Private Dining
When the build up to steamy times is well done, my whole body reacts. That is exactly what happened while reading Cal and Isabelle's short story. That sweet date, the sensual blending of bodies, and the sweet somethings that were whispered post-coital. 😍💚🔥💚🌟
I love these little pops of sweet and heat that come out almost every Friday. It gives me something to look forward to all week and a great start to the weekend!

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Isabelle thought working at the restaurant Chez Alarie was going to be a walk in the park after all she was barista whilst working her way through college. She couldn’t have been more wrong especially when two of the waitresses have decided to make her the butt of the joke. The highlight has been meeting the head chef Cal and when he asks her out she agrees thinking that he was just trying to help her fit in but the way he looks at her gives her hope for something more, could he really be interested in her?
Cal is head chef at Chez Alarie, he arrives early everyday wanting everything in its place for when the rest of the staff arrive. Checking in the office he sees a note from the owner Henri advising him of a new waitress Isabelle and to keep an eye on her knowing what the other waiting on staff are like with new staff. Getting back to work he completely forgets about the new waiters until he hears a commotion. It’s then that he spots her, transfixed by her he knows he’s in trouble because what he has been missing in his life has just arrived and he isn’t planning on her leaving. Will he get the chance with the woman of his dreams or will the other waitresses run her off? Either way he’s planning to chase.
Mona Zaftig would be anyone’s idol with her matchmaking skills, these are such fun and quick reads perfect for a lunch hour or quick soak in the bath. This was an enjoyable read and I’m already looking forward to the next 4* adventure in love.

Another sweet romance in the Zaftig Dating series. The author once again brings an insta love with strong characters in Cal and Isabelle. They have an instant connection and hot chemistry. The story moves quickly and smoothly with vividly painted scenes and is a great short story.

Cal and Isabelle's Story . . .
This is a story from an absolutely wonderful series I never tire of reading. The books are short but pack so much into them! The premise of the stories is that sometimes Fate needs a little help getting deserving people together. We are taken into the files of the Zaftig Dating Agency, where alpha men find the women of their dreams! This series gives the reader stories about all kinds of different people and topics, and you will love the people you meet here.
Cal Lewis is a 42-year-old head chef at Chez Alarie who has been referred to the Zaftig Agency by his boss, Henri Allard. Henri says that Cal has lost his zest for life for some reason and it’s affecting his job as well. The woman selected for him to meet is Isabelle Hebert, a 28-year-old waitress who is new in town and looking for a job. Henri hired her and is assigning her to Chez Alarie, which is where she will meet Cal.
The restaurant is beautiful with the sun shining in the front windows and real ivy growing around the ceiling and corners of the wall. The lighting makes it seem as if you were sitting at a table back in Italy. Since they handle lunch and dinner, Cal is in early to get started with preparations. Structure and routine has always helped him live his life comfortably, but lately something is missing. He feels distracted, even to the point of leaving out an ingredient in a recipe now and then. And casual romantic hookups recommended by the other cooks don’t interest him.
When Cal hears Claire, the oldest of the services, grumbling, he remembers that Isabelle is starting today. He peeks out of the kitchen and sees the gorgeous young woman being taught to make the espresso exactly as Claire demands it. When Claire gets a customer, Cal says he will show Isabelle how to make it just like Claire does. Isabelle, who was a former barista, appreciated the rescue and they had a few chuckles as he showed her what to do. Claire, Fiona and Lanie are nothing like the waitresses Isabelle used to work with at the coffee shop who worked together as a team. These ladies seem like they don’t want her there. Then then send her to find a left-handed peeler and Cal is furious when he finds out because there is no such thing and they are just hazing her.
Cal invites Isabelle out to dinner to a very small place run by a friend of his. The food is amazing and they both enjoy themselves. She clearly speaks her mind and Cal finds it refreshing. With Gus not making desserts, Cal asks her back to his place where he made baklava the previous night. Without hesitation, she accepted. Isabelle’s mom had told her how she always knew her husband was the one for her. You just know. And Isabelle has already decided that Cal is the one for her, everything she has always dreamed of. And when they finally become intimate, she sees the look in his eyes, just like her dad looks at her mom, and she’s not embarrassed. And he tells her he wants more of her in his life – every day, if she’ll give it. Are they ready for the HEA they both recognized?
I never get tired of these books! Has Mona’s match brought another couple happiness and love? This one was almost too easy! Their story will bring a smile to the reader’s face, so grab your copy and see what the future holds for them! And be sure to read the Epilogue to see if this match was a good one!

