Sapphire Falls #5

Getting Lucky

Rate this book
Length: 9 hrs and 41 mins

TTJ Bennett knows one thing for certain - being in love isn't for him. Been there, done that, has the scars to prove it.

But that's before he meets colorful, sweet, slightly kooky Hope Daniels.

Hope is in town only temporarily. She simply wants to have a cup of coffee with the father she's never known. That's it. She doesn't need to buy any Father's Day cards or have a date for any father-daughter dances. She just wants to have a conversation with the man who stole her mother's heart 26 summers ago in Sapphire Falls.

But when her directions lead her to TJ's house instead, everything becomes a lot more complicated...and a lot more interesting.

Because there's nothing like a big gruff introvert to push this extrovert's let-me-make-it-all-better buttons.

All of TJ's plans to stay uninvolved and out of her way evaporate quickly, and before he knows it Hope's got him thinking differently about everything - family, home, heartbreak, and maybe, just maybe, the fact that he's never actually been in love...before now.

In this sweet and sexy story, TJ has pretty much had it with love. He's been there, done that and is still somehow the one his ex turns to for help. In fact he's the one everyone knows they can count on to be there for them in a pinch. When Hope comes to town, with the idea of recreating her mother's wonderful summer in Sapphire Falls many years earlier (and perhaps meeting the father she never knew), TJ's instincts kick in and despite himself, he can't help but want to be there for Hope even though more drama is the last thing he needs in his life. But when Hope tries to show him that she could be there for him too, will he be able to let down his guard and let her in?

I loved this story! I've been waiting for TJ Bennett to get the girl of his dreams, and the joke's kind of on him that the girl he falls for is someone he would never have dreamed of in a million years! Yet what makes her perfect for him is that she sees behind his gruff exterior and knows exactly what he wants and needs (even if he doesn't know it himself). TJ is wonderful as a protective, loyal, hardworking and quiet man. Having him get knocked for a loop by Hope with her earnestness, her smile and her enjoyment in life at large was great to see, and left me with a permanent smile on my face the whole way through. Despite their differences, they click from their first meeting and the sexual attraction between them won't be denied, leading to some steamy love scenes that have heat and sweetness combined. As always, the rest of the Sapphire Falls gang is there in full force, to show their support of TJ and to encourage his fledgling relationship with Hope. It's always wonderful to read about this small town, and even if you haven't before, you'll fall in love with the crazy couples and want to read the rest of the series. Lots of laughs, family togetherness and sexy heat in this latest visit to Sapphire Falls. 5 stars.

I tried to like this, I really did. I have liked this author before. But I HATED both TJ and Hope. Hated. With a passion.

TJ - total doormat. His exwife cheated, lied about their baby being his when it wasn't, left him, was sexually toxic...and he jumped and ran for every fucking thing she needed...because he's a protector? Gross. Nope. Doormat. Also, we find out he has two current fuckbuddies in rotation. Sorry, but that makes the heroine #3 this month and I'm not a fan of men carrying on multiple relationships at the same time...just not my thing. Also, and this part killed me...he watched his ex berate and SLAP the heroine, but when the fight was broken up he left with the EX to take HER home to be sure SHE was ok...what in the everloving fuck am I reading? Then the heroine thinks its ok and he's great for doing it (even though his friends say he's a douche) and she desperately wants to have sex when he returns...which leads me to Hope.

Hope - is she a hippy? Is she faking? She flipflops about whether she is or isn't and what she believes all throughout the book. She is prancing around topless within an hour of meeting TJ, then naked for naked yoga. She basically spends the whole book trying to get him in bed. Oh, and after his ex slaps her...she begs to be with him, promises to have sex any way he wants "to take care of him for once" and is just as big a doormat. Final nail in her coffin...when they end up together one thing she asks TJ for is for her to have a heart to heart with his ex so they have more boundaries for when she calls for his help. WHAT?!?! She's evil, cruel, physically and emotionally abusive, HAS HER OWN HUSBAND...and you are ok with her calling TJ? Yes, he's so wonderful for continuing to enable a toxic relationship....gag

Both characters sucked...I can't hate them any more than I do already. 1.5 stars because its mostly well-written, but I really can't believe how much I hated this.

