so steamy, and Nate is so sexy! As with all Serena’s books, be prepared for twists and turns you never saw coming. She is so good at surprising us with things we could have never anticipated, get ready to be on the edge of your seat! I finished this book in 24 hours, such a page turner. I became so invested in the charters, especially Marina as she discovers who she is and what she has always been. This book does not disappoint, it’s another hot hero and fierce heroine thrown into a world you can’t help but get lost

I love the journey Marina travels to finding what settles her soul, and Nathan is with her...every...step...of the way. The diversity of characters is always what draws me to Serena Akeroyd. They're so vibrant and unique, you'll never find another character similar anywhere else.
And, who knew a commune of geniuses would be filled with such secrets?

First point first, if you love Self Empowering women in books then this the book for you. Marina is the type of woman who pushes the boundaries on society’s norms and crushes them under her heel. I love that Marina is comfortable in her sexuality, and embraces it, it’s vastly different to other books I’ve come across.
Secondly, me and marina had some issues in the first naughty nookie book. But reading it from her perspective, the life she leads and has lead, lead me to kind of soften towards her and end up rooting for her to have her HEA. I love when a series has a group that interlink, it just provides so much more to the story especially with things like this. It gives you the opportunity to understand and change or reaffirm your opinion.
It’s always the little things that sucks me right into a book, it just makes it come to live. Serena Akeroyd has no problem doing this to me with each and every book. I love how it draws upon small subjects, such as the insecurities people have in themselves especially when the compare themselves to their friends who they deem more attractive.
It’s all them little bits that makes this book great.
If you love a dominant MMC, then this is a must read for you. The Steam is off the charts. I was wanting to strangle Nate myself at points then the next second fanning myself and panting over him.
I’m a bit late to reading this, but I loved seeing the cameos and if anything the cameos, just made me strongly dislike a certain cameo even more.
If you love something extra steamy with a twist of uniqueness then this is the book for you!
Definitely recommend!

If this doesn't get you into the story, I don't know what will! Sinfully Mastered is the second book in the Naughty Nookie series, and as the title suggests, there is a Master/Sub relationship for those who want to read bdsm. The first part of the book sets up a lot of this relationship, as Nate and Marina navigate this new aspect of their life. From the first book in the series, you know that Marina is one of Mona's friends, but although they love and support each other, they all have many secrets, especially Marina! Born in a genius commune called Blue Ridge, Marina suffered loss at an early age and left the compound, making a life for herself that's far from her artistic talent and the academic expectations of her community. It was until she ran into some trouble with the Russian mafia that Marina felt it was time to come back home where she belonged. Though Nate works at Blue Ridge as a ranch foreman, he's ingrained and respected by all the members. He's been in a long distance relationship with Marina for the past 5 years, but is eager to bring her back to Montana where she belongs. However, coming back home isn't just an escape for Marina, as she comes back to the ranch only to face a mystery and murder. She finds that Nate has also been keeping secrets from her, but they'll need to work through this to keep Blue Ridge safe. I enjoyed this installment, and hoping for Edwina's story next. I also thought Erick was a super interesting character too and hopes he finds the right person for him!

The second book of the Naughty Nookie Series focuses on the relationship between Marina and Nate. Marina is a successful businesswoman who runs an upscale brothel in NYC. Nate is a former documentarian who now works at the genius farm that Marina's family has been in charge of for decades. Everything is going well for Marina until the Bratva take an interest in her business, so she does what anyone would do she runs, to Nate, who she has been meeting up with in Chicago for years. However, before they can safely make it back to the ranch secrets and lies are revealed and trust is broken. Nate gives Marina an ultimatum we can be together IF you follow my rules. For me this is where the character development really began truly because Marina is a headstrong stubborn woman who thinks she always knows best. Nate is a more logical levelheaded thinker who wants Marina to understand that sometimes you have to let others take the wheel for your own good. In true Serena Akeroyd fashion though the love story is not the only plot at work in this book and that pulls readers into the world of the Genius Ranch. Fans of Serena Akeroyd will find that this book is no exception to her incredible world building and character development, as well as delving into the world of BDSM. Overall another great read from Serena Akeroyd!

