Walter Elias “Walt” Disney (December 5, 1901 – December 15, 1966) was an American film producer, director, screenwriter, voice actor, animator, entrepreneur, entertainer, international icon, and philanthropist. Disney is famous for his influence in the field of entertainment during the 20th century. As the co-founder (with his brother Roy O. Disney) of Walt Disney Productions, Disney became one of the best-known motion picture producers in the world. The corporation he co-founded, now known as The Walt Disney Company, today has annual revenues of approximately U.S. $35 billion.
Disney is particularly noted for being a film producer and a popular showman, as well as an innovator in animation and theme park design. He and his staff created some of the world's most famous fictional characters including Mickey Mouse, a character for which Disney himself was the original voice. He has been awarded four honorary Academy Awards and has won twenty-two competitive Academy Awards out of fifty-nine nominations, including a record four in one year, giving him more awards and nominations than any other individual. He also won seven Emmy Awards. He is the namesake for Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort theme parks in the United States, as well as the international resorts Tokyo Disney, Disneyland Paris, and Disneyland Hong Kong.
Disney died of lung cancer in Burbank, California, on December 15, 1966. The following year, construction began on Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. His brother Roy Disney inaugurated the Magic Kingdom on October 1, 1971.

On December 31, 2009, Disney Company acquired the Marvel Entertainment, Inc. for $4.24 billion. The company has been a component of the Dow Jones Industrial Average since May 6, 1991. An early and well-known cartoon creation of the company, Mickey Mouse, is the official mascot of The Walt Disney Company.

"Quando era piccola, suo padre gli aveva insegnato a credere nel potere dei sogni, ma anche impegnarsi e fare tutto il possibile per realizzarli."
🩷 In questa giornata dedicata ai diritti dei bambini e degli adolescenti, ho scelto un libro che mette al centro ciò che ogni bambino dovrebbe trovare nella propria vita:modelli di gentilezza, storie che ispirano, e il coraggio di essere sé stessi. "Storie di coraggio e gentilezza" non è solo un libro che ci riporta alla nostra infanzia, ma è un insieme di storie che aiutano i più piccini a comprendere cos'è la gentilezza e a porsi domande come: "In che modo posso aiutare gli altri?", "Come posso essere gentile con tutti?".
🩷 Il libro raccoglie diverse storie ambientate nell'universo Disney e che vedono protagoniste le principesse più amate. Ogni racconto mette in luce due valori fondamentali: il coraggio di affrontare le difficoltà e la gentilezza come forza capace di cambiare il mondo e i rapporto con gli altri.
"Le storie dei libri che divora la portano in posti meravigliosi, le fanno conoscere gente nuova e le permettono di scoprire nuove prospettive."
🩷 La gentilezza viene esaltata in questo romanzo mostrandola ai piccoli non come debolezza, ma come fonte di coraggio e forza. Allo stesso tempo mette in evidenzia il coraggio di inseguire sempre i proprio sogni e di affrontare le paure, ma soprattutto mette in evidenzia l'inclusività e di non giudicare gli altri, ma anzi di creare una comunità dove tutti sono ben accetti. L'amicizia, la solidarietà e l'importanza di credere in sé stessi, ma anche negli altri, sono gli elementi cardini di questa storia e sono anche quei elementi che i piccoli devono fare propri.

🩷 I racconti sono brevi e molto carini, perfetti anche per letture serali con i bambini. Le illustrazioni sono molto curate, colorate e le ho amate, sono molto in linea con lo stile della Disney. Le atmosfere fiabesche trasmettono messaggi concreti e universali.
🩷 È un libro che scalda il cuore e che mi ha fatto tornare un po' bambina. È ideale per chi vuole leggere delle fiabe moderne che trasmettono valori positivi e intramontabili. Perfetto come regalo per i più piccini e ottimo per momenti di lettura condivisa.

Un ebook molto carino con delle storie inedite su ognuna delle 12 principesse e 2 regine Disney, spero tanto facciano anche il cartaceo perché ha davvero delle bellissime illustrazioni. Ogni storia ci insegna qualcosa e ha come suo "rappresentante" un bambino o una bambina speciale a cui è ispirata.
Tra queste storie quelle che ho preferito sono state quella di Belle che ci insegna ad allargare i nostri orrizonti , quella di Vaiana per tutelare il nostro ambiente,poi quella di Elsa ed Anna che ci insegna a condividere le nostre passioni e anche imparare a essere un buon leader. Una lettura adatta soprattutto ai più piccoli ma non solo.
Tra queste storie quelle che ho preferito sono state quella di Belle che ci insegna ad allargare i nostri orrizonti , quella di Vaiana per tutelare il nostro ambiente,poi quella di Elsa ed Anna che ci insegna a condividere le nostre passioni e anche imparare a essere un buon leader. Una lettura adatta soprattutto ai più piccoli ma non solo.