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
By the time you’ve figured out who is who and how deep hate can run, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
(Believe me when I say you won’t put it down until the last page is read…you will find yourself getting upset cause someone called, texted or bothered you while reading this one, you will find yourself up at ungodly hours just to finish it knowing you have to be at work early (like 3am early) the very next day) YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
Another Zaftig down on the books sexy as all get out Cal hear chef at one of popular restaurants meets Isabelle knew to town looking for a job to lay her over until she can get hired working in her field. Henri has noticed that Cal has lost his zest for life and that includes with his cooking. Mona decides that Isabelle is the perfect match for Cal and luckily for her Isabelle has recently moved to town and is looking for a job as a waitress. So it only makes sense that Henri hires Isabelle as his newest waitress and then asks Cal to look out for her on her first day at work, as the other waitresses have a reputation of not being so welcoming. As soon as Cal spots the beautiful younger woman he cannot take his eyes off her and is more than happy to help her out in any way he can. When Isabelle meets Cal she is intrigued by the handsome and sexy older man who is so kind and sticks up for her more than once that day. When he asks if he can take her for a late dinner that night she of course accepts, thinking he is just being kind. Little does she realize that he is infatuated by her but over a couple bottles of wine and a wonderful dinner they get to know each other. Then there is dessert back at his place which finds them enjoying more than some fresh coffee and baklava.
This is another cute and sexy short story about a wonderful match by Mona Zaftig and her agency. I enjoyed the story and the characters a lot.

This is book number 56 in the Zaftig Dating Agency series and is about Cal and Isabelle. Cal is a chef at Chez Alarie and Isabelle is the new waitress hired at the restaurant. Isabelle is having a difficult time transitioning in with the main server and how she likes to have things done and Cal decides to take over and show her how to work the espresso machine. Cal is immediately taken with Isabelle. The servers at the restaurant don't care for Isabelle and go out of their way to make her feel inadequate there. Cal isn't having it though and stands up for Isabelle. Cal asks Isabelle if he can take her out for dinner after his shift is done and she of course says yes and the rest is history. I loved how sweet and protective Cal was and how he was everything Isabelle had been looking for in a man. I definitely recommend this book and cannot wait for the next ones in the series!

This is book 56 in the entertaining Zaftig Dating Series that features a couple unaware that fate has a helping hand! Cal is a head chef and Isabelle has just been hired as a waitress at the same restaurant. It's insta-love for Cal when he sees her for the first time. What can he do to keep a smile on her face? Isabelle endures the hazing of the other staff members because she needs the job. The handsome chef that sticks up for her is a nice perk! When he asks her out is he just being nice or is it something more? I like the dual POV, the plot, Cal's protectiveness, their conversation and chemistry. Short, sweet with heat entertainment with a satisfying epilogue!

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the 56th book in the Zaftig Dating Agency series. In this book, Cal is a chef and never dates anyone at the restaurant. Isabelle is a new waitress and Cal is instantly stuck by her beauty. When Isabelle is hazed by the other staff, Cal steps in and puts a stop to it. Cal asks Isabelle if she will go to dinner with him later that night and she thinks he is just being nice to her because of her being hazed. Cal wants to be with Isabelle and he soon makes his intentions knows to Isabelle and she is very agreeable. I love how Mona sets up the couples to have an instant love. Cal was a great guy who wanted something real and he knew that Isabelle was the one. Another great one in this series.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Boiling point is the latest release in the ‘’zaftig dating agency’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Cal is the head chef at a successful restaurant. When Isabella starts working there, he instantly wants her.
The chemistry between Cal and Isabelle is clear to see and I liked them together.
I wasn’t a fan of Lanie, Fiona and the others that were horrible to Isabelle.
I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

This is a great little read about instant attraction, instant love on the part of Cal.Cal is the head chef and when he sees Isabelle who is the new server he is instantly smitten. He introduces himself and he tells her to come to him if she has any problems. He let’s her know that there are some workers which will create problems. Isabelle thinks Cal is hot! She is very attracted to him. It is a cute little romance about two people who’s attraction brings them a newfound love. It is sweet, heartwarming, feel-good romance. I love this series and how the Zaftig dating agency works their magic!