Once again Erin Nicholas has pulled at my heart strings within the first two chapters of the book. Hope going to Sapphire Falls to feel closer and understand her mom a little more was so heartwarming. She lost her mom suddenly and wanted to walk her in shoes a bit. When she explained this, it brought tears to my eyes.

TJ and Hope's connection was so entertaining. It was immediate and hot. Oh the way she pushed his buttons, one would need a fan. I smiled quite a bit during those parts. I loved how they both saw through the outer layers of each other to focus on the real person below and not only accepted them but encouraged it.

It was quite fun catching up with TJ's family and friends in this story. Their camaraderie and banter is humorous. Loved the brotherly ragging on each other. The girls all being together was hysterical. But my favorite part of seeing the other characters were TJ's parents. They were so classy, wise, loving and welcoming.

This was another great installment in the Sapphire fall series. I absolutely cannot wait for Ty's book. All the glimpses of his appearances in each book have me very intrigued.

We are back to Sapphire Falls in “Getting Lucky”, TJ is a “Leave Me Alone Guy” or at least he thinks he is until Hope decides to park in his driveway. Hope is trying to be like her Mom, “Take Me Where the Wind Blows” kind of girl. Hope take this summer to relive what her Mom found so wonderful in Sapphire Falls. She is on a mission to find her father and along the way meets more than she could ever expect. Between TJ and Hope the pages light up with fun, laughter and some smoking HOTTT chemistry. Once again Erin didn’t disappoint. Can’t wait for the next adventure to Sapphire Falls in “Getting Over It” in August.

Loved it!! Hope Daniels is the perfect addition to the residents of Sapphire Falls. Quirky, sweet, and free spirited Hope comes to town looking for a father she's never known. What she finds is a small town that fits her perfectly, a great group of friends, and the stoic, grumpy, and oh so sexy TJ Bennett. TJ has been burned by love in the past but his never get involved again attitude is put to the test by this newcomer. What starts as a little fun quickly turns in to more, but are the obstacles to hard to overcome?? You will definitely want to grab this one and find out! I highly recommend it.

Slick's review posted at Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews

I know I shouldn't be surprised anymore by Erin Nicholas yet she constantly manages to always bring fresh and interesting characters to her work and she really outdid herself in Getting Lucky. A man who has been burned by love finds himself wildly attracted to a sun worshipping, sometimes Vegan (because well bacon and Oreos are necessary to life), braless, yoga loving, hippie like woman who is so far off from his normal type he can't even fathom why he wants her other than she's sweet, she's independent and most of all she wants to help him when he is always the one to help others. Thing is she feels the same way but fears falling for the handsome farmer isn't the life her mother would want for her. It is impossible to list all the ways I loved this book, but just know that I did and it is my favorite in a very strong series.

I always wondered about TJ Bennett's seemingly gruff exterior but how he always seemed to be there for everyone. He was an enigma of sorts and so seeing him so flustered over a woman; a woman who even HE claims is so not his type made this a truly fun and exciting read.
There's no doubt the man has been hurt badly and that he's put walls up around himself to keep it from happening again but he's also distanced himself from his family who loves him and has been there for him through it all. My heart hurt for TJ because it was so obvious that family means everything to him but he was somewhat embarrassed by past events so keeping everyone at arm's length just seemed easier.

Losing the only parent she's ever known and searching for the man she thinks is her father, Hope Daniels is flustered by the man she encounters at the home that she was directed to when she inquired about her father in town. Sexy doesn't begin to describe the giant of the man who greets her and her body and soul stand up and take notice. She's inexplicably drawn to him and the more she's around him the more she realizes just how special he is.

So many great feelings from this book; I love that TJ and Hope both see every special little thing about each other. They don't judge one another, they listen to each other, they offer support and they form a very easy friendship that turns into so much more very quickly. It was amazing to watch TJ transform before my eyes and watch him accept that the way he's been living his life isn't really living. Watching Hope be drawn into the bosom of not only TJ's family but his close circle of friends, being accepted and liked despite her lifestyle was a thing of beauty but I also understand how scary it was for someone who was raised to be independent and who never really has had close friends who didn't judge her. And I really have to love her hate of undergarments and restrictive clothing and admire her love of outdoor naked yoga...what? It's a thing or it should be !

