Lasairiona McMaster writes sassy, classy and badassy women and strong, yet vulnerable men.
She challenges reader’s expectations by openly dealing with mental health issues, often exploring tough-to-handle topics and ‘taboos’ and books with a whole lotta heart.
She can either be found enjoying a gin and lemonade by the Irish sea, or baking sweet treats in her kitchen while singing at the top of her lungs.
When she’s ‘home’ in Texas, and isn’t eating fresh-popped popcorn while buying things she has absolutely no need for in Target, she can be found at Chuys eating her body weight in chips and queso and washing it down with a margarita swirl.
Honestly this is gonna be an ode to Austin. I’ve liked Kenzie. I’ve liked Kenzie a lot. But Austin ? Damn boy ! First he’s mega hot, and I’m not talking he’s super tall super fit kind of hot … even if … yeah ok he’s that kind of hot too. But his attitude ? That makes 95% of his hotness factor. The guy is a killing machine but he’s super chill most of the time. You know he’s going to spank you till you can’t sit but he’ll put fuzzy socks on you. He’s the perfectly written Dom too because yes ladies and gents being a Dom isn’t just being the boss it’s so much more complex than that. And a good Dom ? He can Dom you from accros the room without even taking to you. Austin also has major confidence issue despite what he looks like, his last name or his attitude that could lead you to think he has it all. And to me it’s important, showing that insecurity touches absolutely everybody. Not just the “perceived” softer one. Austin also shows that caring, and being willing to show you care isn’t a weakness, it’s a strength and at the end of the day he’ll still boss her around if he so chooses. Why ? Because he’s earned it from her; just like she earned from him the freedom to let go and know he’ll always give her whatever she needs. Back to Kenzie because she still deserve my attention. That girl was dealt an horrible end but she learned to say stop, which not everyone can do. And even if both need bravery; to endure or to leave. Their both still often assimilated with weakness and she’s here to prove that wrong. She didn’t need anybody to reveal herself a brave, strong, confident woman, Austin only made the process quicker and easier, but she was always going to reveal herself the badass that she is.
I’m gonna stop because they’re going to tell my text is too long again…..
Thank you to queen Lasairiona herself for sending me a digital arc of this book. I am obsessed with these damn Snow Pirates and this installment may just be tied for my favorite (Linc and Cleo have the top spot IYKYK). Two for Boarding is definitely more explorative and really showcases a dominant and submissive relationship between the characters. It was delightfully spicy, consensual, and understanding. I also feel like I learned so much while reading this one. I have a deeper understanding of kink as well as more of the ins and outs of these relationships. Austin and Kenzie were so so good for each other and I really adored how caring he was in and out of the bedroom. A lot of these emotions that Kenzie expresses throughout the story, I felt in my soul. And that's exactly what this book was doing. It has heart. It has soul. It has spice, yet even with the spice, I felt connected to this world and the characters residing in it. There was so much thought put in here and I think a lot of people can feel more seen than they may have expected from a spicy hockey series. I could definitely ramble on and on about this book and this series. Kenzie is also curvy and I love how her confidence comes through by the end of the book. Austin grows as well and learns to forge ahead in his future instead of being brought down by his past. All I'm saying, is that there are so many good things, emotional feelings and wonderful characters which is why this book should be on your radar.
This book is everything. I've been excited for Austin since he made his appearance and I heard the basic premise. I was darn lucky to get an ARC of this baby and I ended up powering through a migraine to finish it because I was that enthralled. It was also one of the only books I've ever highlighted passages for and saved. Austin and Kenzie take you on a journey of healing. Both with their own personal demons from their past, they aren't looking for a relationship, but as they come together it is powerful and intense. They heal each other, and Kenzie learns to open her heart and trust again by giving Austin her submission. I laughed. I cried. Then laughed some more. Then more crying. The universe that Las has built in this series is incredible and has been some of my favorite books. I can't wait for more, and to see what other roller coasters Ms. McMaster will take us on! I'm strapped in and ready, willing to take whatever ride she puts me on. I was sucked in from book one of this series and I never want it to end.
this book follows Mackenzie who is coming out of an abusive relationship and gets away from him by running away from him and Texas. Then she meets Austin at a BDSM club. She’s immediately intrigued with him and everything else around her. This book had a really sweet relationship based around the two main characters based in love and mutual respect for each other. Austin helps her with self love and self worth. I loved Mackenzie’s friend group they were hilarious
So we are back with the fourth book in the Minnesota Snow Pirates series, I for one am so happy to be back with these guys. It has got to the point that if this was a real team I would be their number 1 fan. In this instalment of the series we are looking at Austin who is equal parts kinky and gorgeous. Austin is the type of book boyfriend that will make you braid your hair and kneel in front awaiting further instructions, and ready to say 'Yes Sir' at the drop of the hat. Austin and Mackenzie's story is told over the course of 29 Chapters plus a Prologue and Epilogue. This is a great length for a book, personally I wanted more but that is more to do with me falling for my new book boyfriend than the actual story.
