Until death do they part. They can only hope it won’t come to that…
Rat’s MC took down one cartel leader. Now his five brothers are coming for them. They need alliances fast. Teaming with the Italians and the Bratva could solve the problem. But those guys? They don’t exactly get along. Sal Giuliani’s—the Italian Don—plan to end the conflict was marriage. Namely, Rat’s—to his daughter. Rat will do whatever it takes for his club, but he won’t make the mistake of falling for his bride. Or so he keeps telling himself…
One minute, Sal Giuliani’s daughter was happily living her life, and the next, her father was brokering an arranged marriage for her with some biker. These kinds of things weren’t unusual in a mafia family. But that didn’t mean she had to like it—or her new fiancé. Except...she does, which complicates everything.
Soon, it’s clear that there’s more to this mafia princess than meets the eye, and her secrets could get them both killed. If their enemies don’t get to them first, that is. Overcoming it all won’t be easy.
But then again, nothing worth having ever is…

These books contain violence and descriptions of illicit activities. If you enjoy sexy anti-heroes, fast-paced and action-packed storylines, and steamy love scenes these are the books for you! There are guaranteed happily ever afters for the characters, but the underlying storyline does continue from book to book. It is recommended you begin reading with book one, Heart of Steel.

• This the book I desperately wanted to read…. Like any other person who has read this series wanted to know the back story to rat, specially after that cliffhanger in the previous book
Full disclosure this is not a stand alone read this book should be read in order, I was also told that you should read have it from their mafia series as well. Me personally I have not started that particular series yet but I am highly considering it
The club entered into an agreement with Salvatore Giuliani, the biggest Italian Mafia Don in Austin. He wanted to align himself with the Viking MC, and through them with their allies—the Zetas and the Bratva…… so technically what they were going to do was mafia style and have arranged marriage…… and guess who was chosen from the Vikings…….
Lucky for rat he was able to negotiate that he would be able to choose which of Salvatore’s four daughters that he would marry
Rat’s back story broke my heart…… Rat might have been saved by few of the Viking member just about a decade ago, but not many of the members knew his backstory …. Rat might be the club’s expert on everything technology but you’ll mostly see him faded into the background , well until recently when some of the member of the club started to finding their girlfriends… and Lil by Lil breakdown his walls……
Ari , the mafia Princess who would stop at nothing to help her younger siblings even marry a man she never met before this marriage was announced…….. Like most mafia princesses they lived a sheltered life there was nothing different about that only difference is she was lucky enough that her father had let her go to college only due to the fact that she had computer skills and he utilized those is often as possible……
Ari felt at times like she had been let out of her gilded cage, only to be stuck in another one
This one didn’t have as much action some of the previous books , trust me when I tell you that I am not complaining because I really enjoy getting to know both characters fully in this one it was to me somewhat of a slow burn since they didn’t know each other and both had different types of secrets
There was so much betrayal and disloyalty in this installment…. But dang the bond that all these females share, and how easily they took in Ari to their folds
Til Encryption Do Us Part is the 4th book in the Vikings MC series by Cathleen Cole and Frank Jenson. It is not a standalone and the series should be read in order. Best enjoyed after reading Havoc from their mafia series as well. The book ends on a cliffhanger in the series story arc, but not for this couple’s relationship arc.
Squeee! This book was my favorite of the series so far and completely sucked me in! As always, the character development is phenomenal. You'll love these characters and you'll want all the side characters to have their own stories, because you'll love them too. Rat and Ari are just so likable and deserving of their happily ever after and their banter and relationship development just leave you with all the feels. Rat is NOT an alphahole hero - he’s possessive, but he’s also sweet and considerate. Mellow, but with a temper. Ari is his perfect mafia princess. Cute and sweet on the outside, but inside she has nerves and a backbone made of steel. She does whatever needs to be done and she’ll do anything for her friends and the ones she loves. The book is a little bit of a slow burn, but there is a ton of smexy tension that burns between them.
