As we all know, in today's world which is driven by technology and all things alike, Java is the programming language that has been trending for quite some time. In the year 2020, it was deemed to be one of the most popular programming languages in use.
Usually, we can see that a lot of time and effort is wasted in Manual testing of applications. This is where the Java comes into use.
The book provides easy solution to write automated test cases using Selenium, thereby saving a lot of manual efforts for the testers to do something productive.
Though I did have some prior knowledge about the programming language, I can say that this book has been absolutely helpful to garner and learn more information about Java.
One might think that this book wont be helpful for amateurs, but it is totally not the case. The author has done a great job of explaining everything with detail and descriptions that even novices can easily understand it.

It's is divided into several chapters explaining each and every thing in a reader friendly manner. The book covers all Java concepts needed for Test Automation. Plus it focuses on all the building blocks needed to develop robust and reusable test automation frameworks.
It also includes different test automation frameworks and guide to design Page Object Model Framework using Selenium also the integration with Test Management tools and outlines Test Automation success factors.
Plus there's some Myths about Test Automation which should be discussed too.
In total, this book is a guide to all the candidates who might be a beginner or a professional. The narration is good and simple making it a comfortable read for all.

More than half of the book is about Java.
The remaining half of the book is about Test Automation.
The author lists and explains the different softwares available for Testing and how to perform testing using Java.
I have learnt Java, yet I came across many new things in this book.
Each and every Java concept has been covered very comprehensively.
Appropriate examples have been given where necessary and applicable.
The language of the book is very simple and easy to understand. The whole book is structured beautifully.
I feel the book talks more about Java that it does about Automation Testing.
Though the book contains everything from basic to advanced Java, I recommend it to those who already know at least the basics of Java.
Nonetheless, it is perfect for beginners too.

I am not much into programming but this book has been a great guide for me being a novice.

The book "Test Automation" is written by Vikas Sharma. This book has well detailed matters of Java. It will very useful for beginners too. Many examples are clearly explained from basic to advance in every chapters. It's very needful for college students and it's a important subject also. The book has lots of advanced Java selenium for the future working projects.I like Java in my college days and also got good marks in it. Really, i bought this for my cousin. But, when i opened this book every 24 chapters are well explained and able to recall everything easily. It's absolutely has great Java frameworks. It's been like I'm a master of Java.

This book as the title suggests is a perfect solution to know everything about test automation, Java and Selenium.
I being a complete beginner to all this, still found this book to be helpful, easy to understand and filled with information.
Overall it contains 24 different chapters covering different concepts and topics about Java, Selenium and test automation.
With each concept examples are given so the understanding becomes more easy.

Purchased the book as a reference to Java Programming, Data Types, Arrays, Variables, , Exception Handling, String Handling, Java Collections, Overview Of Selenium, Selenium Webdriver, Automation Success Factors, Automation Myths and Such Aspects of Java Programming. Each Concept is explained in Detail in the Book. am new to this programming and was looking for something complete for the beginner. It is very complete as far as I can see and was a great reference for what I was doing in regards to online training. I would recommend this book for new Programmers.