Now I need to talk about the whole book and not just Austin, because if I stay on the topic of Austin any longer this is going to be a fanfic not a review. So let's move on.
One thing this book has that I completely adored is the friendship that Mackenzie and Austin have. Within just the Prologue the reader gets to see just how great of a friend Paige is to Mackenzie. This only strengthens as you move through the book and meet the other lady in this group of 'badass bitch best friends' Addison. I'm lowkey hoping these two get their own stories but it is not just Mackenzie's friends that are amazing in this book, it's Austin's too. Yes most of Austin's friends that you meet are the Snow Pirates but it just shows you how great this friendship really is. This book managed to get me excited and anxious for the rest of the story just from the Prologue. The Prologue that is basically the meet cute for Mackenzie and Austin. From this moment I was absorbed into this story and this relationship. Mackenzie has a bit of a mysterious past, that slowly comes to light throughout the book. This past does have some Trigger Warnings for readers. Now although her past contains some sensitive topics, the author has navigated her way through it with skill and compassion. I found that this book also had a slight educational feel when it came to the world of BDSM. Mackenzie, like this reader, is a vanilla girl, whereas Austin is anything but Vanilla. As these two delve into the BDSM world things are explained to the reader in enough detail that they know exactly what is going on at all times. This whole aspect of BDSM really takes those sexy scenes to another level. A level that was even more delicious than normal. Now this book isn't just full of fun friendships groups, BDSM sexy scenes and sensitive topics. It also holds those all important LOL moments that readers adore. Some of these moments even appear during the verbal foreplay that our main characters seem to enjoy just as much as readers will. Overall this was another book that Lasairiona excelled with. Its beautifully written, amazing characters and a story that readers get sucked into. As much as I want Lasairiona to enjoy Publication Day and everything this book brings, I personally can't wait until book 5 is released.
Grab a fan, cold water shower or just run and jump in an ice bath, you're gonna need it!!
First off thank you so much to Lasairiona for sending me an ARC of this book!
In this story we follow Kenzie and Austin. Kenzie works on the snow pirates physio team and Austin is a snow pirate.
They meet at the ice rink very quickly. We then follow Kenzie and her two girlfriends Paige and Adi (Addison) as they go to a 'sex dungeon' as Kenzie calls it, Paige and Adi have been before but this is Kenzie's first time. Here she meets Austin again and this is where the relationship starts.
We go through them trying to figure out their relationship, Austin is a soft Dom (who focuses more on pleasure) and Kenzie is a beginner sub (she's never done it before but throughout this book we follow her journey).. But there is surprises along the way!
This book is spicy as all hell, so incredibly sweet and funny! Kenzie and Austin are the perfect couple! The plot is absolutely phenomenal and I couldn't have asked for anything better!!
I would recommend this book to absolutely everybody who loves some spice!
Wow! Buckle up your about to be cared for to the point of exhaustion! Is that possible? Austin is here to show Kenzie and every person who reads this story that you are perfect exactly as you are. That what you want, what you need, and what you say all of it matters! Damn if that doesn't make your clothes melt off well you might want to check and see if your still breathing! Don't worry though Austin will be there to give you mouth to mouth. If he's busy Kenzie our heroine and sassy physical therapist who Austin has his sights set on she is hilarious. Maybe she can bring color back to your cheeks with a good laugh! She's been pretty sheltered not by her own doing because she has a free spirit but her family has ideals and they think what they say goes. Only Kenzie knows she can't live that life it will kill her. So she runs and starts fresh! When I say fresh I mean in all areas including the bedroom. Where she's all to ready to try new flavors with the man who's showing her how much she matters and that her consent and their communication means everything to him. So come hang out with Austin and Mackenzie, the Snow Pirates of course and a few new faces for some laughs, maybe some tears, some new information and a lot of love between friends and found family. 💚 I have voluntarily left this review.