Because this is Sapphire Falls and because we know everyone in town must be involved in everyone else's life TJ and Hope get a lot of attention and sometimes it comes at the most inopportune moments but when they do manage to get time alone, holy smokes...or hand me a smoke, because after that we all need one!

While I have loved each book in this series there was just something extra special about Getting Lucky and I'd like to think that it is because these two people needed each other more than they realized making them both very lucky indeed.

Talk about GETTING LUCKY... THIS was a fantastic book! I have admittedly loved the Sapphire Falls series right from the beginning. Mason stole my heart in that very first book --what can I say, I'm into smart, sexy, slightly nerdy men-- and will always be one of my book boyfriends, BUT... Erin Nicholas really out did herself with TJ and Hope's story. I mean, WOW!! Right from the first paragraph she had my full attention. TJ and Hope had my full attention.

TJ is the oldest Bennett brother and just as tall, dark, sexy, muscular, and HUGE in all the right places as his brothers, but as a self-described grump he uses his surly attitude to keep everyone at arm's length. Especially women. Especially Sapphire Falls women. Not only did his ex break this gorgeous man's heart, she still drags him through her crazy every chance she gets. He is done with crazy. Then in wanders Hope at his farm in her bright yellow Fiat and tiny little camper, and this beautiful woman's free spirit takes his breath away. And down crumble his walls despite himself. Hope Daniels with her pink hair, bangles, and loose, barely-there, free-flowing clothes, and tattoo... who is clearly a hippie... clearly crazy... and just what TJ needs.

Like I said, from the first paragraph I was hooked. Getting Lucky flows so beautifully, includes a heavy dose of all the sexy Bennett's and their friends, the usual humor of siblings and lifelong friends, incredible dialogue, intense sexual attraction, a fresh storyline and delightful new characters I hope to see more of. My only complaint was I tore through it and reached the end too soon. I immediately wanted more. Really. Awesome. Book. 5 stars

Sapphire Falls....my favorite small town! I really enjoyed Getting Lucky and if I hadn't already fell in love with TJ, I have now! There is just something about those Bennett boys!
Hope Daniels is quirky, fun, and luckily for TJ, not shy at all! I loved watching them fall in love! I felt like Hope and I could be really good friends and that's just something that I don't find alot of in contemporary romance novels. Usually I'm swooning over the hero and don't really relate that much to the heroine but I really loved Hope!
As always, Erin Nicholas brings us a great installment to an awesome series! You don't want to miss this one!

It’s no surprise that I gush about Erin Nicholas. She has yet to write a book that I don’t completely love. She makes me want to pack up all my belongings and move to a small town. Specifically Sapphire Falls. I love that amazing place and I will promise you, if I could, I would move there. Getting Lucky is book 5 in the Sapphire Falls series. It follows the life of grumpy, gruff and totally sexy TJ Bennett. TJ hasn’t been so lucky in the love department. He’s got the divorce papers to show for it. He is done with love. It won’t cause him anything but drama and he just doesn’t have the time. He was always willing to help out a woman in need, just ask his ex-wife, but now he tries to avoid it all. How was he supposed to avoid it when it was sitting on his front lawn? Hope Daniels just wants to be happy. Go with the flow, be free, have fun. She wants to follow in her mother’s footsteps. After losing her mother, she decided to take a summer and just live life like her mother did. She could never forget the stories of her spending the best summer of her life in Sapphire Falls. She also couldn’t ignore the picture of her mom with two men….one of whom just had to be her father. So she packed up and left Sedona for a little town in Nebraska hoping she would meet the man that she shared her biology with. She wasn’t looking for a dad. She didn’t need that. She just wanted to meet him. To know who he was. But a mistake landed her on TJ’s farm.
TJ and Hope’s chemistry was undeniable even though TJ wanted to deny it. He has more will power than any man, I’m convinced! A big hot farmer and a little pixie hippie are a perfect match in Getting Lucky. Hope makes TJ see that he is wanted, just by being him. And TJ helps Hope understand that sticking around and having people love her and depend on her isn’t such a bad thing.
I didn’t know it was possible to keep loving all the men from Sapphire Falls like I do, but I fall in love over and over again with each visit. Several of my favorite men make an appearance in Getting Lucky and I swoon all over again. But TJ is just……incredible! WOW! There are many moments of his that stick out to me, but this has to be my favorite:
“I don’t dance,” he told her. Her smile fell, and TJ wasn’t sure the last time he’d an actual loss when some stopped smiling. “But to show you just how far gone I am here,” he said, moving closer. “I’m going to tonight.”
SWOON! How can you NOT swoon over a man like that!? Holy hotness! I love him.

