Great Read
This is my first read by this author, but defintely, not my last. Held my attention from beginning to end and what a ending. Enjoyed the storyline and these characters. It flowed so smoothly at a steady pace. I couldn't put this book down, I'd finished before I realized it. The more I read, the better it got, kept pulling me into the storyline. That last chapter and the ending, got me wondering what's happening next and who's wearing the clown mask. Great job Miss Jazzie.

I found this story because of another book by the author. When I say this couple’s (Zenobia & mahsyn) interactions were as erratic and confusing as the actions and words that came from Mahsyn, it was toxicity at its finest. The story moved well. I’m invested in their outcome and am looking forward to what’s next. 3.5

Great read
A romantic hood storyline with excellent character development. I enjoyed and recommend this five star read. Excited to find out what happens in part 2. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

Story all over the place
This story lacked consistency. If the story was written to have the character speaking to the audience, the thoughts were incomplete, it jumped around and wasn’t complete. How she go from cooking and leaving plates in the microwave to only staying with Magnolia a day. The story could have been good if the story had a consistent time line and didn’t jump around so much. Maybe the next installment will be better

The Truth Makes All The Difference In A Relationship!
Miss Jazzie you did your thing! I loved how Zenobia cared for her brother when her mom lost her will to take care of her children she chose drugs over them. Zenobia brother Zerese was her heart between Zenobia and her best friend Amerika they made sure Zerese was taken care of.
Amerika dealt with the head of a gang Shaka who was a vengeful chump. Amerika worked at the strip club and she also messed with the owner who just so happened to be the boss from the rival gang.
Amerika and Jah both had trust issues and neither one knew what it felt like to give themselves to another person. They found a safe place between the two and realized they had fallen in love.
Zenobia, met Magnolia and he tried to stay away from Zenobia but he couldn't even though he knew he was living a lie with her he still wouldn't let her go. He knew the life he lived and he didn't want Zenobia to get caught up in his street life.
Unfortunately, both of them fell for each other and the love they shared while in their bubble was great outside of the bubble was where the issues started. Now the war is on Amerika and Jah are in danger, Zenobia is gone and Magnolia world has been turned upside down, should he have been upfront and truthful with Zenobia absolutely, but once he knew she loved him and he loved her he just didn't want her to leave him.

Make it make sense
Mahsyn running an empire with information at the ready. Yet he rode on her being too young, not taking into account that life forced her to grow up way to soon given her circumstances. He so grown but his emotional intelligence ran low given how he moved. Their story lacked true intimacy because significant information was not communicated. Frankly, it is tiring that many authors often choose to build characters that don’t display basis relationship skills. Why can’t the conflict come from outside forces rather than communicate failure.
Considering what happened to the RN, westbank ain’t about it. How does a leader catch a murder charge and the hustlers don’t take care of family? Should’ve he still be running crap from the bars? The lack of activity appears to an indication of him being set up by the Hustlers for another to rule. There was no communication with him and his families. Just make it make sense.
We besties yet I withhold my knowledge of Zyrese’s paternity because I don’t want you to think I withheld it from you. Just make it make sense.
No one heard of paper, semi-gloss paint, or cleanser.

Decent Read
This seriously had the potential to be great but there were quite a few grammatical error's that took away from the story for me. Zhena chose addiction over Zenobia and Zyrese. When she did decide to get herself together it was only because she had done something that put her life in danger or so I thought. I truly believe it was more to what happened to her and that drug's didn't play a part. It wasn't hard to figure out who Shaka was to little Zyrese. The sign's were there and he kinda gave it away with his dislike for Zenobia and Amerika should've told Zenobia what Shaka said. I believe it may affect their friendship if she find out on her own. Mahsyn really had no business messing with Zenobia but sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants. He have a whole other life that she didn't know about. Five Star Read
This book had me captivated from the beginning to the end. Mannnn I can't wait for part two. I love Magnolia, it's always the crazy ones for me. Zenobia is his peace but he has no problem going to war for her or with her. I wish he would have told her the truth from the beginning, now his fear has become an reality but in more ways than one. I wish he would have at least put Candyse in her place but I guess that KO worked. Who tha f**K wearing these clown masks. I love Jah and Amerika also. These couples are so toxic but they bring the best outta each other. I hope Jah and Amerika is alright cause Magnolia bout to make the world bleed.💛💛

