This is a gorgeous book about women in the Bible and how they used their talents and strengths to bless, lift, serve, and love. There are bible verses listed after the stories so you can read the accounts there as well. And after each story there is a question asking how we can have more of a strength or grow more of a characteristic to be more like them. Also - these art works are phenomenally gorgeous! Several artists provided illustrations, so there is a good mix and they are all done so well!! Highly, highly recommend!!

These are very short synopsis stories of several of the women in the Bible. The illustrations are done by a few people so they vary in style, but they are all beautiful. The stories are clear and concise. I love the thought question at the end of each story to make it personal.

Marvelous stories. Wonderful illustration. Excellent study guide, too. Since each woman has a scriptural citation, you can read the story, then study the related scriptures. I was delighted by the wide variety of styles of illustrations and stories, too. Twice the same incident is used for two different women (Ruth and Naomi, Jochebed and Miriam). But the tales are so fresh—and from different points of view—one might not notice. I didn't mind in the least. And I didn't remember that Huldah was even named in the Bible, much less the significant role she played.

At the end of the book is room for you to add your name, your picture, and tell the story of your strongest divine characteristic.

Every young woman (and many young men), should read this.

This is one of my recent favorite books, and I don't have any children under 13 in my home! This book tells the stories of 34 women from the Bible, while also sharing attributes that these women exemplified. As women and girls, it can be hard to find ourselves in the scriptures, but this book takes the stories of women from the Bible and helps us to see how we can be like them!

We are all divine daughters of Heavenly Parents, and the authors and artists of this book have helped to illustrate this. There is even a section for the owner of the book to include their own story!

If you have a young girl or even a young woman in your life for whom you need to buy a gift, seriously grab this book! It will be treasured! (This would be a perfect baptism gift for any girl in your life!)

Stories of women in the Bible. AMAZING summaries/telling of these biblical stories. They are so real and relatable. Questions after each story as to how you can be like that woman. Love love love!

There is a picture for each woman’s story and they are all unique by several different artists and varying styles.

My preteen daughter loves these stories, too.

Beautiful depictions of thirty four women from the Bible. Loved the illustrations from eight different artists. A very simple yet elegant book.
I loved learning about some of the more obscure women like Puah and Shiphrah, two Hebrew midwives who defied the King of Egypt and would not kill the Hebrew male babies.
Great questions at the end of each story like "How can you be more receptive to God, the Holy Ghost and others?"
Wonderful book not only for teen girls but anyone interested in reading short Bible stories of some great women.

Gorgeous! Each story of a Biblical woman focuses on the divine attribute that she exhibited, and challenges the reader to think of ways to show that quality herself. Beautiful pictures, sweet and simple stories, absolutely loved it.