You’ll get grumpy-hot man, free spirit –loving woman, friends, family, nosey-ness, SEXINESS, love, forever, essential oils, magic and (in my opinion) the hottest Erin Nicholas scene ever written in this one!

Happy reading!!

I could not wait for TJ's story! I have a thing for a big, strong, grumpy type. And then I read the book and fell in love with this heroine. She is amazing! Like so many others of Erin Nicholas's work, not only do I want to live in Sapphire Falls - I want to be Hope. TJ and Hope were perfect for each other. TJ needed a woman who didn't 'need' him but wanted to share her life with him. Hope, however, was on a quest to find a long lost father, not a boyfriend or husband. She could certainly take care of herself. But sometimes love comes when you are least expecting it, as TJ and Hope discover. The hero and heroine were two very different people and showed that ones background or past did not dictate who you fall in love with. And my interest has been piqued about essential oils. :)

I have been a fan of Erin Nicholas for many years. She never ceases to amaze me. Erin's stories are all different. There are no two stories lines the same. I also love her voice. I don't feel like I am reading a story, I feel like someone has sat down with me to catch me up on the town happenings. I cannot say this enough, you do not simply read an Erin Nicholas story, you feel like you become part of the story. You want to live where these people live. Work where they work. You want to become one of the 'gang' and hang out with them. And most importantly is the humor that Erin Nicholas incorporates into all her stories. Even with the most serious story line there is a degree of humor that readers have grown to expect.

The Sapphire Falls series is amazing. You wouldn't necessarily have to read the previous books to enjoy this one, but why not. They are all great!! I highly recommend Getting Lucky as well as the entire Sapphire Falls series.

Getting Lucky is the latest book in Erin Nicholas’ Sapphire Falls series. Sapphire Falls is a fictional town in Nebraska but I want to live there. It is everything you can imagine a small town should be and more.
The Bennett boys are known by everyone in the town and when Hope comes rolling into town in her bright yellow camper, she is looking for Thomas John Bennett. TJ Bennett is not expecting to find her “camping” on his farm and certainly is not expecting to become involved with her plans to meet her father and to spend her summer in their quaint little town. When she tells him who she is looking for and why, false assumptions abound. (don’t want to spoil the story.. so that is all I am going to say!)
Hope and TJ could not be any different in personality … Hope is an extrovert, full of smiles and rainbows and sparkle.. TJ is an introvert, a man of few words . TJ has spent his life making sure others are taken care of but in the process, has neglected his own heart. Hope is a “fix-it and make it better” kind of girl who realizes she wants to help him shed his gruff exterior and let himself be happy.
This book is fun, sexy, emotional… all that we have come to expect and to love from Erin Nicholas. I enjoyed the story line.. and it was fun to have other characters from previous books make “guest appearances!” If you have not visited Sapphire Falls yet, you need to plan a trip there. You will be greeted with open arms and maybe some German Chocolate cake.

How do I love Sapphire Falls like me count the ways..

1) Hot Country Boys
2) Tailgates and bonfires and Booze
3) Two stepping in honky-tonks
4) Sweet treats made even sweeter by the men in Town
5) Close-nit families

I love love love this series by Erin Nicholas.