Honestly, this book is different in many ways than what Serena normally writes. Don't get me wrong, it's still a love story and still steamy. But the way that Nate and Marina conduct their relationship doesn't always feel right until you realize that everything is consensual between them. Marina can walk away at any point. She has a choice. She doesn't have to be a sub. She doesn't have to live under sub rules. She knows this. So any double standards go under their dom/sub stuff. She agreed to the rules. And Marina is plenty strong enough to be without a man if she so chose to do so. Marina and Nate's relationship is a crazy rollercoaster, and the side plots that happen just take you by surprise. This story takes you on a wild ride and things you don't even see coming. So while this book is different, it's still a great read.

I love Marina. Her spirit, her attitude, her spunk. I love Nate. His domineering personality and his love for Marina. I love their banter. I love their light and shade. I love their relationship. I didn’t love the plot though, which surprises me because I love everything Serena writes. This one was too out there for me and the plot was lacking a bit. I still loved the book because the scenes were HOT...but I needed more backstory, more conflict between the two, more “falling in love” and more fight between them. I understand Marina is submissive...that’s not what I mean. I am just not a fan of instant love and this feel a bit like that to me. There no fight to make their relationship work. I needed it to not be so easy.

I am blown away every time I pick up a book by this author. How she manages to spin together so many characters, plot twists, emotions and sprinkle it all with the spice we love, I’ll never know. But I will always be reading them!
I loved Marina. I this she is one of the most relatable characters I have read and appreciated how genuine she is. She doesn’t just change overnight. She doesn’t cower when sh*t hits the fan. She owns it, and carries on.
Nate was a surprise for me. At the start he seemed (I hate to say it) almost weak. Don’t worry though, you’ll find soon thereafter that he’s anything but!
The concept of this story is really unique and my jaw was on the floor with that ending! Highly recommend this great book!

After reading Mona’s book (Sinfully Theirs) I couldn’t wait to read Marina’s. Marina a Madame, who never told her best friends or lover that she runs a Gentlemen’s Club, is forced to close down and pack up and move to The Ranch after being threatened by the Russian Mob, won’t go into too much detail as it will spoil the storyline, but a very good book as like all of Serena’s are. Suspense, hidden secrets that don’t come out until the end and you don’t see coming through the plot of the book. I just want Eddie’s book now to complete the trio of friends Mona, Marina and Eddie.

Marina story is the second book in the naughty nookie series and boy what a story. Marina is a strong independent women and a very successful business woman. But she is keeping secrets from her friends and Nate the man she has been in a long distance relationship with for the last five years. Marina hole life is about to change will she embrace the changes or run from them.
Marina and Nate relationship is off the Richter scales hot hot hot and I love it Nate opens up a hole new world for Marina and what a world it is BDSM wow

I was slightly hesitant to read this book because BDSM isn’t really my favorite troupe, and especially not when it starts out as a revenge or teaching a lesson situation. I should have known better when it comes to Serena Akeroyd’s works, and that I’d love this book. It’s such a good read - along with being above and beyond steamy, funny, and made me tear up. The author’s characters always feel so real because she writes them with flaws and genuine struggles, so that readers can connect with them and somewhat understand their fictional dilemmas. I loved The leads together and it was a beautiful, if unconventional, love story. I can’t wait for Eddie’s book!

I loved her journey and who she becomes as Marina connects with her long time, on again, off again, boyfriend Nate. She leaves New York and some big secrets behind to head back home to Montana and the peculiar farm she grew up on.
There are so many ups and downs, but Marina finds peace and love as she offers a part of herself that she never knew was always inside of her. Another great story by Serena with all the feels and steam you could want!!

Oooh, this one is a scorcher, it's so steamy!!! Marina is a successful Madam, and she runs her business well. When trouble comes a calling, she returns home, and enter Nate. Nate is a smoking hottie, and also very dominant *wink wink*. When Marina and he come together, it's total fire. This book made me want to be more adventurous and try new things. It's so well done, and such a fun read. I loved everything about it, especially seeing old friends. Serena always stays so true to her stories, with in-depth research, and it always shows. This forey into the Bdsm world was an eye opener for me and I loved it!

I really enjoyed this story of a Madam who ends up in a BDSM relationship with a long-standing casual partner. The love and trust between these two is kind of sweet even if it is a little kinky.
This story had it all... steam, murder, mystery, intrigue and love. I really loved the quirky ranch full of geniuses. I love that the women in these stories are smart and brilliant.
Admittedly, I enjoyed the first book a bit more, but I will read the third book when it comes out... soon? please, Serena Akeroyd??

