The most moving book on Irish history that I have ver read. How mightily far we have fallen in Ireland. Every single Catholic in Ireland should read this book.

Very detailed history of Irish Catholic persecution-the part where the brother sacrifices himself for the priest to live for the people was crazy touching-but made me sad because Ireland today is so spiritually dry and takes their faith for granted. We need a stirring of St Patrick around here! But I have hope because Jesus told the monk in In Sinu Jesu that priests of Ireland need to go to Knock and beg graces there- He is not done with them yet!