One of the many things I loved about this book was I felt like I was learning about holistic health teachings while I enjoyed a romance. It has gotten me researching about essential oils and massages to help with some of the stesses in my life. This is not the first time I have learned from Erin's books It Takes Two gave readers and insight into the world of Fibromyalgia.

Getting Lucky gives us the story of TJ and Hope. TJ has been burned by a damsel in distress before and has sworn off love because love only brings pain. Hope is trying to find a way to re-connect with her recently passed mother by living and experiencing her free spirited summer of love that created her.
Hope brings essential oils, massages, naked yoga, and most importantly love that is freely given with nothing needed in return to TJ life.

TJ shows Hope that it is ok to need people and plant roots especially with a hot farmer like him!

One of my favorite lines in the books holds true to the entire series.

"Boys in Sapphire Falls learn to country swing and two-step early on because it's the best way to get a girl up against you when you're too young to have a truck."

I can't wait to read more about this wonderful Town!

This series MUST be read in order! Another amazing book by Erin Nicholas! I absolutely loved this book and couldn't put it down! If you love hot country boys, steamy sex scenes, and falling in love, this is the series for you!
After the sudden passing of her mother, Hope Daniles decides to spend some time living life as her free spirit mother would and visiting places that meant a lot to her mother. That means taking some time off from her nursing job, trading her regular clothes for flowy hippy chic, disguardibg her undergarments and visiting Sapphire Falls, Nebraska where she her mother spent a magical summer when she was 19 and became pregnant with Hope.

Grouchy TJ Bennett just wants to be left alone and even though everyone around him is falling in love and settling down, he has no intention of ever going down that road again.

When TJ gets home and finds a sexy blond hippie with her skirt hiked up lying on the hood tf her little yellow car parked in his driveway he knows he's in trouble. Can he resist the undeniable attraction to this cookey flower child or will she be the one to capture his heart forever?

This book is suitable for adult readers only.

It’s always a good time, visiting Sapphire Falls, especially when the Bennett family is involved. I love these interconnected standalone stories and catching up with some of my favorite characters, so I was glad to read an advance copy of TJ and Hope's story. I’m not sure the last time I saw two characters who were so opposite but needed each other as much as these two.

In true Bennett fashion, TJ doesn’t know what hit him when tornado Hope comes blowing into town looking for her father, but in less than a day he's in over his head, and his heart will never be the same. Lest you think this is an insta-love HEA, there's plenty of resistance, interference, and challenges in TJ and Hope's relationship, but the journey is an entertaining, humorous, endearing one that you won’t want to miss. You can easily read these books in any order, but one thing is certain. Once you visit Sapphire Falls, you’ll want to visit again and again through the other books in the series.

TJ has such a way with words, “I’m a grumpy *****le,” he said. “That’s all you need to know. You don’t want to be naked with me.” Hope is eaisly distracted, “I think this would be a good time to go back to the house.” Or get naked. She could really go either direction. “Hope.” His voice was soft but firm. She realized she was staring at his abs again. She lifted her gaze to his, reluctantly." TJ is just full of wisdom, "well, if it’s in your… it will end up in my mouth and I do like German chocolate cake frosting.” I loved this book, Hope came when it seemed like TJ needed her the most.

**Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.**

"Getting Lucky" is written by Erin Nicholas, and it is the 5th book in her Sapphire Falls series. It features TJ Bennett and Hope Daniels.

TJ's world is thrown for a loop right from the get-go when he finds Hope at his doorsteps. Why is this woman who has bright pink toe nails, streaks of pink in her hair, and a bright yellow car on his property? Why is he so mesmerized by her that he even notices the curves of her ear as she reclines on her car? It confuses him.

Hope's mother told her before that she fell in love and met her father in the small town of Sapphire Falls. Now that her mother has passed, and she has a picture of who her father is, she wants to find him.

There's chemistry between TJ and Hope right from the beginning. They tried to fight it, but how you can fight the inevitable? They were opposites. TJ is serious and likes routine whereas Hope is carefree and goes with the flow. Hope was a refreshing character. There was one scene that stood out for me, and I was just laughing the whole time. TJ found Hope doing yoga one morning, and it just left him speechless. Hope does what she wants. She loves people, and she loves to talk to them. TJ's friends and family quickly fall in love with her.

