29 books123 followersI live in Melbourne, Australia, with my partner of over 20 years, two teenage sons, and our Irish Wolfhound, Sarge. There's always something going on around here, and the dog is usually at the centre of the mischief. He's a bit of a sock thief, but only the oldest child's or dad's, and they're usually found on my bed!
In my early 20's, (prior to kids, and my partner, obviously) I sang in a couple of local bands on the weekends. Now I only sing for my own amusement, and pleasure. The bonus is, now I get to use my singing to annoy my children!
I've also been baking, and decorating cakes since my late teens, and I've made a lot of different styles of cakes. Everything from wedding cakes, to kids birthday cakes. I even made a cookie cake one year for my youngest son, it looked like something the dog left behind, but the kids loved it! I love creating new, and exciting designs for my family, and close friends, it feeds my soul, and my need to be creative, as well as my sweet tooth!
Writing is something I've always wanted to do. English was one of my favourite classes, because I could write essays. The only problem was, I couldn't keep to words limits, and I still can't! Mind you, my word limits are my own these days, but I still always go over what I have planned. Apparently, I can't shut up! Being an author as been a dream for as long as I can remember. Self-publishing has made that dream a reality.
My path to becoming a published author came about by pure accident. After reading romance novels since I was in my early teens, (way too early to be reading the bodice rippers that I was!) I wrote a small piece, and asked a close friend to read it. I knew she read what I did, and would tell me if it was good ... or not! She told the rest of our circle of friends, they read it, and wanted more, and well, one thing led to another which led to my first novel being published. That small piece, is now a very edited, and added to last chapter of 'Sneaky', the first book in my Sneaky Love Series.

It seems like a simple motto to live by; only the universe has another plan. Makenna and Brady have been together since they were sixteen. We are joining the story at their wedding. From there, we have a love story with steam, romance, and romantic gestures. We also get the actual life struggles of running a family business and the loss of loved ones.
Being the first book in this new series, we set the scenes for future books about Drake Wines. We meet Makenna’s brothers and other family friends. I am looking forward to reading more about this family.

"Marriage. Babies. Live their happily ever after."
Vineyard follows Makenna & Brody as they've been planning to be together forever since they were teenagers. I think one of the best things about this story is the fact that we start out as they get married instead of everything leading up to it which is refreshing to be honest. Their journey now is filled with heat & romance, but it's also filled with the things that life brings on, so it came off with a very realistic vibe cover to cover. I don't want to get into too many details since they could be spoilers since it isn't a dark story filled with twists & turns. It's a most touching & emotional story as they come up against bumps in the road from running a family business, and losing people like everyone does throughout life. I hope everyone reads this beautiful story, and as for me?! I cannot wait for more in the series! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Sweet and Sexy
Vineyard is my first read from author Chelle Pimblott and her first release after a brief writing hiatus.
A steamy, standalone novel, with a happily ever after, Vineyard forms the groundwork for the continuing series, centered on the people and activities of Drake Wines; a vineyard and winery owned and operated by Drake siblings: Logan, Caleb, and Makenna, in the wake of their parent’s untimely death.
We join the story with the wedding of Makenna Drake and her long-time childhood love and family friend, Brady Harris, following them through their honeymoon and struggles to become parents. Featuring sweet, steamy romantic scenes and true romantic gestures, all rooted in a deep abiding love story.
A pleasurable read which I recommend to readers who are looking for authentic romance.
I await future installments in this series with great anticipation.

I was at chapter 16 and tired of rolling from one bed scene to another and only being 3 days into the honeymoon.
On the one hand, Brady was a caring man who wants to do everything in his power to make his wife happy. On the other hand, he was there to satisfy Makenna wherever he can and to satisfy his own sexual appetite.
Makenna lets everything come to her, get a little over her head but also takes pleasure in their excessive sexual bed behavior.
A big plus of this story is the humor and banters that often come through in their communication.
What bothered me is that Brady and Makenna regularly call the other "wife or "husband instead of the name. And every page is said at least once I love you.
I was done with this story at chapter 16. Not much story at all for me

Vineyard is the first book in the Drake Wine Series which introduces us to MacKenna and Brady who are wed at the beginning of the book and have been sweethearts since in their teens. This is a love story which includes real life stressors as they manage the family winery. This book introduces the members of their families and the other siblings of MacKenna.

Brady and Kenna they knew they were it for each other since they were 15!! Brady was Kennas rock when she lost her parents but as the story progresses we get to experience their love and marriage! I loved their chemistry!!

This was my first read from this author and I absolutely loved the first person point of view of the story. This is a deal breaker for me. I will read more from this author in the future.

What I liked was that Brady was sure that Makenna was the one for him since he was fifteen. We meet them on their wedding day and are along for the ride for their highs and lows as they transition into married life.

This is the first book in the Drake Wines series and is a fantastic romance story between Makenna and Brady. It is a rollercoaster ride of emotions but well worth the read. I look forward to the next instalment of the series.

This was a great story. It was beautifully written and fast paced. The chemistry between the characters was sizzling hot. This book has everything you need to keep you turning pages hot sexy men, steamy scenes and some conflict thrown in. I cannot wait for what this author writes next.

I love this start to a new series!! The story of Brady and Makenna is so beautiful right from the get go. Love the honeymoon fun super sexy yet a lil sweet all the way through to the sad troubles the go through but make it through together! Cant wait for the rest of this series!!

A book that takes you on the ups and downs of various events that occur in one couples life. It isn't always easy but the way that Makenna and Brady work together, you get the impression that there's nothing they can't do together. It's a really great story.

A very enjoyable sweet read. I enjoyed the storyline immensely and liked the characters so much. The story had everything I like in a story. A very good stary to the series.

DNF. When switching POVs, the first few paragraphs would recap what the other pov just experienced. The writing didn’t have personality. There was a ton of talk about love and I just didn’t feel it at all!

This is the 1st in a new series and is Brady and Makenna’s story. These two have had their lives planned out since they were teens, and when tragedy strikes, Makenna is left to help her brothers run the family wine business. This is a beautifully written emotionally charged story which is sweet, and with loss, family, romance, and love, which leads to a steamy and all-consuming tale. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