5 star Review Two For Boarding (Snow Pirates #4) by Lasairiona McMaster
The latest book in the Snow Pirates series and was a great addition to what is quickly becoming one of my favourite hockey series. This is Austin Morgan and Mackenzie (Kenzie) Abbott’s story. I really enjoyed Two For Boarding and I was drawn into the story from the first chapter. Austin is a Dom and a recent break up has caused him to doubt his abilities. Being attracted to Kenzie, he knows it is the last thing he should be as they work together.
However it is obvious that she has secrets and is not into his lifestyle, can he take a chance on opening up to her and in doing so explore a Dom/sub relationship with Kenzie? This is a story with heat , passion and the exploration of a BDSM relationship.
This was a well written story that explores the relationship between a Dominant and submissive and was emotional at times. Austin and Kenzie are well suited to one another and I loved watching their relationship develop.
I loved the premise of this story, Kenzie is not your typical heroine and I for one loved that as they brought out the best in one another. This is a story with heart and soul and ticked all the boxes for me.
Holy Shitballs!! When you think her books can’t get any better she brings out this beast. You know the time that you had the most amazing sex of your life and you fear it would ruin you for all men to come. This book is that in word form. All books to come may be ruined by this. I loved it. I loved it so hard. I laughed, I cried and I snorted tea out my nose. Not only are you with the characters every step of their journey but you literally feel it. The main characters in this book would be enough in it’s own right but the supporting characters add that cherry on top. It makes you excited for their stories to come. Aaaaaannnnddddd now I’m spent.
Alright, let’s start with the fact that this book is not going to be for everyone due to certain aspects involved. So, make sure that you read the synopsis to know what you’re getting into before you start reading. This is your warning, if you don’t listen and start reading anyway, but you end up not liking it because of those certain aspects, well that’s on you.
Ok, now that that’s out of the way, I loved this book so fucking much!! I seriously loved everything about it from the story, to the characters, to the BDSM aspect of it. We don’t get as much hockey in this book but the information and insight into the Dom/Sub life was really detailed which I loved because it’s not something that you tend to get in most of these types of books.
Kenzie is such an incredibly character. She has so many insecurities and self doubts at the beginning so seeing how much she grows throughout the book was so incredibly satisfying. And I swear she has THE best friends, I was laughing so much whenever Addison and Paige were part of the story. Seriously, I think we could all use friends like those two girls.
Now Austin is just...sorry, I got a little lost in my day dreaming about him because he’s just that damn delicious. He is seriously this sweet, attentive, cinnamon roll when it comes to Kenzie, but he is also a complete badass. Especially when it comes to one particular character that shows up later on in the book, you’ll know what I’m talking about when you get there. And let’s just say that, that scene, had me wishing for the ability to reach into the page and pull him out of it so I could jump his bones, lol. I’m at the point where I don’t think I can pick a favorite boy from this series because I love all of them so damn much.
If you want a book where you can get it all, from hockey to romance, BDSM, fantastic friendships, incredible character growth, some incredibly spicy scenes, and ALL of the emotions, then this is your book. So, grab a blanket and curl up in your favorite spot, make sure you have a big bottle of water to help keep you cool, and dive in!
Okay. See… here’s the problem. Every time Lasairiona McMaster’s book gives me a new book boyfriend AND book girlfriend, I think, “there’s no way she’s going to write characters I’m more I’m love with…”
…AND THEN SHE DOES 🥵
Two For Boarding is quite a bit different from the first three books in the Snow Pirates series. It showcases a BDSM dynamic, which makes everything a bit more spicy! But my favorite part is that Lasairiona McMaster approached this correctly. I’ve read books with BDSM aspects before that felt very…wrong. Lasairiona McMaster highlights consent. Which is incredibly important in any relationship, but I was just so happy to feel comfortable knowing both characters consented.
I used to avoid contemporary romance because it was just not my thing, but this author deep dives into characters and I’m obsessed with well written characters. Austin and Kenzie are incredible characters. They have their past. I loved watching both of them heal thanks to each other. It’s honestly a beautiful relationship and I was on quite an emotional rollercoaster.
I think I keep saying each new book is my favorite if the series, but that’s just because Lasairiona McMaster just gets better every book. If you haven’t been reading this series, you’re missing out. Each stands alone, but I’ve enjoyed each one so much, I hope you read them all!
