Angel never imagined she’d stumble into becoming an author. An avid fan of books her whole life combined with an active imagination were the right ingredients to embark on a single goal of completing one book. She knew she had stories in her head, but getting those out into words on paper was daunting to say the least.
Her earliest memories of trying to write a novel was a story inspired by the 1990’s movie starring Jean-Claude Van Damme called Lion Heart. She still has the 14-page first chapter, printed on blue paper, in her file cabinet as a reminder of where the seed of writing first began.
Angel loves action, thrillers and suspense as well as classic love stories penned by the likes of Jane Austen and Danielle Steele. Her writing blends the two in what she’s dubbed “Crime Thrillers for Women” — showcasing stories where female protagonists find their lives intersecting with criminals as they juggle trying to find love and save their own lives at the same time.
Angel resides in Tomball and is a brain-washed, card carrying Texan!
The Unexpected Hero (Hero in Paradise Book 4), my fourth read from author Angel Vane. A thrill-a-minute, captivating tale that takes unexpected twists & turns, always keeping the reader engaged. The first book, The Accidental Hero (Hero in Paradise Series), was good, The second, The Relentless Hero (Hero in Paradise Book 2) even better, The Fallen Hero (Hero in Paradise Book 3), better yet, This, the culmination of the series, the best yet. “I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I'll definitely be reading more from this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
The Unexpected Hero is the fourth book in the Hero in Paradise series. Ms. Vane is an excellent storyteller and she does a great job bringing the story to life and really pulling you into the the characters' world. The story was exciting and thrilling and filled with so many unexpected twists and turns, I was literally on the edge of my seat anxious to see what happens next. Filled with intrigue, mystery, danger, and romance, this book kept me thoroughly engaged all the way through and I enjoyed it very much. This has been such a captivating series and this latest addition did not disappoint! I was given a free copy via StoryOrigin and and am voluntarily providing my review.
Love this series. Priscilla Dumay continues her rain of terror. She is in hiding on Palm Chat island recovering to make her escape. Dumay had kill switches implanted in the hearts of certain people so she can kill them when she wants to activate the signal. Michael will not sign the divorce papers to set Mena free. A lot of action and drama to find Dumay. This is the fourth novel in the series and is another page turner.
This story has so many twists and turns and action that sometimes I had to take a break. One of the characters is just pure evil and she entangles herself in the lives of so many. Our main couple, and our hero, suffer with ups and downs but get the ones responsible for the chaos and during their quest they loose and they win. It´s an interesting and entertaining story, although I found it too long. I downloaded a free copy of this book through StoryOrigin and this is my honest review.
Julian and Mena are finally free of the demons that have followed throughout this series. It was a long road but they’ve found happiness. I can’t say too much because I don’t want to spoil anything but this was a good read. I’m happy that it didn’t take the whole book for them to reconcile either. Good read!