One of the things I LOVE about Cathleen and Frank's books is 1) the women’s relationships with other women in the story 2) the women are all different, but bad@ss in their own way. I’ve mentioned it in previous reviews, the heroines have strong relationships with other women in the stories that do not revolve around the men. That may be what brings them together, but their relationships are independent, healthy #friendgoals. Also, the women in her stories have their men, but don’t NEED their men. They’re strong mentally and they usually save theirselves. It’s fantastic! I also love how interconnected the mafia series is to the MC series and can’t wait for more! On a personal note, I seriously want Hush to have his own HEA. And REALLY want Bridget’s sister to pull the stick out of her butt and end up with Cade. Just sayin’ FBI agent + MC Prez = gold. But for now, I’ll be waiting on Bass with bated breath!
Rat's life was so full of pain. Left by a dumpster feeling abandon. But life comes with twist and turns. Then he finds his brother Mafia brother , and to pick a wife all in the blink of an eye. Ari had secrets too and her family life was not the best.
Rat and Ari story is one full of danger, betrayal and love. The authors gave the readers everything
I knew I wanted to read Ari and Rat's story after having encountered them in Hush. Although I should have started from the first book in the series, which I did not do, this one did work out quite well as a standalone and the author has given enough backstory as to allow the reader to yap into this world.
I loved Ari and Rat, they were so cute together as they started to get to know each other and explore their marriage. I cannot say that I am a huge fan of arranged marriages, but this one worked quite well for me. Ari was like a breath of fresh air in the MMC's life while Rat was the person, who allowed her to escape the clutches of her imposing father.
I loved the family ties here. The new friendships being formed between Ari and the members of the MMC alongside her sisters and her brother were really solid. Quite enjoyed the experience, so I will definitely continue with another story from this universe.
Rat and Ari's story is some what of a slow burn with epic moments. It is jam packednqith action and steamy scenes that would make anyone blush.
Rat and Ari's story is one of an arranged marriage. Rat has never known why he deserved to be abandoned behind a dumpster and forgotten about. Forced to make his own way in life he comes across two mc membersnand demands they take him on, pick pocket them to cement his point. Now years kn he finds out he is brother to nit only his mc family but the long lost brother to the Russian mob.
But Rats look goes from good to bad to good, and now he is watching his arranged bride walk towards him.
Ari is the daughter of an Italian don that is as deranged, and power hungry, he exploits everyone he comes into contact with, his daughters are no exception.
Ari wants to be left alone but finds herself being married off tona sexy as sin biker by the name of Rat.
I had been looking forward to Rat's story, and 'Til Encryption Do Us Part did not disappoint! Rat and Ari's romance might be my favorite yet.
Once again, I loved the development of all the characters in this book. Cathleen has a unique way of pulling the reader in the story and making us experience all the ups and downs, and twists and turns alongside the protagonists.
I love all the Vikings MC members, but seeing characters from the Discord Series make an appearance as well was the cherry on top of a delicious cake!
I highly, highly recommend this series as well as reading the books in order to get the most of the overarching plot.
’Til Encryption Do Us Part The Vikings MC, Book 4 By: Cathleen Cole, Frank Jensen Narrated by: Allyson Voller, Tyler Darby
I am loving the “Vikings MC”, it has quickly become one of my favorite motorcycle club series and this fourth book is Rat’s story. Rat, the IT guru of the club, became one of my favorite club members, his backstory is unique and he came to the club unconventionally. He just found out about his past and is still accepting it. In the previous book, the club faced a decision to team up with other crime families, the Italians and the Bratva. This was to with their ongoing fight with the Mexican cartel. A deal was struck and Rat took one for the team and volunteered to marry one of Sal Giuliani’s daughters. Luckily it was his choice and not Sal’s. Everyone expected him to choose his older daughter, but he had more in common with Ari and chose her instead. Ari is also into computers and sometimes her father makes her use her computer skills to help with some jobs. She is also protective of her younger sisters and wants to get them out of that life and away from their father. Ari was not happy about this arranged marriage, but it was her only option at the moment. Living with Rat threw her into a whole new world, a biker world, and that was not a bad thing. For the first time she saw what it was like to be part of a family, one where they cared about one another and looked out for each other, sure she had her sisters and brother, but her home was not a loving one thanks to her father. I loved how everything played out in this book, the writing and plotting is fantastic, the story captivated my attention the entire time and tugged on my heartstrings too. The story has a perfect balance of drama, angst, action, some thrilling & suspenseful moments, heartfelt emotions and a slow burn romance. Cathleen Cole and Frank Jensen, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 Allyson Voller and Tyler Darby’s outstanding performance continues as they bring these characters to life. Their character voices have been consistent throughout the series and the audio quality is top-notch. In addition to setting a perfect tone for the story, these narrators capture all the emotions of their characters and evoke them in you. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another exceptional listen.

