This is also part of the “All Wrapped Up” set with six standalone holiday short stories.
Thanks to my hectic schedule as a pro hockey player, my girl and I are spending more time apart than together. Luckily, I have a solution–a romantic New Year’s Eve getaway in the mountains, just me and Grace and plenty of sexytimes. Except this blizzard has other ideas…
A New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author, Elle Kennedy grew up in the suburbs of Toronto, Ontario, and holds a B.A. in English from York University. From an early age, she knew she wanted to be a writer, and actively began pursuing that dream when she was a teenager.
Elle currently writes for various publishers. She loves strong heroines and sexy alpha heroes, and just enough heat and danger to keep things interesting!
✦ 𝐌𝐘 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 ✦ This was short, cheesy, and SO cute. I was literally smiling the whole time like an idiot. No thoughts, just Logan and Grace being in love 😭
✦ 𝐋𝐎𝐆𝐀𝐍 & 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄 ✦ Life is busy, schedules are messy, and they barely get time together
So Logan panics → asks Garrett (as he should, that man gives elite advice) → plans a cute trip And then they get stranded in a car overnight.
And honestly the BEST PART is just them talking, joking, being soft and in love, I ate that up.
★ “When I mistakenly knocked on that door, I never in a million years thought I’d fall in love with the girl behind it or that we’d be sharing an apartment, a bed, building a life together.” ★
You see how far they’ve come and it’s actually so sweet.
★ “One more minute!” Logan exclaims. “I swear he’s one of the few people I know who still gets ridiculously excited about New Year’s Eve. Me, I never cared much for the holiday to begin with. And over the years, my interest levels have only decreased.” ★
Also… Logan??? No Hannah. No confusion. No nonsense. Just Grace. As it SHOULD be.💯
✦ 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋𝐋 ✦ Soft, funny, and full of love.
No drama, no nonsense, just vibes, conversations, and a couple that actually feels real. Also no Ramona?? Peaceful. I genuinely loved this novella🥹
✦ 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋 ✦ ★★★★★ Short, sweet, and made me smile the entire time. The perfect little continuation of their story.
I didn't realize how much I missed Logan and Grace. I love them so much, and I really enjoyed this cute, little story. Also, Garret is making an appearance here ;)

💝The pact de Elle Kennedy dentro de la antología All wrappeed up for the holidays
Argumento:
Relectura, leido anteriormente en la antologia All Wrapped Up For The Holidays.
Reading The Pact by Elle Kennedy genuinely felt like running into people you used to be obsessed with and realizing you still love them just as much.
This isn’t some huge, plot heavy, high angst story. It’s a small and personal short story and I really really loved and enjoyed it.
I already knew these characters and I already care about them. So instead of needing big twists or shocking drama, what I wanted was more time with them and that’s exactly what this gave me. It feels intimate in a way that only short follow up stories can. You’re not watching them fall in love from scratch. You’re watching what happens after. You’re seeing how they handle real life, promises, expectations, and their fears.
I loved how natural their dynamic still felt. The teasing and the phenomenal banter and chemistry is still there. But it does feel steadier now. Less chaotic and more certainty. It’s not about whether they love each other, it’s about what they’re willing to do for that love. That does make it feel more mature, and honestly, more satisfying.
Is it perfect? No. It’s short. I wanted more depth in certain conversations. I wanted to sit in a few emotional moments longer. Some beats feel quick because there just isn’t that much space. But even knowing that, I can’t say I didn’t enjoy it.
It made me happy. Not in an over the top way, but in a soft, content, close the book and smile kind of way.
It’s not the most intense or groundbreaking thing Elle Kennedy has written, but it doesn’t need to be. It’s warm and affectionate and really nice to read. It feels like closure and continuation at the same time.
EEEEK!!! this was SOOOO CUTE! i felt like logan & graces story was too short and so this little bonus epilogue felt very much needed! it was fun actually seeing them in a committed relationship and grace is honestly hilarious i love her! the end… THE END!!!
A little bit of Logan and Grace for the holiday. You aren't really missing anything important but if you like this couple, you will enjoy the extra time with them.
I loved this realistic look at the stress of trying to make a relationship work when the odds are against you. They book stayed committed to their jobs/studies and still made time for each other. Very sweet!
This was… weird. It started out really good, with some great jokes and funny scenes. But then all of a sudden there was all of this conflict and stress and I honestly didn't get the point of it.
I just wanted a cutesy addition to the Off-Campus series, to see Logan and Grace be all domestic and in love and having a great time and instead this was a mini story. The characters had problems to overcome (and not even in a good way) and then the ending hinted at what was going to happen but didn't show the best part of it... it was very messy. There was a ruined New Year's and talks of cannibalism, I almost wish I hadn't read this.
If you liked The Mistake, then maybe don't read this. It could ruin your view of the characters and leave you disappointed. The original ending remains the best ending to their story.
This was sooo fun to read!!!! And my opinion on Logan has become way more positive. I'm in love with him and Grace and the story was very entertaining and sweet! My only problem were the nicknames, and names (I mean John?), but eh, it was still really good. Though, for me, Garrett still stole the show. I need more of him. He's perfect.
Logan & Grace are my absolute favs of the 4 couples. This story was also the best out of 'The Legacy' book. Loved the spontaneous moments & cuteness of them.
The addition of Logan and Grace story. I love the message behind it. We all need to find time for the person we love even if everything goes against us.
