This book was received as an ARC from Quarto Group - Quarry Books in exchange for an honest review. Opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own.

I loved Sara and Hero's act on America's Got Talent. I remember thinking what a wonderful thing it is how strong the bond has developed and how he was able to take to every command and perform these spectacular tricks. Had my dog been still alive, I would have totally tried a lot of these tricks and it would have been a show in itself to train my dog with these tricks. The best part was that Sara was very positive about the experience and the language she used was very easy to understand while being warm and inviting. Dogs are a huge part of our community and I know they will love this book.

We will consider adding this title to our Non-Fiction collection at our library. That is why we give this book 5 stars.

Thank you to Net Galley and Quarto Publishing Group for an e-ARC of this title in exchange for my honest review. We loved watching Sara on Amerca's Got Talent, and even more, loved the story of training her rescue dogs. We have a dog training business, and this was a bit of fun to add some fun tricks to our own dog's life. When this is published, I plan to get a hard copy for my granddaughter. Highly recommend.

A fun supplement to a behavior training program! These tricks will be a lot of fun to learn with my dog.

I suggest this book for a thorough behavior/socialization/training foundation: https://www.amazon.com/Puppy-Start-Ri...

It's a very basic book on teaching tricks. I would of liked to have seen the layout done better where the preliminary trick you need to work on the more advanced one was put first. In example one of the first tricks in the book is teaching "wave" with your dog needing to know how to shake first but shake is several chapters down the road. Overall it was a good intro to tricks and the pictures are really nice.

This book serves as a great resource regardless of where you are in your dog’s training journey. Unless you are a professional dog trainer, I think any reader who trains their dog for the sake of strengthening your relationship with your dog, providing a cognitive challenge for your dog, and teaching your dog some impressive party tricks, will find value in this book. If you are looking for an obedience training book, I would look elsewhere for a more comprehensive and targeted book as that is definitely not the main objective of this book.

The layout made perfect sense with all tricks being broken down into category based on difficulty level. Each trick has ample pictures as well as a step by step description to follow as well as trouble shooting tips. I found the format easy to follow and it has definitely given me a lot of tools for strengthening my relationship with my dog and providing a cognitive challenge for him. I definitely recommend this book for anyone looking to train their dog to do some cool tricks.