Holy smokes do these Vikings hot AF men and women know how to keep you intrigued and wanting more. Just when you think its going to settle down, think again! I absolutely loved Rat (not his name though) aka Viktor and Ari! Loved their connection and how they just fit together! Romance, drama, violence and constant adrenaline ride! Read in order continuous storyline and characters!
Wow. There is so much in their story. It was so good. I couldn’t put it down. I couldn’t stop reading. These men and their women are so strong! This has got to be the dynamic duo. Loved it!
Arranged marriage anyone? When Rat is chosen from the club, things change. The Italian Dom Once a truce with everyone. But at what price? When the head of the italian mob are mafia once a truce, he brings in all his enemies with a big secret 41 of them. Enzo, the leader of the bratwa is looking for his little brother in sal. Knows where he is. When the deal is placed on the table, all the men are there to either accept or not. But I'm gonna condition Enzo. Wants to know where his little brother is. The deal is an arranged marriage now. If you read the previous books, you would know that the one main officer in the club. It's pretty much single yet afraid to claim any woman because of his past, but he's willing to take that step and be the chosen one. Even if it kills. As rat is invited to this meeting secret. Come out on who he really is. Since he's the chosen one to marry the Dom's daughter. He takes a step into a more authoritive role except everything that laid out on the table but has his own stipulation. He gets to choose the woman he marries. And he wants a month to do it, Even though he'll think it's too weak. It's still enough time because he's made the right choice. Now, this whole book is about 2 people from different lifestyles. Who are so similar to one another? They need to get to know each other. Because they're wedding day is fast approaching. With so much going on behind enemy lines. You know who to trust and who not and let me tell you. This girl is a lot stronger than she is portrayed in a away at the beginning that you think she's just some mafia, princess. She's standing in the line of fire protects. The girl's protects the club And her. Loyalties lie with them. Let me just say there's so much going on in this book. That eye personally could not put it down. And I wanted to finish it because I wanted to know how it was going to end. And let me tell you it was the best ending ever.
This is book 4 in author duo Cole and Jensen's The Vikings MC series. In all honesty, idk if this should be read as a standalone...I think it could but there are characters and past book events that are referenced so I personally think it's best if read / listened in series order but can be done as a standalone - you do you! Also, please read the warning associated as well and be mindful. This book focus' on main characters Rat and Ari, the biker and the mafia princess. I loved these two characters, and I especially loved them together. Rat has to pick a wife and thankfully he goes with his gut and chooses the best possible woman for him. He's overcome so much, and I love how open he is with Ari and how his "brothers" are always there to support him, especially after all he went thru. Rat is the perfect balance of sweet and dirty, protective and violent. Ari is no stranger to danger and has seen the darkness of mafia life but is still in protected. I love the balance of sweet / soft with the tough as nails character she is. A perfect if unknowingly so at the beginning match. Perfect dual narration where Voller and Darby deliver wonderfully as our main characters and bring them to life! Storyline is well written and flows well with a great mix of everything you could want in an MC / mafia romance read / listen. All the action and danger that comes with twists and turns as well as the sweet, alpha protectiveness and steamy chemistry. Dark and violent at times but mixed in with hope and a hea for these two - although we know that more danger is just around the corner for this band of MC brothers, and I can't wait for it!
This book was given to me for free at my request and I voluntarily provided this review. *this review is based on the audio version of this read.
