I so needed this story. I've been reading some intense books lately. It was great to have an easy read.
This book is a cute, laid back, steamy friends to lovers type read. I adored Declan's and Harley's friendship. He was always there for her no matter what. I loved the funny banter and flirting. Oh man, the things that came out of Declan's mouth! Swoon worthy for sure.
Harley is a plus size woman. She's very insecure about it. We live in a world where some people think beauty only comes in a smaller size. That is ridiculous and not true at all. Women are beautiful no matter what size they are.
Harley let the negative opinions of others affect her. She's so strong but a person can only take so much, right?! But as I continued reading this book, I began to see a different Harley. She was starting to accept herself, become more confident. Declan was a huge part of that.
This book was all about friendships, relationships, self love and a hot af baecation! Btw, Declan is definitely going on my book bf list. 🙌

Harley & Declan
Harley is a fashion blogger and influencer. She starts off using dating apps and just fails at them with the guys being absolute jerks.
Declan is Harley’s best friend and always looking out for her. He’s protective and obsessive and completely infatuated with her but she always thinks his compliments are a joke or him being a friend.
Harley has a trip scheduled with two girlfriends who want to bring their boyfriends and she invited Declan as her “boyfriend” to not be left out. However he is all in on it and uses the opportunity to show her what she truly means to him.
It’s adorable the way you see their friendship and relationship bloom. The opportunity was perfect timing and what they both needed.
I do have to say this book moved too quickly for me. It was short but for me I wanted a lot more details to all the events and their lives.

When Harley needs a fake boyfriend for her girls trip her best friend Declan who has always been in love with her is all too happy to step in and help.
This was an okay read. I actually like both MCs. They were so sweet and cute. Every time someone out Harley form because of her weight I felt so bad that she would second guess herself. I loved that once Declan got his chance he went for it.
The reason I can’t rate this higher is because it needed more detail or depth. If this story was longer I think we would’ve gotten that. I also wanted more of a description of the characters, we got some but not enough for me to really visualize them outside of their body types.
Overall if you just need a light, quick read give this one a look.

Nice try, but…
I really wanted to like this book and give it a chance, but unfortunately I skipped through most of it ( which is bad since there are only 112 pages). There were way too many grammatical errors and it’s in serious need of an editor. It made the book hard to read.
