I love Wanda Brunstetter's books. I was especially interested because these books were set in Pennsylvania, my home state.

Book 1 Wanda Hostetler and Israel Zook have been courting. When Israel's sister dies, he brings home his 5 nephews to live with him. He asks Wanda to watch over the boys while he is at work. The boys put up a big fuss and do not want to listen to Wanda. Each day Wanda tries to win over these boys, but they do not want Wanda in their lives. Then one day, things changed and Wanda began to love these boys like they were her own. This was a sweet Amish romance.

Book 2 Martha Yoder doesn't think any man will want to court her because she is a tomboy and likes to hunt and fish and enjoy the outdoors. Glen Swarey is very attracted to Martha. The only thing that is keeping them apart is that Glen wants to be a fireman and leave the Amish ways behind. This was another sweet Amish romance.

Book 3 Alma Wengerd is not married very long when her husband dies. She decides to leave Kentucky and temporarily live with friends in Pennsylvania. Alma is very headstrong and likes to organize her friend's household. This causes some difficulties in their friendship. Alma is struggling with grief and it really stresses her out. A childhood friend by the name of Elias Kurtz has never forgotten Alma and wants more than friendship. It is very difficult for Alma to accept his love. This is another great Amish romance.

I like the fact that Wanda Brunstetter's daughter-in-law and granddaughter are also writing Amish fiction.

At the end of each story are recipes that you will want to try.
