great story, but had more potential, the book felt a little short... and heroine's lust pissed me off a bit...

i liked the hero and how he was at the start but the story itself felt rushed and as if i missed a whole lot in their lives... they hated each other and boom.. suddenly they loveeee each other..*smh!!!*

but all in all a nice one time read...

Alessandro needs to strengthen his Mafia, as the last of his family left he figures a marriage is the way to go. Sienna always knew she wouldnt get to marry for love but when her father chooses Alessandro the last person she can wants to share her life with let alone her bed but when Sienna discovers a secret it puts her in jeopardy can the man who makes her feel things and want things she never imagined save her? This is well written with an engaging story line and in depth characters

I feel dirty

I gave this book 3 stars because I am not kidding that it made me feel gross. And I like some BDSM as much as the next reader but no. It’s not so much what he did because honestly that was actually tame. But how and when he did it was uncomfortable. That being said, the plot was good. It was but there were missed connections. Like something big happened and but there was no explanation for it. And then the ending. I like a good epilogue and she falls flat there too.

A very steamy and dark romance! Alessandro seems so aloof, cold and calculating but he eventually softens to Sienna. Sienna is much stronger than she looks. They both have incredible chemistry together, albeit quite rough but steamy hot. This entertaining romance has some excitement which I found very enjoyable to read.

Sienna was not happy being a mafia princess and would rather do something with her life than just be a piece of property. Alessandro has a dark side. I liked the story and how it played out. I read the first couple of chapters and knew I needed to read more. I know this is not for everyone but I liked it.

There is more to Sienna than just a pretty face. She has a brain and fortitude that will see her through whatever this life may bring. Reading this was a walk on the dark side that lets you explore along with Sienna and Alessandro.

Ok

Only three stars. I felt little connection with the two main characters.The short chapters going from One to the other irritated me and felt I wanted more interaction. But I did like Evelyns writing and will look out for more

What was that??

Where to start .......I did enjoy the the main characters. The story line was nice, however I feel like the story was left unfinished. It felt super rushed from the half way mark and left me with a lot of unanswered questions.

Alessandro is a Mafia Don, the last in his family. He puts a plan together so he can make a deal with another Don in his area, by marrying his daughter, and he knows just the way to it.

All he wants is to find out who wiped out his father and brothers, but it becomes more complicated than that. Sienna, his now wife, finds something in her fathers office which leads to her being kidnapped.

It’s a story with many twists and turns and to be honest, although I enjoyed it, it seemed like something was missing.

Not for me

I’m afraid I only read so far and then skimmed the rest of the book.

It was more 2.5 for me, but as always, read yourself and make your own mind up.

Loved the book it was great, the story was written well and the characters were interesting. I loved how Alessandro worked out the security system, then stayed up in the tree and looked through binoculars he watched Sienna in her bedroom and also watched the coming and goings of his enemies. Even though she was thrown into the marriage and he was only doing it to use her it all worked out amazing. The chemistry and the dark sizzling romance between Alessandro and Sienna was hot and steamy. OMG the secret that Alessandro found out I did not expect that.
