Such a beautiful collection of prayers.

I was given this book as a gift by my daughter, and while I thanked her and truly appreciated her thoughtfulness, I quickly put it to the side with the other “mothery” things I’ve been given but never actually use.
Then I decided to really focus on improving my prayer life through reading and writing more about prayer. I spent time researching the best books to help me do so but, while I waited for one of them to arrived, I grabbed this off the shelf to just see what it could offer.
I do not overstate in saying that this book has been life changing and will be a constant companion in prayer for me now. I read through the whole thing, gaining so much from the perspectives, writings and prayers of other mothers. I have returned daily to particular prayers that spoke to my current season of life and know that there are others I will turn to in the future as it changes.

A solid assortment of non traditional prayers for use in all stages of life. This collection includes a few litanies as well as titles such as " A Prayer of Hope for my Sons, The Little way for imperfect Moms, A Birthday Prayer, A psalm of surrender and dozens more. Many of them are written by regular moms in regular verse. A solid addition to a home library.