Cal, a chef in a busy Italian restaurant, is a gentleman who also happens to be easy on the eyes and wears his heart on his muscle-strained sleeve. He is immediately and profoundly affected when he meets Isabelle, the lovely and much younger new server at work. Their connection is instantaneous and steamy, and their interactions are adorably relatable and genuine. Fox never cheats us out of good storyline development despite the brevity of the story, and these instalove shorts are so much feel-good fun!

Cal a chef at the local Italian restaurant, but lately he been unfocused and feels like something is missing, until a new server was hired.
Isabelle left her job as a barista to make more money until she fines a job in her field. Of course the other servers like to pick on the new worker but Cal came to Isabelle rescue, he even asked her out for dinner after work. After spending an evening together, they both realized that they have the same thing in common about life, love, and happy ever after.

This story gets four stars because it has one of the best written, most detailed steamy scenes I've read in a long time and I read a lot of these. Other than that, it's an instalove story, a little lacking in plot substance though okay. I really enjoyed sweet, yet confident Isabelle. Cal I never got into quite as much, maybe because the chapters in his POV weren't quite as detailed.
This is a long-standing series and I would definitely read more by the author. Good to spend a half hour with, available on Kindle Unlimited.

Cal is a chef that is looking for something more, but is too busy to find it! His friend decides to contact Mona Zaftig from the Zaftig Dating Agency to help him! She has the perfect woman in mind! Isabella who is starting as a waitress at the restaurant he works for! Isabella is instantly attracted to gorgeous Cal, but there’s no way he would be interested in a curvy girl like her! Only Cal falls for her instantly and is going to make her his! Another great book in the series!

Cal is the chef - Isabelle is a barista turned server. It's instant attraction for both of them. But her co-workers are making her miserable, with their lack of teamwork and general bitchiness. I love how Cal stands up for her when they gang up on her. It's a short trip to their happy ending, all thanks to Mona and her terrific matchmaking abilities. I'm so impressed that they author keeps coming up with a new and different story nearly every week, one of the reasons she remains a favorite. There is only so much temptation a person can take before they reach their point, for Cal it was when Isabelle started working with him and he was around her and her curves all the time. Another win for the Zaftig Dating Agency! The recipe for these books just works. They are the perfect lunch-break length, there isn’t any cheating, no cliffhangers and they are crammed full of instalove and “boiling point” (wink, wink lol) moments. And these two are particularly adorable. The only question I had was what was Isabelle’s degree in and why didn’t she ever pursue a career in her field?

I loved this quick and steamy addition to the Zaftig dating agency books. Cal and Isabelle are perfect together. Cal is the head chef at an Italian restaurant, Isabella is a new server. Their attraction is instant, Cal steps in to help her a few times, which surprises everyone, he never dates or shows interest in the other female employees. Jealous servers, hazing from other staff, and a difficult supervisor don’t run her off because Cal steps in. He asks her out to a special place where chefs go to eat, they enjoy their date so much that they go to his place after for dessert. Which leads to sexy times. Epilogue with them getting married.

This is a Zaftig Dating Agency love story for Isabelle and Cal. I loved this book. I can not believe the way the two co-workers acted to Isabelle. I loved how shy Cal was when he first meets Isabelle and how these two just fit together like the perfect puzzle.

Zaftig really knows what they are doing, Cal is a head chef and Isabelle is just starting there as a new server and when they meet, its fireworks. They go on a date and the rest if history. Love these short stories that can be read independently. Great author and epilogue.

I liked this short, sexy, sweet romance. Cal is chef at Chez Alarie. Isabelle starts as a server and is being bullied, hazed and picked on by Claire, Fiona, and Lanie. Cal sticks up for her and asks her out to dinner. She says yes and their romance starts there. I wish this had been a bit more in depth, with them getting to know each other more, but I still liked it!

Really cute and romantic love story. Two people who were looking for the real thing find it. It’s insta-relationship and all the good feels one is looking for. There’s just enough drama to add interest but does not detract from the storyline.

Being a server has its ups and downs. Especially when staff has been there and like to haze the new workers. It’s a good thing Cal is there with this matchmaking adventure: Isabell seem to be on the right page. OK dinner might be an order to have their pallets make the right choice. No cliffhanger

The Zaftig Dating Agency has done it again. Cal and Isabelle are my favorite characters and loved the chemistry that was between them. It was a great story between two who thought they would never find there one. I loved it!

Cal is an older guy who's head chef at this restaurant. Isabelle has her first day there as a waitress. In between catty coworkers and lunch rushes they make a date. It's love! Cal needed more confidence and Isabelle doesn't deserve the treatment she gets from the waitresses.