Thank you to Lasairiona McMaster for the ARC copy. All opinions are my own and unbiased.
Austin and Kenzie, oh how I have pined for the two of you! I have been counting down the days until I could read this couple every since Lasairiona started planning her Snow Pirates series, which is pretty close to a year ago now. I KNEW that I would love these two. I KNEW that they would steal my heart and put it through the ringer. I also knew that I could trust Lasairiona with my heart and my vulnerabilities and these characters I have loved since their inception and that she would treat them right, and write them correctly and with the justice they deserve. And was I ever absolutely correct!?! She utterly SLAYED y'all. Kenzie is every bit the fierce survivor I knew she was and Austin totally robbed me of my heart in so many ways I didn't know were possible. These characters, their comraderie, their love, the bonds the build and carry, they are utterly unforgettable. The Snow Pirates have captured me completely and I'm not even sorry. So go, read this brilliance, and love it as hard as I do! See y'all on another page!
This was a lot of different things, in a good way! Definitely check TW first.
I love that the character is curvy and she is very relatable. She does have a lot of self doubt (coming from trauma in the past) she ends up with A LOT of character growth and I couldn’t be happier for her!
Austin is so damn sweet and attentive. Knowing what Kenzie needs without her realizing it herself. He pushes her to see the best in herself.
This wasn’t my typical genre with the BDSM, but it was extremely informative. Sooo I learned a lot 😂
Overall I gave this book 4 stars because I’d like to have a little bit more hockey in there but it was a good read 🥰
Mackenzie a small town southern girl, has always been the first to self doubt and think she’s not pretty enough. After a difficult home life she escapes, and really finds herself. With the help of Austin learns to push boundaries, and grow into her own.
Austin is the sweetest most supportive person/partner. The way he helps Mackenzie explore the world of BDSM is probably the best part of this book. He’s always encouraging and never pressures her. He really helps her gain the self confidence she needs and to be unapologetically be herself.
These two and their love story is a perfect addition to this series. I really enjoyed getting to know Austin better after seeing him in the other books.
My only wish is this book was a little more hockey, I missed having that but I did know going into it that it was light on the hockey aspect.
This was not the typical book for this series from Lasairiona and it was ABSOLUTELY CAPTIVATING!!! I was sucked into this story from the very first page.
This book was about so much more than the Dom/Sub dynamic between these two characters. Being able to go on the journey with Mackenzie and Austin was thrilling. I absolutely felt both Austin and Mackenzie's pain and her lack of self confidence. Recongnizing how hard it is to get past former abuse and knowing you are worth so much more. And when you find that person who helps you see it, well, there are really no words as to how life changing that is. All of these things is what was so beautiful about this story. Add in the undeniable, sizzling, scorching heat that flys off the pages from the white hot chemistry between these two, this book was EVERYTHING! It was the perfect balance of kink and romance!
If I could give this book more than 5 ⭐️'s, I would! Lasairiona is a true master of her craft and I'm so glad that these two made her write their story to share with the world.
You did is again Lasairiona! I can't wait to read the next installment in this series. I just know it is going to be just as phenomenal as the rest of them ❤.
Ok, I will admit that I did go into this book thinking it was going to be a bit heavier on the hockey. As a hockey fan, I am all about the sports romance books. The hockey aspect was kind of the second string, but I will tell you that the heat between Austin and Kenzie was so HOT that I am not mad about the lack of hockey.
Do not let the word "Dom" scare you away from this book. Austin is not the tyrant type of "Dom" but more of a gentle "Dom". He was aware of Kenzie and made sure she felt safe every time. Additionally, he made sure they both got pleasure. This is very important in this type of sexual relationship. Lasairiona brought the heat with this book, and I sure felt it... seconds, please!
Kenzie is broken. She ran, across the country, from an abusive ex and struggles with confidence and trauma. Austin is also broken in his own ways. They help put each other's broken parts back together. Even though this is book 4 of the Snow Pirates series there isn't much ice hockey in the plot.. Las really focuses on the two characters and their brokenness. This is a slow burn and builds slowly. And it is worth the wait!
Austin and Kenzie story was so good. I loved how patient he was with her. And always made sure she was fine before going more with her. Kenzie was willing to learn his lifestyle so they can become a couple. She went out of her comfort zone and it was great to see.
Yes, this story was a little different from her other stories in this series. But I enjoyed this so much. Every relationship is different in there own way and they made it work.
