I found this book in a gift shop in Newport! it's served as a nice introduction to the idea of Feng Shui, and I can certainly say I learned some things. The general idea of balancing Yin and Yang energy in particular--and the identification of what falls into those categories--I found really helpful.
I did have some trouble following along...not sure if maybe a different order would have helped? There's a ton of information in here about Feng Shui, which on one hand makes it good as a general reference guide, but made it feel a bit difficult as a read since it's hard to meaningfully absorb a lot of the details.
that said, not at all a bad introduction to feng shui, and I appreciate what I did take from it even if I felt it could have been organized a bit differently!
As the name suggests, a very good introduction to a holistic approach of Feng shui. A very logical non mythified version that almost anyone can follow. Basically how to live in harmony with your surroundings.
I loved this book! Feng Shui is a topic that I have wanted to learn about for a long time, but it felt so complicated. This book provided so good information in a way that is easy to understand and implement. I have incorporated a number of changes into my house and look forward to making several more. I have already purchased another copy for a friend’s housewarming present. Thank you!
Great introduction. I love this little series. Perfect for my endlessly curious (and distractible) Gemini mind to read in a day and decide if I want to dive deeper later. I don't think I want to dive deeper into Feng Shui, I think I intuitively got a lot of it down, but I'm glad I have a little bit of language for it.
Loved it! It’s short and easy to read. Perfect if you are a new to Feng Shui and want to learn a little bit more of what it is, what it looks like, and how to implement it in life.
