Rate this book
Journey from the warm, West Coast of South Africa to the cooler English shores of Norfolk with the intriguing and heartwarming small-town stories in this limited edition Mother's Day celebration boxed set and discover that a mother's love knows no bounds. ONE CHRISTMAS WISH Can one start over by disappearing? With a change of identity for both herself and her infant son, Delaney and Aidan Jamison flee a bad situation to start a new life far away from everything they love. Soon, they settle into a relaxed lifestyle in a small town on the western coast of South Africa. Well, as relaxed as Delaney can be while looking over her shoulder every day. Then came those fanciful wishes made on a shooting star with her kind—and handsome—neighbor that first Christmas Eve. And everything changed. Again. IN AN ENGLISH VINTAGE GARDEN An unexpected inheritance unlocks secrets from the past. Jack Lancaster. A name Ellen Oakley has never heard before, and yet the old man has left Ellen an English seaside cottage in his will. It's been a catastrophic year. Ellen has suffered through a broken engagement, the sudden death of her father, and the loss of her job. Only one person stands in the way of Ellen flying to England to claim her inheritance and make a fresh start. Her mother. It takes some convincing, but Ellen manages to get her mom to agree to accompany her to England for a time. As the quaint English cottage on the Norfolk shores offers up its ghosts and skeletons in the closet, one woman finds closure, the other a new beginning.

One Christmas Wish is a very short story, but with some very sweet parts in it. Little Aidan is so cute and the next door neighbour, Lucas, is also very appealing, and is out to win Delaney's heart during the Christmas holidays. A cute story. I wasn't thrilled with one of Delaney's secret wishes, but at the end, her heart was in the right place. I would give this book a 4 for getting an interesting story in so short a space.

In an English Vintage Garden is a delightful story with lots of happy surprises. I want to walk on the beaches of this quaint little English town and stay in the delightful cottage that was the focus of much of this story.

Doug, gentle like flowers’ fragrance floating on the evening air

While charming these stories are more complex They have darker scents , deeper , harder stories Well mixed with humor, prayer and compassion
The truth is handled tenderly and the characters are rich personalities. Spend the afternoon or evening with them the only dissociation as with most good stories is that it’s over, as is like to know more about their lives Thanks Marian

Relax in the beauty of the garden

Love the vivid descriptions of the scenery in this story. You could smell the fragrant flowers, the salty fresh ocean breeze, the sweet smell of scones and warm tea, even the musty smell of an older man's home. A delightful English tale of lost love and newfound beginnings.