Austin is definitely goals how a man should treat a lady. Always praising her and showing Kenzie how he feels.
I love how Kenzie isn’t afraid to ask for what she wants.
Kenzie and Austin both grew as a person. And where able to let go expectations for both their family.
I just adored the friendship they both have. This story was so much more than I expected and completely blew me away.
Thank you to the author for an ARC of Two for Boarding!
This one surprised me in the best way! When I read the summary I was a little nervous that it might not be up my alley or that the spicy scenes would be too much but NO WAY! The Dom/Sub plot was actually really interesting and well done in this book! I felt like I was learning something about the community. ALSO Austin is 10/10 and the spice was very well done! I really liked the relationship between him and Kenzie as well as Kenzie's back story.
There isn't that much hockey in this hockey romance but I didn't mind that. It was about more than the hockey, he just happened to be a player on the Snow Pirates. You do get some funny/sweet team interactions still!
Another chance to catch up with the Snow Pirates Hockey Team and this time it’s Austin Morgan and MacKenzie ( Kenzie) Abbott’s steamy journey. If you love hockey romances you should certainly be reading this wonderful, entertaining series because I believe Ms McMaster’s has put herself up there amongst the great sports writers with her Snow Pirates. Austin is a Dom but a recent breakup has left him doubting his abilities, he knows Kenzie should be off limits because they work together but we can’t always control our heart and the attractions we feel. But will Kenzie be open to a Dom/sub relationship and more importantly will Austin take a chance on someone who has never explored the lifestyle he needs… The chemistry is off the charts, the story is full of love and passion but it was the BDSM knowledge that took this book to another level. If you have read BDSM romances you will know this lifestyle comes with it’s challenges, it’s comes with emotion but that’s all part of the enjoyment of this wonderful read. Looking forward to where we go next with one of my favourite hockey teams.
This is the 4th book of the series I've read and with each book I read I fall more and more for the snow pirates. Each of them along with their ladies shows that you should never judge a book by its cover. Just because someone is loud and cocky doesn't mean that they're not terrified on the inside. Lasairiona brings you into their world so much so you laugh with them, you cry with them and they steal a little piece of your heart. This book might not be everyone's boat but it's also about being stronger than you realize you are.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Another amazing book from Lasairiona. Although there isn't as much Ice Hockey, it has all the steamy romance (if not more) that you have come to expect from the books. I love Austin and Mackenzie and their journey! Thank you again Lasairiona!
I figured if I was going to read a book that had any reference to a sport it would be best to pick hockey – the only sport I enjoy watching. But once you get into this story, it is clear that the focus is not on the sport, but rather the new relationship between two very different, yet similar characters. Mackenzie (Kenzie) just made me cry at times as she seemed so broken from her past and it was a challenge to move on and rebuild her life. It hurt that she did not have the support of her family. But as broken as she was, she got strength from her move across the country, her new job and her two crazy best friends (They made me laugh so much). And then you have Austin the hockey player. He is a contradiction as his cage fighting and enforcer position on the hockey team vs his yoga practicing, minimalist Zen lifestyle. He does not have a good relationship with his father. And he has been badly hurt by his past relationships. As different as these two people are and the baggage, they both carry around, it should be a recipe for disaster, but it becomes apparent, very quickly that these two have a connection. It was beautiful watching Kenzie grow as an individual with Austin’s support and even when things got very difficult, they did not give up. It was very clear that these two needed each other and were good for each other. The entire story was not at all what I expected when I started a book that included a sport and had a kink component. A beautiful story for sure.
I received this book as an ARC for my honest review
In all transparency I was sent an arc of this book by the lovely Lasairiona herself but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Two for Boarding by Lasairiona E. McMaster is the fourth book in the Snow Pirates series (a connected standalone series that follows a new player on the Snow Pirates hockey team.) And it follows Austin and his romance with the teams Physiotherapist Mackenzie.
This is by far the best book in the snow pirate series though it is very different from the books that came before it.
When I got to the epilogue of this book I literally gasped and scream “noooo!” Because I did not want this book to be over. This book was so well written and the romance in it was to die for! I'm obsessed with the relationship between the two main characters and I think they have to be my favorite couple in this series. I know for sure that Austin is my favorite male from this series! I absolutely loved him! He has definitely made it high on my book boyfriend list. He was so sweet and caring, and we stan a man who knows how to communicate!! I would let Austin Morgan do ANYTHING he wants to me!
