Seth just wants to get the meeting with Eloise, from the audit department, over and done with because she’s been a pain for weeks asking for information about his department. One look at her though has him tongue tied and off kilter. Eloise is struck by Seth and his work ethic and his hot body. Too bad there’s a no fraternizing policy at work. A great over the top instant attraction story about two co- workers. Eloise is an intelligent beautiful woman who works hard and knows what she wants. Seth is not looking for a relationship but one look at Eloise he realizes what he’s been missing. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Seth is the first book in the Romancing the Workplace series. This is a mix of slow-build and then instant fire romance between Seth Williams and Eloise Baker. They work for the same company, Apex Engineering but have never net. Seth is the Quality Manager at the North Park Chemical plant and she is an auditor at head office. Eloise and Seth have been corresponding by email for a couple of weeks as she is auditing the processes and procedures at the plant. Let's just say that she is exact and it is driving him crazy. So when she tells him she wants to come to the plant to take a tour and oversee a calibration test Seth is ready to explode. Well he is going to explode all right but for a very different reason once they meet for the first time. Let's just call it insta-love with a lot of friction leading up to it.
This is a short and fun workplace romance. Both Eloise and Seth are likeable and then add in his coworker and friend Diego and her coworker and friend Ming and you get even more laughs.

In the first novella in her Romancing the Workplace series, Ava Pearl's Seth is a steamy instalove. Seth and Eloise haven't gotten off to the best start, with the email exchanges between the Quality Manager at a chemical plant and one of its auditors becoming charged over several weeks. When Eloise announces an on-site audit, Seth is expecting anything but the curvy goddess when she arrives. In person, they both click and quickly move past the tension that had precipitated her visit. Seth and Eloise have wonderful chemistry and both are interesting and engaging characters. This is a fun, quick read to kick off a new series.

This is the first book in the Romancing the Workplace series. In this book, Seth is being audited by Eloise for the chemical company they work for. Seth expects Eloise to be an older lady that is out to get him, but when they meet, he is struck by how much he is attracted to her. Eloise likes Seth, but she thinks he couldn't be interested in her, so when Diego suggests they all go for a drink, she flirts with Seth and soon they are both convinced the other is interested in continuing the night. I really liked this book, i like that Eloise decided to stop things before they got too far and that Seth was still interested in her. Good one.

A Good, Quick, Short Read
This is a good book to read if you're looking for something to read while on a lunch break, before bed, etc.
I wish there had been a bit more flirting. I feel as if I spent too much time reading about them being aggravated with each other than I did reading about their building relationship, so when it happened, it felt kind of forced and mostly focused on the physical aspect of it all.
Otherwise, good read if you're looking for something similar to erotica.

The author has given us a face paced story that pulls you into the lives of Seth and Eloise and never lets go. They work in different areas of the same company with each focused on climbing the corporate ladder. When she is responsible for auditing his department, they end up sending combative emails to each other. When they finally meet, their lives will never be the same.

A very good story :)
Seth was driven by work, planning on getting ahead. Eloise was an inspector for his company to ensure everything was in compliance and give suggestions for improvement. They weren't impressed with each other prior to meeting. Once they met, things changed. They found they had a lot in common. Read the book to see what happens. It's a good book. :)

lovely short story .. never had they thought that they would be such a. hemie would have .. I enjoyed it .. nice story reads away. from me 4 stars