But Hope's not in town for long, and she made that clear. It's only temporary. But can temporary become permanent? What will happen when Hope's father and the people of Sapphire Falls finds out the real reason she's in town?

As always, I have nothing, but good things to say about Erin's latest book. "Getting Lucky" was refreshing, hot, funny, and heartwarming. Readers can easily fall in love with this town and its characters!

Getting Lucky is book 5 in the Sapphire Falls series by Erin Nicholas. Erin Nicholas has created some wonderful towns and characters as clearly evident in the Bradford and Counting on Love series. In one of my reviews for that series I remember indicating that she writes characters who although may not be related by blood form families based on friendship, community and love.
Book 4 of the Sapphire falls series is a great example of that but book 5 clearly brought that theme home to Sapphire Falls.

TJ is one of the Bennet Boys, we have seen him around in the previous books and this is his time in the spotlight and to have his HEA with Hope, a woman who is as different from him as can be but yet so very similar when it comes to love, family, friends and doing the right thing(this is where an ex cones in!!!)and Hope is a better person than I could ever be!

As with all of Erin Nicholas's stories, characters we love from other books are never forgotten and always pop in for a visit and in this case we get a lot of them and I loved it.

The character I could have seen less of was Michelle, she was not a favorite.

I love this series, the characters and of course the town; the author has written this town is such a descriptive way that it becomes 3 dimensional when reading the books and you transport yourself right there on main street, now I just need to find myself a house and I will open a little essential oils, herbs and crystal business. Maybe there is a older Bennet uncle I could find?

There is just something magical about Sapphire Falls! In Getting Lucky (book 5) we finally get to learn about the ever grumpy T.J. Bennett. A man who's been completely jaded by love but still has a huge heart and loves his family and friends unconditionally albeit in his own way. We are also introduced to Hope Daniels. A somewhat free spirit, searching for a missing puzzle piece to her life that may lie in Sapphire Falls.
Erin has proved again why her books are so special. The relationship that builds between T.J. and Hope is so special and real. Just because two people were raised under different circumstances, and may seem like they would have nothing in common doesn't mean that they can't have that special connection and understanding about each other.
Erin draws inspiration for her characters from so many places so each on is completely different but still have that wonderful something that makes you feel like you've known them forever. Hope doesn't follow traditional norms. She uses essential oils to help everything from relaxation to better sleep. (I personally LOVE that Erin included oils as i use them in my everyday life and swear by them so Hope is now one of my favorites)
I am a city girl through and through. Erin however makes me wish that I had grown up in a town like Sapphire Falls, where love is exciting, messy and most importantly real!

Why oh why can't Sapphire Falls exist in real life? This series by Erin Nicholas just gets better and better with each release. I thought Mason was my favorite guy, then Joe, but TJ might just over take them all. (Sorry to all you ladies that have laid claims on the guys) He is the guy who does anything for anybody, but never asks for anything himself. Hope is the "rainbow and tornado" who shows up on his property and in a matter of 24 hours completely changes his life as he knew it. I really enjoyed getting to know these two characters and how well they fit each other even though they couldn't have been more different in upbringing. I liked catching up with some of the past characters and what is going on with them now. This books was sweet, very sexy, fun loving, and emotional. Everything I love in a contemporary romance. I cannot wait for Ty's story next and the ones to follow. If you haven't started planning your trip to Sapphire Falls, Nebraska you better contact your travel agent!

