Martin Stepek write prose lines, hence the title of this book. He used to call what he wrote in this manner "poetry" but it never seemed to be quite the right description. Poetry felt like something different from what he wrote and what he wanted to express. Yet, because his works look like poetry at a glance it clearly wasn't standard prose. So it wasn't normal prose and it wasn't poetry. What to call it then? Prose Lines.Prose Lines expresses, often in very short, pithy, reflective terms, the moment by moment thoughts and experiences of the author, ranging from philosophical insights to nonsensical perspectives of a world that seems a joy to live in but a difficult place to sustain happiness and peace of mind.