This book combines two of my favorite things to read about BDSM relationships and hockey. You can tell that she did a lot of research about the BDSM community which is wildly appreciated. There was also quite a bit more steam in this book than the others and I am totally here for it!
Overall, I adore this book! I can't wait to see what Lass does with her spin off series about the people from Protocol!
Well, Lasairiona McMaster has done it again y’all! And I’m pretty sure this is the spiciest one yet.
I loved this story. As always, Two for Boarding is written in dual POV, which I always enjoy. This book was no exception to that. Both Kenzie and Austin had important emotional journeys to take, and so I loved that we got to see each of those first-hand.
I thought Kenzie and Austin’s relationship was really beautiful. They were each able to be what they other needed, and help one another work through their baggage. Due to Austin’s nature, there is a big focus on kink and the dynamics of a dom/sub relationship, and if that’s not your thing that’s totally okay, but I’d say don’t dismiss it before trying it. The exploration of that relationship and of kink in general is pivotal to Kenzie’s self-discovery, and I really loved it.
One of my favourite things about McMaster’s books is that she allows her men to be emotional, and she didn’t fail me here. Austin may be a bit more outwardly stoic at times, but he’s also incredibly caring, nurturing and sweet. We also get to see him feel insecure, and sad, and I think that’s really important.
Kenzie is a Southern Spitfire of a heroine, and I immediately loved her. She's sassy, and strong, and so human and relatable. I think everyone could find some of themselves in her.
This book is an awesome blend of sweet and oh so very spicy (and what excellent spice it is), and I loved every minute of reading it.
TWO FOR BOARDING is the fourth book in the Snow Pirates Hockey series. This story will stand on its own without having read the previous books in the series.
Emotional, warm, loving, informative – this is the story of Mackenzie and Austin.
Mackenzie has run away from an abusive marriage in Texas and ended up in Minnesota as the physiotherapist for the college hockey team, the Snow Pirates. Her friends take her for a girls’ night out to Protocol – the local BDSM club – where she meets Austin. She has seen him before, at the ice rink, but this is the first that they really talk.
Austin is open, charming, and willing to take the time to educate Mackenzie in the lifestyle. He answers her questions. I love the deliberate slowness to not spook her.
Both Austin and Mackenzie have great support groups of friends that add humor to the story.
This is the first story I have read from Lasairiona McMaster. I’d love to read more, especially of these Snow Pirates!
Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC, my opinions are my own and are given freely.
Title: TWO FOR BOARDING Series: Snow Pirates Hockey #4 Category /Genre: Contemporary Romance, BDSM Recommended for: 18+ due to sexual content Grammar/editing: received as an unedited ARC / errors excused Received from: Lasairiona McMaster
Two for Boarding is my first book in this series and my first book by the author. I was introduced by Ivy Nelson's newsletter. I was intrigued by the idea of a pleasure dom. I can say I loved this story. Austin is an amazing strong character but also has insecurities he is fighting. Mackenzie is rebuilding her life after a major detour. He is there for her in ways no one has ever been before and that makes the idea of him leaving even more frightening.
I will say there is a lot of texting in this story. It is presented with a different font to make it clear, but if you don't like that, be forewarned.
The supporting characters brought life to the story. They are the champions for their friends and will not allow them to fail or avoid the issue. They also bring wonderful banter as they give their friends a hard time. The steam is top notch, but that is not the only way these characters connect. It was an emotional roller coaster as their relationship ebbs and flows during its development.
I received an advanced copy of this story and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
i received an ARC of this book from the author. In all honesty sports romance isn't my general fare but wow. I was grabbed by the blurb for this book and it was spot on. It is unusual to see such an apt description of the Dom in a book so well laid out. It fit Austin like a glove. His pleasure Dom was so well matched with Kenzie. Her sass was so incredibly well written and overly entertaining. I loved her new idea for the use of a fan. (guess you need to read it for this one) NO SPOILER HERE. The navigation of their journey as partners and individuals is so astutely portrayed here that I felt like I was living the story line. This story flows in a believable pace, with the right degrees of angst, steam and sensual intensity. You might desire a day off from life so that you can just enjoy this book. It was nothing short of amazing. I am now planning to go back to the first book in this series and read them all. I am grateful that I was given the opportunity with the ARC to enjoy this genre and a new (to me) author.
