Military melds with Sci Fi.
INSURRECTION takes up where FALLEN NATION ends. This chiller’s focus is not only on a viral outbreak but a military coup and civil war, as well. What I found particularly frightening, especially in the times we live in, is that the premise is entirely credible.
The descriptions are well done and the characters believable. Every time I read this author I am struck by his military and arms knowledge. His field artillery expertise shines through in his writing. This story will appeal to readers with a military background or just enjoy a believable, apocalyptic tale.

Gritty and scary vision of a possible post-apocalyptic future.
This is book two of an ongoing series. You will need to have read book one, Fallen Nation, to make sense of what is going on.
In this episode, the enemy is not obvious. It's gorilla warfare with neighbor against neighbor against family against the armed forces.
Well written, realistic. The world isn't black and white but multitude shades of gray. Will there be light somewhere in the future. I have no idea where the author is going, guess I'll have to read book three to find out.
