If this book was not on my Book Club's list, I possibly would not have read it. However I am glad I did.
Chloe was very passionate and enthusiastic in her approach to veterinary work. She was brave to visit other countries to learn about and treat the native wildlife - something I could never consider.
She tells how she dealt with large and small, wild and friendly, scary and cute animals with a humorous vein.
The book is written very simply, and I suspect this was deliberate to make it accessible to a wide audience. She really wanted to promote the need for us all to care for our natural environment. She truly agreed with the Aboriginal idea of us being custodians, and the fact that there are always connections and if one is disturbed, there can be massive impacts on others.
Very enjoyable.
