Decent.

The first book in this series was decent and drew me in to read the rest, but the final two books lacked a bit for me. There was a lot of death, of characters that you would not expect to die. I also felt like the personal relationships were stilted as the series went on. There was plenty of action, but I wanted more connection with what was happening. Overall, it was a decent, fairly original read.
