I’m with you until the end. I’ve spent most my life running, afraid of my abusive stepfather. The monster that will never stop hunting me down until he has me in his grasp once more. That was until I met Talon Kennedy, the president of the Kings of Chaos. A man who showed me it’s ok to let someone help you, to let someone in. I don’t have to fight the world all on my own, not now that I have him by my side. Now, I’m his Queen and he’s my King. But life isn’t that simple and certainly not that easy. After everything we’ve faced so far, the worst is still to come. The constant threat of my stepfather who becomes more unhinged with each passing second. Not to mention the rival club that wants to start a war with the Kings. Everything feels like it has been drenched in gasoline and one spark is all it will take to send us all up in flames. Can we survive what comes next or will we be engulfed by the fire? One thing is for sure, if we want our happy ever after, we’ll have to fight for it.
I don't know if the author's primary language is English, but someone needs to teach her how to form a complete sentence. A sentence requires a subject. Many of her sentences begin with an -ing verb and then just end with a period. Awful grammar....it's worse in the first book and gets a little better later. Other than that, the 2 books were a good read.
eh, I read this a few weeks ago and I had to read through some of the reviews to remember what it was about (I've read quite a few MC books this month) I have no desire to continue on with this series the author is decent
Can Hazel be so stupid. You try to make her strong, but you make her stupid. If you know someone is after you, why would you go outside, at night, alone, when you have already been attacked multiple times?
This was an amazing read. Talon and Hazel's story concludes in this one. There's twists and turns with a few surprise reveals. You'll be hooked from the beginning. A page turner that takes you on one hell of a rollercoaster of a ride. I definitely recommend reading.
