Grant walked away from fameat the height of his career and Jessa wants to know why. I loved this story so much. The banter between them was so good. When Jessa jumps to the wrong conclusion about something, she runs before Grant has the chance to explain. Will they comes to their senses and realize what they have us real?

Another great addition to this series!

Grant was a wonderful character. He was a talented artist who just wanted the quiet life that his farm gave him. He was a hard worker, and a fair boss. I like that he also said whats on him mind and didn't apologize for it. At times he did come across as a little abrupt to Jessa but when he knew that she was really scared, she was firm but caring.

Jessa was a very determined woman. At first I couldn't tell if I was going to like her. I don't like pushy journalist who demand artist to give them the details of something personal when in all actually, its none of our business. It was fun to watch her grow on the farm and conquer some of her fears. I liked that she was someone who could stand up for herself even if the situation could have gone very bad for her.

I like that Grant and Jessa's relationship was a slow burn. I liked that while they were very interested physically in each other, they didn't particularly like each other at first. This lead to some very fun conversations, especially the one about a particular word that Jessa doesn't like to which Grant asked if was framed in a different way, would she mind it?

I went to Clifton to get an interview with a famous country star that quit at the height of his for without any reason. The first meeting didn’t go well and I was thrown off his property. The second meeting went better and I was offered a chance if I could become a ranch hand for 30 days he would give me the interview and I could stay in his house. The first morning I had to roll out of bed to be in the barn by 5 am was hard but the job of a ranch hand was hard and used muscles I did know I had. Oh and did I mention I had been near a horse and I was terrified of then? The 3 rd day I was supposed to ride the fence to check for breaks but didn’t know how to ride a horse and I was afraid of them.

Great!

I chose this rating because this was actually a pretty great book. I really enjoyed pretty much all of the characters. So maybe accept a few. This was a book of compassion, kindness, hearing, individuality, being accepted, and falling in love. I really enjoyed Grant and Jessa story. I think the author did a great job putting these characters together even though they both were really stubborn. They both balanced each other out. Great read! I recommend this book to all cowboy lovers and romance readers.

Cousins

If people would just let everyone know their secrets life could be goo. People would stop jumping to conclusions. I was also wondering what the secret was. You make for a great mystery writer. Not scary books but love. Thought I could slow down. I've been reading a book a day. You are killing these love scenes. Do they have real men like this in Montana? You are working this.

Grant is a country music star but has retired and moved home. Jessa works for a country magazine and wants to interview Grant to find out why he left.
Jessa agrees to work on the ranch to get the interview.
Grant and Jessa have started a relationship and this has caused problems for Jessa from a couple of the men. Will she make it 30 days?
Love these Clifton men.

Surprising

A journalist is determined to get an interview with a retired country singer who is just as determined to get rid of her. Their love story was surprisingly fun.
