I know what you thinking how can she give 5 stars when the book hasn’t even been published.
If you have read any other book by miss Edwards you will know why.
Just read it’s going to be out soon and I can’t wait.
10 October and yesssssss I’m ready to go into my favourite personal lockdown.
I’m privileged and grateful to receive an ARC 🙏🏼
Omfg I absolutely love the book and I’m only 40% in.
I love Dylan ...... I don’t know he is just the good kind of an asshole.
Well you know what I mean, he is grumpy, sweet, fun, bad, sexy with an attitude.
Cassy is a confident, sexy, sweet, bad, sassy with an attitude.
I’ve found nirvana!

I’m so lost for words, it hurts. How???
I think it’s amazing how Dawn wrote a great storyline most of it within the four walls of an appartement.
There is no way of hiding in storylines of other people.
And again I came to the most awkward part of the book, THE END.
It always comes as a massive surprise to me.
Also this time I could have done with another 20 chapters or so.
I love it and if could I would give 11 ⭐️

Lockdown Lust is book 2 in The Bookword Beauties series. Cassy and Dylan story is one that holds your heart within the pages. A story with a uniqueness you just don’t expect. Two people thrown together unexpectedly have a connection and chemistry that burns deep below the surface. As the world falls apart and past tragedies haunt Dylan it will have you unsure if these two can turn lust into love. An inspirational story filled with passion, drama and plenty of emotions.

I thoughly enjoyed reading about these characters.
Cassy Beard and Dylan Voss.
Cassy, a confident sassy author, who after battling and surviving her health issues finds herself alone stranded in another country and is also about to be tossed out of her current rental accommodation. Her career is finally taking off, book events tours and promoting her next book then she finds herself unable to return home to Australia. With nowhere to go she refuses to leave the appartment defending her lease isn't up.
Dylan Voss a arrogant actor who can't believe that this has happened to him. Returning to his London appartment can't believe this wowan won't leave. His only safe haven in his crazy life. When he learns she really has nowhere else to go he finally agrees to her staying until she can get a flight back to Australia.
I loved reading about the connection between them. The broody actor who has his own demons to conquer. Dylan craves peace away from the paparazzi that follow him constantly. All he wanted was to get back to his appartment and relax.
Cassy the stubborn confident yet somewhat at times insecure author, who not only voices her opinions finds herself and her strengths.
Such a beautifully written storyline.

I read this book not once...
I read this book not twice...
I read this book thrice!
Once because I felt Dylan was a douche. Second because I felt that Cassy was being unreasonable. And third because why not? Their love story was so beautiful.
I have to say I was not expecting what I received from the beautiful Dawn Edwards. This story captivated me from the minute the brooding hunk Dylan Voss entered the scene and demanding that the lovely Cassy leave his home. Gosh, what an asshat, right? Well, yeah... No, not so much.
I swear the stars aligned for this one. A match made in the waves. Having things in common is what makes love so special, but fighting for your love is what makes it priceless. There is no amount of money that could buy unfinished business or a seamless love. This story made me crave a love so unconditional and forgiving. A love that is kind and beautiful.
I think the only sad part was not finding out the twins names! Oh, and the suspense of finding out who Mylie is. I look forward to the next read. Thank you Dawn for writing a love that is so kind.

Cassy and Dylan's story was everything and more.
Dawn has away with her words that have you hook line and sinker.
Cassy was having to leave the air bnb she was staying at due to Dylan returning from the set he was filming at and the spread of a un known virus affecting the whole world.
Cassy had been sick and her immune system wasnt good, so her parents freaked out with this virus going around and her stuck in a different country.
Dylan had gone through alot with a cheating girlfriend and a manager that stole millions.
The moment Dylan laid eyes on Cassy it was lust at first sight and he couldnt control his feelings.
Cassy was falling for Dylan but fighting it at all costs.
The chemistry between Cassy and Dylan was off the charts.

I'm on vacation this week and decided I couldn't wait to download Lockdown Lust on KU last night. I knew from the book description that Dylan would be my new favorite book boyfriend. I thought Eli from the first book in the Bookword Beauties series would be hard to top, but everything about Dylan is sexy - even his best friend.
I love a grumpy broody alpha and really love that Cassy had a backbone. It made for great chemistry and some steamy moments. It was a great enemies to lovers romance, with sparks from beginning to end and just the right amount of angst.
Dawn Edwards has quickly become one of my go-to authors, and I'm anxiously awaiting her next book release. 5 stars!

Oh how I loved Lockdown Lust! Cassy is so easy to connect to. I loved her sassy and strong attitude. She is also sweet and endearing and doesn’t take crap from anyone. Dylan is a bit broody to begin with and we understand why. I totally fell for him. He is quite the flirt. Dawn writes a real take on the early months of the pandemic with a perfect romantic build between 2 people stuck together by circumstances. The perfect swoony love story with a bit of drama and lots of chemistry. Highly recommend!

Lockdown Lust was the first & definitely won’t be the last book I read by Dawn Edwards! I enjoyed going on Dylan & Cassy’s journey. I loved the banter between Dylan & Cassy!
I definitely plan to go back and read the first book in this series. I didn’t feel lost though while reading.
