Ugh this was so good and ended my trashy romance spiral. I loved how the relationships developed and I loved being able to feel like I was reading a manga without having to put aside hours to read one.
DNF. Sorry but the banter sounded so forced and the "plucky" action of the female MC were such at odds with her other characterization, many times between paragraph, that it looked schyzoprenic. But it was mostly the banter. Is she like 14? Didn't she already had a boyfriend? And wasn't the guy already married and with a child? They act like preteens who are barely out of the "cooties" phase.