I feel like I start every Sapphire Falls review this way, but I want to live in Sapphire Falls and be friends with these people. TJ and Hope were such a great couple to get to know and watch fall in love. They have an instant connection when she rolls into town retracing her mother's footsteps from twenty six years earlier. I wanted to be Hope when I was in my twenties. She was raised as a free spirit and her mother was very into essential oils. That's one thing that truly fascinated me with Hope.....the way she used oils and reflexology to take care of so many different things. I loved being able to see Travis and Tucker give it back to TJ the way he gave it to them when they were falling in love. I LOVED this whole story and the chemistry between the two of them. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Hope is an amazing young woman. She's a free spirit and loves helping others. She is a healer of all sorts. Hope is filling her summer with things her mom loved. One of those things was Sapphire Falls. Hope goes there in search of her dad. Hope is on a mission and needs help. She stumbles on TJ, a well mannered cowboy that makes her hot in every way possible. TJ can't figure out what it is with Hope but he can't get enough of her. He guards his heart because of the circus he's already been through once. The Bennett family is surprised how attached they are already of Hope. They have great adventures while she is there until one night when everything gets poured out. Hope comes to the rescue one night for the family. Is this enough for her to stay in Sapphire Falls or will she need to keep running and living each day to the fullest? This is the best book yet! I can't wait for the rest!

TJ's and Hope's story is such a fun addition to Erin Nicholas Sapphire Falls Series. She shows up on his property, looking for the other Thomas Bennett.....her free spiritedness is very intriguing to TJ, even though he doesn't want to be intrigued. But Hope turns out to be just what the grumpy man needs...he is drawn to her like a moth to a flame......and she knows how to make her 'magic' work on him, from her essential oils being massaged into his recovering shoulder, not to mention her hot naked yoga, to helping many people throughout this charming little town, with her holistic approach. Hope is a breath of fresh air for TJ, and their journey to their happily ever after is very fun...and hot. Did not want it to end! Now anxiously awaiting the next in the series Getting Over It. Can't seem to get enough of this town or these Bennett boys!

Love and Hope in Sapphire Falls

I've fallen in love with TJ Bennett! The gruff and tough farmer who is everyone's protector.
Hope Daniels comes to town to experience her mother's favorite summer vacation and to meet the father she has never known.
She mistakenly is sent to TJ's house, where he puts his self out to protect everyone, including the crazy woman who showed up on his property. Hope expects nothing from anyone, yet she is the sweetest, most giving person.
When TJ and Hope get together, there's magic there.
This is such a warm and sweet story and you can't help but fall in love with them and Sapphire Falls, if you haven't already.
To me, they are the perfect couple and this is my new favorite Erin Nicholas book!

For each book that has come out in the Sapphire Falls series, the latest becomes my favorite. Once again...this is true. I fell in love with TJ and Hope. Their story draws you in right away. TJ is the ultimate grump...until the ever colorful Hope blows into his life. I loved the mix of all the characters in the story line...especially the inclusion of Kathy Bennett. Ms. Nicholas has got the perfect talent. Every book she writes is pure magic. If you haven't read the rest of the series, I highly suggest you do so. You will not be disappointed! Beautiful stories...beautiful interactions...

Hope Daniels is on a mission to live in her mother's footsteps for one summer. Along the way to inadvertently winds up on TJ Bennett's doorstep.

TJ is a self proclaimed grumpy pants but he really just hasn't met the right woman.

I loved the chemistry between these two. This book was pure magic. After all it isn't everyday the love of your life appears on your doorstep. As always Ms. Nicholas and Sapphire Falls delivers the goods with characters you'll fall in love with and a setting right out of mainstream America. Who wouldn't fall in love in Sapphire Falls?

Anyone who has read the Sapphire Falls Series wants to live there but this was the first book in the series where I decided EXACTLY where I will live in Sapphire Falls... and that is in the house of TJ Bennett. Burned by crazy, TJ has a horrid knight and shining armor complex that ends up leaving him scorn. Independent and free spirit Hope whirls and and challenges him and his save the world complex. So amazing... PLEASE do yourself a favor and get lost in Sapphire Falls and TJ's world. SO GOOD!

This was a light fun read but it was just a tad insta-love with TJ and insta-adoption with the residents of the town. Hope is somewhat of a hippy Mary Sue and oils and massage can fix all.

The serious issues of meeting her birth father and sister and their associated baggage seem very secondary to everything else that happens.

Also the ending and TJs change of attitude seemed very out of the blue.

I did enjoy this visit to Sapphire Falls and will read the next book. But I am wondering if we've hit the limit on matches.
