I'm a 32-year-old defenseman for the Boston Bay Vikings ice hockey team, and I have no right to look at the boss's daughter the way I do. Riley Peters is a lovely 18-year-old with a bright future ahead of her, but for some reason, she has decided that future includes me. I've kept her at arm's length for the past twelve months. Unless you count the two occasions when I got between her and her dates. Or the time she decided it would be a good idea to call me while drunk and say the filthiest things that I still can't get out of my head. Then she came to Vegas with her father for a game, and things became even more complicated.
Riley
After one of our arguments, my father often mutters to himself, "Stubborn as a mule." What he doesn't realize is that I'm just as obstinate as he is. When I want something, I go after it with zeal and determination. Unfortunately, what I want, or rather, who I want, will not cooperate. I fell hook, line, and sinker for a sexy hockey player who pretends not to be interested. I'm well aware of how intrigued he is, especially after what happened in Vegas.
Ethan believes that what happened in Vegas should remain in Vegas, but I have a very different opinion, and Ethan Lewis is about to find that out!

This series is getting better
I enjoyed Ethan and Riley story. It had a little more meat to their story. I liked the little suspense but I hope Sutton’s story is better.

I love Ethan and Riley,they're just soo good and soo perfect for each other! Such a steamy and beautiful love story! Soo soo good and soo soo H.O.T🔥🔥 I absolutly loved it soo much!😍❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🥰

This series just keeps getting better!! Now, I highly recommend that you read the first two before reading this. If you want to full on push and pull between Riley and Ethan than you truly need to start at the beginning.
For those not in the now, Riley is Wyatt's daughter, Wyatt happens to be Ethan's boss!! Complicated?! You ain't seen nothing yet!!!
Throw in an attraction that burns like a meteor and a slightly unhinged character (won't say more, no spoilers!!). And you are in for a bumpy ride! Buckle up Buttercup!!
Add in the usual heart dropping moments that this author is so bloody good at and you won't stop turning the pages!! I didn't!!
Go! Add this to your tbr right now!! Me?! Well I am waiting for the next book in this series, which I think is going to be a doozy too!!

This is the third story in the Boston Bay Vikings Series, and it's my least favourite of the three as not only did I not feel the age gap romance (a trope I'm not hugely fond off anyway) But I didn't really like the two main characters, particularly Ethan, who gets extremely frustrated when he is given an ultimatum to step up with Riley even though that's what he was planning to do. Yet, the story was easy to read and as usual there was plenty of heat. As well as a stalker that added an interesting element to the story.

I was thrilled to see this couple start off with a bang and leave the unnecessary drama in the past. This Ethan got weird. I could not for the life of me understand why he was being so grumpy about being 'forced' to do what he had already done voluntarily. It was obnoxious. I'm glad one character ended up being harmless and I look forward to seeing their other side in the next book.
