I like to flirt with trouble, and I always get what I want. All it took was a bit of liquor and a playful taunt between my best friend, Remi, and Julia, my wife. Then what I wanted was them. Together. Bound and beneath me. And it was better than I could’ve imagined. The three of us? We were perfect. Earth-shattering. Addicting. And buckets full of trouble. Now I just have to convince Remi that we are worth fighting for.
Amanda Faye currently resides in Atlanta with her high school sweetheart and husband of 15 years and their 4 amazing children.
She's had a passion for reading and writing since she was a child. She stole her first romance novel from her mother at age 12 and hasn't looked back since.
You could say being a Reeder is in her blood. (Family joke)
A MMF erotica, that I had a pretty good time reading! Wasn’t anything out of this world, but felt myself getting into a lil reading slump and wanted to read something HOT—okay, yeah that was pretty much the only requirement💀🤭, and this did the trick, so no complaints!
Actually, love the 3 main characters—Remington, Justin, and Jules—and moving on to book 2 bc Remington needs to quit it and just be with them already bc Jules and Justin love him so freaking much, it’s so cute, so enough of the push and pull sir, pls and thank u!!😫
Living the good life; married to the girl of your dreams, having a great friend, job, house, everything. But what if… you want more… Justin loves his wife Julia, but the feelings for his friend Remi are changing into something different. Bound tells the first part of Justin, Julia and Remi’s story, it has been an ‘intense read’.
Justin, Julia and Remi come from very different families, but what they have in common is coming from money. This gives them the opportunity to do what they want. Well, for the most. Justin and Julia are happily married and spending their days doing what they love. Remi on the other hand is pressured into following into his father’s footsteps. He doesn’t want it, but he feels he has to. The three of them spend a lot of time together, and suddenly lust (and love) changes the dynamic.
Julia and Justin have great chemistry and are very much in love, but something feels missing. And that something is somebody: their best friend Remi. Remi has the same feelings for his friends, but he’s a little more hesitant. A relationship between two people is what society considers normal, but that’s not what works for these three. They have to learn how to be together, trusting each other in a different role. And that’s not easy.
I know this author for her sweet stories. And boy, this is something different. If you’re not into MMF stories, stay away! Justin, Julia and Remi are hot together, they know what they want and are not afraid to experiment. Bound is a (very) sexy story about three friends who want to be together in every way. It’s also the first part of the ‘Then There Were Three trilogy’, I can’t wait for the other two parts.
I am not one to normally gush or even write reviews of books I have read, but this book is the best reason to break my rules.
To start off, this IS a MMF BDSM story. It is not your run of the mill Boy/Girl Meet Cute easy happy ever after snooze fest. Even if this type of story has never interested you before, this is still an amazing book and well worth the read. And who knows you may even find a new genre that interests you.
The characters that Amanda Faye has created are all complex and relatable, she has crafted them in such a way that even if a chapter is one character’s point of view you still know all the thoughts and feelings of the others. You know this because you will have those same thoughts and feelings yourself. You WILL laugh with them. You WILL cry with them. Your heart WILL swell and break with theirs. In addition, she approaches every topic (mental health, race, dysfunctional family relationships) with such care and consideration that it is never a lesson or lecture just simply an understanding of the truth.
I originally read this book on a different platform and have not stopped gushing about it. I have read (at least my favorite parts) 5-6 times before this was released! I guarantee that you will be reading your favorite parts over and over because you will never get enough.
My only word of advice is if you are reading this book before the 2nd book (Broken) have been released and you do not handle cliffhangers well (I do not) you might want to wait to read the final chapter until 2nd book is released. If book 2 is out, then enjoy the cliffhanger and have book 2 ready in the wings. I for one cannot wait.
What an amazing, spicy, sweet, and heartbreaking beginning to this trilogy. Julia is one lucky lady to have 2 devoted men to not only her but to each other as well. Justin is the all American golden boy. He loves his beautiful wife Julia unconditionally and will do anything to make her happy. Remi is our dark and broody man who works way too hard and does not play enough. These 3 are beautiful together and make each other undeniably happy. I will not divulge anything else, but please know you need to be prepared for the roller coaster of emotions that you are guaranteed to have while reading this book.
This story…sigh… the highest highs and the hearting lowest lows are captured in this story. I loved all the little scenes, the slices-of-life, that built together to portray the picture that is the love between Remi, Julia and Justin. Plus, I learned a new word of the day (concupiscence) which I will strive to use with some frequency. But that all pales with this ending… ack… my heart is BREAKING! I read and I read late into the night, tears slipping down my checks. Sigh, sigh… how can they ever have a happy ending? Please, please, please, let the next book in this trilogy (Broken) come out soon!
This is an easy book to be drawn into, and once it hooks you, it doesn't let go. The depth of emotion, the complexity of the characters, and the potential that they all have together, for happiness and chaos, all make for a compelling read. There's plenty of heat and plenty of feelings and plenty of potential: be warned, however, about the cliffhanger ending-- there's more yet to come, and I for one can't wait.