Marina (the MFC) runs a brothel to high profile clientele. That is until shes faced with no option but to close up shop and move back home except going home is not as easy as it sounds. Marina and Nate have been seeing each other for a long time. Theyre more like friends with benefits. Hes a tie to her old life one that she has no choice but to go back to. Phew good grief this book is smoking hot!! With plenty of sex and some BDSM. Not a problem for me because i loved this book. Loved the power play between the lead characters. Couldnt put this book down. Such a great read

Amazing Read
Serena did it again! I have just started delving into all books Serena Akeroyd and she has not disappointed. The struggle Marina faces trying to deal with who she really is as she navigates, the mafia, a murder mystery and the love she feels for Nate is mindblowing. This book was a real page turner. You will become invested in the not only the plotline but the charecters. This book is part two of a duet but I feel certain it will wind up as part 2 in a trilogy. Don't worry the story is such that there is no cliff hanger.

Wow, Serena Alerpyd has done it again. This book was hot, there was no putting it down until I finished the very last page and then I needed to find something else to read quick. It moves along at a great pace making for a very relaxing book to read. The characters are amazing and you will fall in love with them no matter what they need to do. The story will grab you and keep you interested and reading right up to thee very end and then you are needing more. This is a must read book, no doubt about it.

Wow! This was book 2 in the Naughty Nookie series, Marina and Nates's story. It was very different from many of the BDSM books I've read. The two MC's already had a friendship and several year history of being lovers, so the dom/sub dynamic didn't start until later years. I really enjoyed that element of the story, because there was already a deep connection between the two which I think was necessary to make the new relationship work.
The plot was original, the MC's were unique and the scenes were very hot!
5 stars from me... now bring on Eddie's book!

Wow that wasn't the read that I was expecting. I knew it would be in the delightfully wonderful way that Serena Akeroyd writes but its still took me by surprise. Its very detailed on the relationship between Nate and Marina and turns everything that you expect on its head....from beginning to end I wasn't sure what was going to happen next or where it was going to go but it certainly kept me on my toes. The twists, turns and shocks that you just don't see coming keep this book barrelling towards one of the best I've read. Simply put I just loved it !!!!!

Sooo hot and sooo good. A perfect finally to the Sinfully series. This Marinas story and it does NOT disappoint. The steam coming off the pages between her and Nate is epic and you will definitely need a cold shower! Nate truly is the only who can tame the wildness that is Marina. She’s a strong female lead but she’s definitely in need of man who can curb that wild side and bring out parts of her even she didn’t know were there. But this book is at all dom/sub steam. The storyline that flows through it is amazing and truly catches you by surprise a lot. Definitely a Serena must read!

This book does have elements of BDSM in it but I do recommend it as an excellent read. Serena Akeroyd at her best!

***Spoiler alert*** book was ok up until you find out the Nate LIED to Marina, the whole start of their BDSM relationship is because he’s mad she LIED to him about how she makes her living, but then you find out he’s been lying since they met and the author NEVER addresses this MAJOR plot point, it’s like it doesn’t exist. If you’re going to write a BDSM book, make sure there’s no double standards. Nothing pisses me off more. How disrespectful of the author to her audience. WTF!! You don’t like the characters after that. Awful.

3.5* I found it really tough to get into this one, I’m guessing it’s a combo of S&M and it’s one of Serena’s earlier books. There seemed like a lot of repetition, lots of sex and a really interesting story that just got pushed into the background. It was intriguing, the brothel and the mob. The genius ranch and everything..ugh I wanted to like it. It just wasn’t for me. I couldn’t connect with the characters.

When I finished this book I wasn't sure how to rate. And my problem was not the book. I mean Serena Akeroyd DOES NEVER disappoint. But Nate... That Nate... he gets under your skin. You get upset with him. To the point where you even wish that maybe Marina would pick Erick. This story will take you through a range of emotions. Don't get me wrong, the sexy times are sexy, hot even. And the story is riveting. But that Nate... So naughty he's good!

Great read
Serena Akeroyd always has the best ideas. A ranch genuises, is pretty novel even in the BDSM trope.
I read many of Serena's books and this doesn't disappoint. I think I still enjoyed the first book more, but I will definitely read the 3rd book when it arrives. Now I just need to convince the author that Erick van der Viehl needs his own book. Or even a cameo in the Filthy series.