‘Til Encryption Do Us Part The Vikings MC, Book 4 By: Cathleen Cole, Frank Jensen Narrated by: Allyson Voller, Tyler Darby
Romantic suspense, alpha male, MC club family, this series has it all. Cathleen Cole and Frank Jensen. From the last book, we know the club is joining forces with the Bratva and Italian mafia to take down the Mexican Cartel. To seal the deal, Rat is chosen to have an arranged marriage with his choice of Guiliani daughters. Ariana is who he picks, and while she isn't too happy, she takes the plunge. Here she finds a whole new world of what family is truly like. Now invested in her new life, she gets kidnapped by her own father so she will perform her hacker skills to gather information for him. Will she do it? What will she find out when she gets there? Are her sister all right? This is a fascinating look at what greed and power can do to a family. It shows the love of family, the strength it brings and what a person will do to keep them safe. I am loving this series. With each story, we get a glimpse of all the Vikings, seeing a little more personality of each, where their lives are at and the bond between the brothers that is unbreakable. Bring on the next one!
Allyson Voller and Tyler Darby continue their teamwork bringing this story to live. Each voice is perfectly matched to the character, and they are all consistent from book to book. Voller voices Ari, and she uses her inflections to show just how much Ari matures. From a bit quiet to major backbone, she gives her confidence and strength. Darby is Rat, and he gives that overall love and protectiveness vibe. He can change on a dime and the cold shoulder is freezing, all with his voice! I love this team and look forward to their next collaboration.
Now this is definitely one time that I could predict the outcome of a particular showdown. I knew Arianna would be Rat's obvious choice and not the harpy that was throwing herself at him. I also knew Sal was in for a rude awakening.
This book was probably one of my favs so far, as always, these books keep getting better and better.
The character development in this book was on point. I love seeing their growth. Rat and Ari were made for each other. Both come from very different backgrounds
Rat is the viking MCs treasury keeper plus an amazing whizz on a computer. He's fearsly possessive but has a heart of gold and will do anything for his MC brothers and the woman in it, including his own. Arianna (ari) is the daughter of a mafia Don and also a computer nerd, Who's been taught and raised well, she has balls and a backbone to boot, she will do what ever it takes to protect those she loves even if she has to kill to do so. Even though it was an arranged marriage, these two couldn't have been more perfect for each other.
I've absolutely loved this series so far. I like that the books continue on from each other, so it keeps you wanting more going from one book to the next. I like the woman empowerment and how strong and resilient they are.
I love that in this series each book builds on the previous one. You feel as if you are getting so much more from all the characters that you love throughout it. This book is about Rat (MMC), he was the son of a high mafia family until he was stolen away. Upon figuring out who he really is, the truths come out, twists happen and an arranged marriage bargain is accepted. It will tie the Bratva and Italian mafia families to the two powerful MC’s that Rat is a part of. The choice is between three daughters, but for Rat there was only one that stood out. Ari (FMC) might only be 18, but she is everything Rat could want in a relationship. Their love of computers and helping the underdog makes the match even better. With an arranged marriage that allies families, trouble is soon to follow. Add in the trouble with the Mexican cartel and everything catches up with them at once. I don’t want to give away too much, but do recommend you read this series.
Another great story in this series! Fully action packed! A lot of character involvement. I was so excited for this one. Rat’s story started coming out in the last book which made me interested in what would happen to him now. Well I was not disappointed. I watched him pick his female, deal with his past, grow mentally and realize he can become a jealous possessive guy.
This really covers a lot ground involving the MC and a few other “families”. I loved all the suspense and action especially when the girls got involved. As usual the camaraderie between the boys is a delight. Then watching the female MC blend in and become happy just being around his family made my heart warm and fuzzy.
I listened to this on audio. Allyson Voller and Tyler Darby are the narrators. They both an excellent job and are easy on the ears. I enjoyed how they each brought these characters to life for me. I eagerly look forward to the next in the series.
Talks about trauma which made me cry quite a bit hearing the main guy character backstory. Overall the character were well written and I love how loving , relatable and sweet the character are. It deals with arranged marriages , mafia , biker club, boy obsessed and alpha possessive. It also cute how they both are in love with computer and share that in common which lead to them falling alove. He must married one of the Giuliani mafia family daughter in order to gain more power and protection for his club. However she hates the idea of getting married until she Mets him. She ends up agreeing but ends up falling hard for him and having to decide about family or him. In the end she risks it all for him but will it be enough when he finds out her secret? Shes end up in danger because of that secret and he’s goes crazy trying to help her in the end.