This was a roller coaster of a story. Julia and Justin loved each other but felt a little need for something more. Their friend Remington was always by their sides since college. With a little push, the three of them found love and an intimate connection, though this book did not end on a happy note. There are two more stories to come. I loved Justin's lack of inhibitions in all he did and said. Julia was a bit more reserved, but she complemented Justin well. Remington was the weaker of the three in his comfort within their triad. I enjoyed the three of them and look forward to the continuation of their tale.
I received a copy of this story through The Hatters Services, and this is my unsolicited review.
WOW. This is one steamy book, the author doesn’t make you wait till the 50% mark for things to get HOT.
Three best friends, all of privilege. The grad-student husband, the artist wife and their workaholic best friend. The three spend all their spare time together, Remi even has his own bedroom in Justin and Julia's house. But after years of friendship things change, desire changes and is acted upon, changing everything.
What starts as fun, quickly becomes so much more. But we don't all get everything we won't once life outside the bedroom gets an insight, Remi knows this better than anyone.
I was drawn into this story as soon as I read the blurb. It sounded hot as h@ll, but I found myself wondering how (if) they could make it work. Would 'Society' find out and what would happen if other people knew? The book was even better than I hoped! Love and heart-break, pleasure and angst, so enjoyable to read. I see the second book is due out in October. I hope the third follows soon after. I am already needing to know how it ends.
I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.
Justin and Julia are a happily married couple of means, able to pursue their interests without the pesky responsibility of normal life. While they are very much in love and have amazing chemistry, their best friend, Remington (Remi), is a welcome addition to their lives in all aspects. Also from money, Remi has certain familial expectations that cause him to second guess his feelings for and attraction to his friends. All of the characters are well-written and relatable, and the dramatic notes are realistic. This is a delightful MMF storyline, and I can’t wait for the next installment!
Amanda Faye NEVER disappoints me. I have hands down read every title of hers and this one has definitely made it’s way to the top of my list. Not only his her writing spectacular, but the emotion, the angst, the steam—gahhh it’s so good. I love all three, Justin, Julia, and Remi, but hands down, Remi is my favorite. I love a broken male character, one who is so set in his ways that he can’t even see how broken he is.
I met Amanda through a FB group and she talked about her baby so I had to give it a read. And you will not be disappointed. This book has everything drama, controversy, love, and lots of steamy scenes. And I count the days till I get my next dose of Remi, Justin and Julia.
Well, that one put me through the ringer. My heart has been pulled in a hundred directions. The steam, the angst, the heartbreak, the love - I have no words to describe my emotions after that book.
Just when Steve from Blues Clues makes his great announcement, this pops up, and back come all my feels 🙄🤣😉 holy moley, I remember the first time Amanda messaged me asking for help, and we haven't stopped since 🤣 I'm so glad she came to me, that she wanted to represent the BDSM/kink community to the best of her ability, that she chose *me* to help her 😩 getting to help bring a story to life in any capacity is a privilege and I'm so blessed to have met Amanda and our babies through this project 😘
As someone who's tried the whole "triad" thing a couple times - both of which failed - I know that this is no easy endeavor. To love every partner equally but differently while also having individual relationships with them, to trust not only one person with your entire self but two - let alone find some semblance of submission. I applaud these three for the love they've found, I cheered and laughed, cried and had my heart broken - but I understood. I've been there, and I know what soulmates are, so I know my babies will be back together soon 😍🔐
**As a beta reader, I received a free copy of this book in exchange for feedback. I loved it so much that I had to write this review.**
Caution: this Bisexual Ménage Romance contains sex scenes that are hot. as. hell. including but not limited to: MM, MF and MMF sex scenes, dom/sub and dom/sub/sub scenes, bondage, subspace (both male and female), edging, DP, DVP, pegging, and a MMF chain. This story ends on a cliffhanger – no happily ever after YET, and in more ways than one you will be left begging for more!!
Bound follows the story of Justin, Julia and Remington, three members of upper society who have been best friends since college. Justin and Julia fall in love and get married, but eventually the feelings that Justin and Julia have for Remi, and that Remi has for Justin and Julia, can no longer be ignored.
I’d like to start out by saying that this book starts with one of the hottest f***ing sex scenes I’ve ever read. No kidding. Page 1, straight into it. Following that is the start of Justin, Julia and Remi’s story. We get to see how good they are together and are then taken back to the beginning, where they flirt and develop their feelings, have their freak-outs, and come to terms with the idea of being in a poly-relationship.
Bound has action, angst and emotion that goes so far beyond the sex scenes. Each character has their own unique traits and quirks: Justin, with his near single-minded focus on loving and pleasing his wife; Julia, who grew up without love or social interaction and so doesn’t understand sarcasm or other social conventions. And Remington Lancaster the III, who carries the weight of his father’s abuse, his family’s legacy, and the many other struggles facing a young, black, bisexual and now polyamorous man in a predominantly rich, white, heterosexual world. I have come to absolutely love these characters through their stories, to the point that it feels like I’ve been living in New York with them. I’m invested in them and am desperate to see them live happily ever after.
