It’s actually one of the better transmigration stories where the multiple transmigrators don’t try to kill each other. The female MC is intelligent using her knowledge of her past modern life to upgrade the life of herself and her family in the ancient era. The interactions and subplots are entertaining and so are the secondary characters. Few evil relatives and lots of foodies makes it a lighter novel. The drama and comedy sections are balanced with some minor action added. It’s worth reading once just to drool on the Chinese regional delicacies and for the feel good ending. 5/5

Beautiful.
However, it's loooooooong. A lot of patience is needed to read over 730 chapters, and each chapter is a lot longer compared to other Chinese novel I've read previously. Even a fast reader like me needed a good 2 weeks to finish it.
Personally I really enjoyed it and couldn't help but feel emotional and melancolic as I read the last chapter, even shed a few ( ) tears, which doesn't happen often.
It's clear how much thought and effort the author put into this novel.

I found this story quite unique, as this is the first transmigration story where the MC met other transmigrators and actually get along with them.

The interaction between the MC and her new family is really sweet and heartwarming. Although she's quite reliant on her "cheat", the way she almost single-handedly build her business and reputation from scratch deserve an applause. Oh, and there's A LOT of food involved, so I don't recommend reading this on an empty stomach. In fact, I found myself reaching out for food several times when I was reading this story, lol.

A satisfying read, and I hope I can find other stories from this author.

This novel has gread story and development. The novel has really great beginning. quite dragged on the middle, but the conclusion and epilogue redeemed it's cons. Story paced quite slow at the beginning and sometime fast paced and slow at the middle and end. But overall really good story

Nice read, would've liked it better if it wasn't so Mary-Sue-ish. Very good compared to other novels of this type though.
