Cute premise with lots of humor. Bakery owners who are clairs, six types of psychic talents. Throw in vampires, werewolves and the undead, and you have the making for lots of trouble.
Plot holes, huge crater dinosaur life ending ones, and omissions galore. The father died, mentioned a lot, including even the can see dead people seer does not see him, no explanation and no conjecture. The shifter that had owned tho hotel that turned out not to have died, no mention until much later about the wife and children and and magical powers, not about all the secret passages the wife would have known about, yet she was never suspect in the murder. Story after jumbled mess, plot holes, nonsensical so called endings, sloppy.
The story started off well enough. Another mystery for the psychic sisters to solve, however there were areas where the story just jumped ahead and I felt like I had missed part of the story. Worst of all is the ending. Several strands of the story are mentioned, again with the sense you missed part of the story and then it simply ends in what feels like the middle of a paragraph. Sooo annoying.
I loved the series. It's awesome! The bonding between the sisters and the psychic powers of each of them is simply amazing. Ember and her sisters solve various mysteries with the help of their psychic gifts. Too good. I could not take my eyes off reading this series. Brilliant work.
I enjoyed the series. They had very original crimes. The characters are quite a mixed paranormal bag, but they definitely retain a lot of their human frailties. The last one ended with quite a bang.
These books were so good I couldn't put them down until I read them all!! Family problems memories and tears and mystery and love stories ! Love these stories!! A must read everyone!! Watching A.Gardner for my next read!!
Well written and engrossing Didn’t get any housework done at all - kept me turning pages ( or swiping) love the characters and the surprises along the way - let me know about season 2 - in the meantime I will be baking :)
I loved the family dynamics of the books. I read them one after another because I HAD to see what they got into next. I loved that there were no cuss words in the books. That made them even more enjoyable.
This series is a true mystery, well written with very little bad language in it which is something I really appreciate. It is a book anyone can read just for fun and relaxation and truly enjoy.
Loved all the books in the series. Hard to stop reading. Will read more from this author and I have recommended this series to two friends who feel the same asi.
