Even though the witining was childish sometimes, I absolutely loved this book. The storyline, the fast romance and the friendship.

BUT THE END, THE END HAD ME SOBBING. I'M STILL NOT OVER IT.

the writing was childish a lot of the time or extremely rushed at times where you wanted more depth. there wasnt a smooth progression with their relationship, it was just the typical “i am a bad man but you have changed me” in the fastest way possible :/

BUT I STILL MANAGED TO CRY SO MUCH AT THE ENDING DESPITE ALL OF THAT😭😭 i did see people saying it was a sad ending and i didnt expect to be touched at all bec i disliked the writing style so much for numerous reasons, but nevertheless it still affected me💔

I loved it.
I remember sobbing my eyes out and my dad laughing at me and then giving me the biggest hug ever. He is used to it now 😂

One I will always cherish because it was the book that got me in to mafia romance ❤️

the book was honestly ok. some parts of the book did not add up, like how sofia's dad arranged the marriage and how ace and sofia were supposed to meet for the first time at the gala but later in the book when ace said he chose her and how he saw her expression drop when she looked at her dad, idk but to me just seems a little off, and how shes scared of her dad and she just gets abused then suddenly she is a whole new person throwing knives, but yeah i thought sofia was ok personality wise, she can seem like a pick-me sometimes but yeah onto the better parts in the book the beginning had me absolutely hooked i finished the book in 4 days bc it was decent. BUT THE ENDING THOOOOO it literally had me crying for 2 days straight ngl part of me wanted to see ace and sofia raise jaxon together but the end where ace is a single daddy is kinda cute tho but just imagine seeing someone who taught you how to love just die out in your arms. also im pretty sure it was haze who killed sofia at the end.

This book was amazing I have reread it many times. The writing was a little all over the place sometimes very mature and sometimes a little childish but this book made me sob and fall in and out of love with ace.

This fic I started last night and have already finished all 100 chapters by 3:30 today. Needless to say this fic was OUTSTANDING! I have not read many mafia fics yet but based off what I have read this is absolutely one of the my favs! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