This is my favorite of the series so far. I didn't know just how bad I needed Rat's story and for him to find his other half to help him heal. And there is so much going on, so many secrets revealed and interesting new characters introduced whose stories I also need one day, along with some old friends lending a hand. All this kept me engaged in the story and impatient to find out what was next. I knew Rat had an heartbreaking history and it was so good to see him get closure, even as it hurt. An arranged marriage for business alliances may have been the intention, but an amazing love resulted as two perfect for each other people found forever...and she is one fierce, tough woman who fits right in with the Vikings. Narration brought the story from the pages. I'm so ready to listen to the next!
I was waiting for Rat's story and this didn't disappoint. Rat is the IT specialist for the club. To join forces with another crime family, he chose to marry one of Sal Guilani's daughters. Both had an interest in computers. He didn't know the extent of her computer skills. Ari was not familiar to the biker lifestyle, it took some time for her to get used to the comradery and loyalty they had for each other. Action packed, drama, suspenseful and steamy romance. I love how the romance and trust was built between Ari and Rat and the club. Allyson Voller and Tyler Darby’s narration captures the personalities and emotions throughout this story. Very well done #the flock on tour
Such a great book. I have enjoyed this entire series of The Vikings MC.
An arranged marriage between Rat who is a member of the MC but also the younger missing brother of the Bratva. And Ari who is the middle daughter of the local mafia boss.
Neither expected to fall in love and become a solid couple.
Rat is the MC hacker and there is more to Ari than expected.
Don't want to give too much away because this series needs to be read. Looking forward to the next book.
This book had so much potential that never came to fruition. I was so excited for Rat’s story, but I felt like the author couldn’t get a grasp on his character. Was he calm and collected? Or the type to fly off the handle at his wife multiple times… not that I minded Ari being better at computers than him, but wasn’t he supposed to be the best? And why did it take til the 80% mark to begin working together? Also, the cooking aspect should have been a bigger theme throughout. It felt randomly thrown in there.
I never would have thought I would have fallen so in love with an MC series the way I have with this one. I never would have thought bikers would have me waiting excitedly and irritated for the next book. This series is so good. Steele is the unbelievably sexy while Gunnar is loyal and loving. But Rat is boyishly charming while being all male. The flow of the storyline is perfect and the plots are grasping! Perfect… Just perfect!!
This one is a keeper to be enjoyed many times. It is filled with romantic angst, family fighting and reorganizing, and an end to one issue. It was good getting caught up on the MC family and learning more about Rat’s new woman. Looking forward to book 5. Highly recommend the series and this book too. No cheating, HEA. Some issues end, no cliffhanger per say but there is a new issue that develops as the book ends which leads us into the next one.
This is the fourth book in this fascinating series and this is Rat and Ari's journey. This is a well written story which has intrigue, suspense, action, violence, danger, drama, twists, humour, witty banter, family, friendships, secrets, and love which all leads to a riveting and addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
I absolutely love Rat and the way he has grown through the book series. It was great to find out more about his past which has been hinted at previously.
It was interesting to see how his bride chosen for an arranged marriage would fit in with Ray, the MC and the girls but the woman he chose is perfect for him and I’m so happy to see how the relationship progresses.
As per all the other books there are twists and turns and the women show they are not meek and frail.
This book isn’t as exciting as the other books in this series but it is a great pass through book to get into another storyline. Plus it was so great getting Rat’s story. I think his and Ari’s story is one of my favorites. They are such a perfect match. It was also great to meet some new characters with Ari and her siblings. Can’t wait for the next book.
I just can’t get enough now the Vikings male and female. Wow these girls only get more awesome. What’s hard to understand is that these genres are few and far between. When was the last time we got a woman in church let alone 6 and they can hold their own. Can’t wait for Bass and hopefully Cade’s book. It better be Flynn.
I rarely find an MC that offers the tech wizz a HEA. Rats had a hard childhood, but he gets the woman of his dreams and the pair are both hot geeks that compliment each other. Although he’s possessive and got headed at times he’s sweet towards Ari when it counts.