I am not going to be the same after reading this book. I’ve had my heart buoyed up, broken, put together again, and then ripped out. Amanda Faye, if you could get straight on to writing book two please, that would be great!! I’m not going to be able to rest until Remington, Justin and Julia get their Happily Ever After. JJemi 4eva!!!!
I finished reading this book and felt compelled to leave a review. Bound, the first installment of the Then There Were Three trilogy is chock-full of well-written hot and steamy sex scenes. This book explores the difficulties of being in a triad, which is a sexually active partnership between three people. This book will leave you wanting more, at least it did for me, which is good because there are two more parts to read. The rawness of the emotional moments in this story tore me apart, leaving me hanging by a thread, but it still managed to make me feel as if I was flying with the characters' love. Overall, this is a fantastic book that I wholeheartedly recommend.
😭 I'm broken I was not sure what to expect going into this - I'm not even sure how to move forward at the moment
I was easily transported into this story. It's hard to explain but my first thought was it felt like I was in a dream - like I was physically there and part of the story but I wasn't Something about the characters, the way the story presented - It felt surreal at times Again it is hard to put into words how easily I connected and became a part of this trio's journey
Remington is trapped in a role he didn't ask for. His father is a taskmaster who gives no quarter Julia and Justin are his safe haven. A place he can be himself The three click on every level - emotionally, physically Each asking what is the harm in adding one more benefit to their friendship?
Their love story was tangible Sensual Beautiful Emotional Raw There were moments of laughter, self-discovery, acceptance, rejection So many feelings So much to absorb
This ends with heartbreak 💔 But I have to believe that what they share? The depth of their love for each other ... Will overcome any prejudices Any obstacle
This book delivers a gripping mix of heat, heart, and high stakes emotion from the very first page. Justin’s narration is magnetic confident, messy, deeply human and the dynamic between him, Remi, and Julia is written with surprising tenderness beneath all the intensity.
What makes this story stand out is how effortlessly it blends desire with genuine emotional turmoil. The chemistry between the trio is undeniable, but it’s the vulnerability Justin’s determination, Remi’s hesitation, Julia’s grounding presence that makes their connection feel real and worth rooting for.
The tension is addictive, the storytelling is bold, and the characters are layered enough that you can’t help but care about where their unconventional relationship leads. It’s a daring, deliciously trouble filled ride that still manages to hit you right in the feelings.
An absolute five star read for fans of character driven poly romance with heat and heart.
This is the 1st book in a new trilogy and is an MMF romance story. Justin, Julia, and Remi are all wealthy and from the upper crust of society. Justin and Julia are married, and Remi is their best friend, and over time the dynamics within the group has changed into more as the amount of time they are together increases. This is a well written story which is heartwrenching, and with undeniable chemistry, angst, emotions, drama, turmoil, controversy, and love, which leads to a steamy and addictive page turner. I look forward to reading the next book in this awesome trilogy, and I highly recommend this talented authors’ work.
I enjoyed the story. My only complaint was there was way too much smexy time and too little interaction between the characters. I needed more story and relationship development even though we know they have been in love for a while without realizing it.
The too much smexy times just become too boring to read and I start to skim over it in stead of devouring every word. I love smexy times, dont get me wrong, but a good story needs a balance where smexy time have it's place and not be the focal point.
A very emotional journey with Justin and Julia married and their friend Remi considering taking their relationships much farther. The storyline has plenty of drama, interesting situations, chemistry, hard emotions, indecisions and romance. The story grips you right from the start and holds on tight. The storyline will continue into the next book, so can not wait to read what happens next.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book broke me, put me back together and then broke me again. 11/10 would recommend.
I’m so very in love with Remi, he’s just so beautifully broken and convoluted. And then Justin who’s just a ball of sunshine but then NOT! And Julia who’s the best of both worlds living the best life tbh - I wanna be her.
I’m now on my way to read Broken to see if it’s going to put me back together or just keep with the theme and shatter me a bit more.
I'm not one to normally comment but, OH MY is the book AMAZING! Very few times have I been thrown off guard with a book. This story took me on a roller-coaster of emotions. The bond, the love these 3 share is something so special. I feel like I can't do the author justice being that I'm not good with words to express just how much I enjoyed the first book! I love juicy romance but this...❤️🔥❤️🔥
Beautifully written and keeps you very intrigued with them story line and characters. Gives you real life insight into the way people felt and how they dealt with their experiences. Love Amanda's writing, thank you so much for your insight and in depth feels
This has to be one of the most attention grabbing authors I have ever read. She is polished, balanced and leaves her readers wanting more. If you thought book 1 was good wait til you start book 2.