Babyyyy this here gave me life! Toxicity was at an all time high. Magnolia, Nobby, Amerika and Jah all darn crazy. They fit each other too well. I just knew Candyce was gone show the hell out but couldnt even hold her own. Idk why Amerika didn't tell Nobby Shaka was Zyrese dad. Hell he was already dead and gone. Yh, their relationship wouldn't be the same but shoots better her tell her than her finding out on the streets. All really isn't fair in love and war. Mahsyn gone make the streets bleed black over Nobby and Jah! Come on part 2!

He right he told her not to fall, but he ain’t make that shit easy for her either. All he had to do was be up front from the jump! Team Nobby
This was a really good book & i cant wait to read part two. I love Zenobias strength and how being a big girl aint stopping nothing! The love that she has for her brother and the friendship between her and Amerika is like no other. Im definitely rooting for her success in everything. Eventhough Magnolia and Jah are truly crazy, I think they are good for the girls. It wouldnt be a good story if there were no jealous females or turf war brewing...and the author truly delivered.

The book was just ok. The beginning dragged on a little, but it picked up and the storyline got interesting. It’s written in omniscient pov, which made it hard for me to decipher what one storyline had to do with the other. I was confused by the time I made it to the 30% mark and that’s when I just gave up on the story. Overall, very basic vocabulary used to describe (almost) sex scenes. It irked me that the author did so much teasing, only to let me down. I won’t write this author off just yet, but I just couldn’t get into this book like I wanted to.

Mahsyn knew he was dead wrong for living a double life. Zenobia was at her lowest and she let her guards down for Mahsyn. He should’ve been honest and I pray he’ll be able save her Zenobia once again. Amerika is a good friend but she just too touchy feels but she will buss her guns for her friend’s safety. This was a very good book. Magnolia's crazy self has something on his hands with Zenobia (Chunky) cause she is not playing any games with him. I really hate that he wasn't honest with her from the beginning. I hope Jah and Amerika survive, but either way, there is going to be a lot of blood shed behind this. I'm eagerly waiting on part 2 to see Mahsyn/Magnolia reaction is going to be when he finds out somebody got his Chunky.

This book was so good from beginning to end I love Magnolia and Zenobia relationship. I think he should of told her and the way he acted in the hospital was a no for me then turn around and beg in the bathroom just crazy . Jah should of left or had his shooters with him definitely not having sex in the car knowing they had beef with the west side. Both Zenobia and Amerika should of listen and she shouldn’t have went back can’t wait for part2

I'm so upset it took me so long to read this series. Mahsyn aka Magnolia is something else. He couldn't handle Zenobia aka Chunky the way he handled everybody else. It's crazy how he kept telling her that she was to young and didn't need to be with him but he wouldn't let anybody else have her. I hope Amerika aka Bubbles and Jahare' aka Jah make it through. So patiently waiting for the next book in this series.

This book was banging. Miss Jazzie did her thing. First time reading from this author… Mahsyne was bae. I like Zenobia she didn’t take no mess. She was young but she held her on. Zenobia is ruthless I understand though she had a troubled child hood. Magnolia should have told her the truth from jump but if she. Was really one to forgive she can't fault him for his kids. Is kind of toxic in her own way. Amerika and Jah are a match made in the hood. Both crazy as hell and don't give a damn. This story was a good one I enjoyed the characters in it. Very entertaining

Definite 5 star!!! I was captured from the first chapter and couldn't and didn't let up until the last page. I love a book that holds a good storyline and doesn't jump all around and end up being a mess. I followed every single chapter and it was all written in succession. This was a Love story like no other..Magnolia knew he should hve stayed away from Zenobia..their love was forbidden from the start.
She definitely has a True Friend in Amerika who had her back no matter what..this was a very good read..Jah & Magnolia loved hard but the girl loved even harder..can't wait for pt2..🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
