This clean romance was ok. Writing felt a little stilted. I didn't feel like the weight of the big secret was enough for the drama. The time factor seemed a little crazy too, 10 years?? WTF??!! Also no idea how they made it work living in 2 different states.

Such a wonderful read…set in a familiar RI setting I was guessing and hoping till the end! Looking forward to reading Audrey’s next book about the McKay sisters!

I was excited t read this book by Audrey. As I said previously I've been a long-time fan of hers via social media and her blog so I knew she had a talent for writing. What I didn't expect was how much I was going to love this book.
Samatha is a successful fashion designer who has made a career for herself outside her small-town roots. She is someone who people look up to. When she returns home for her sister's wedding she must face the heartbreak of her past.
Colin has regretted his decision for the past 10 years and seeing Samatha doesn't make it easier. He hopes telling her the truth will bring forgiveness but he isn't so sure.
What I loved most about this book was its small-town setting and people. I loved that Audrey gave us a story that felt real. I felt like these were characters I may know in real life having grown up in a small town. The storyline was believable, heartbreaking, and heartwarming. It had everything I wanted and more.
I devoured the ebook in one day and it was so good. It is definitely on my must-read list for anyone who enjoys a good clean small-town romance book.

This was my first read by Audrey McClelland and it won’t be my last! This book sucked in me in right away, I couldn’t put it down. It was a one sit read for me. If you like romances that are clean make sure to check this book out. It was a great start to a new series. This one was a bit of a slow burn. There was no long drawn out unnecessary drama. I wasn’t ready for this one to end! I wanted more of Colin and Sam! I am excited to start the next book! I would recommend this book!

I’m a sucker for small-town, second-chance romances, and this one had all the cozy charm I was hoping for. The setting really gave me that hometown comfort vibe, and I liked the idea of two people finding their way back to each other.
That said, it was a little predictable at times, and I wanted more depth in the emotional moments. Still, it was a nice, light read that scratched the small-town romance itch.

I found this story to be very boring. I couldn’t get into the characters at all. And there really was no big secret Wouldn’t recommend it

This was a sweet romance set in small town Rhode Island. Perfect for fans of a happily every after summer novel.
