I Came Back And Conquered It All

Rate this book
“It’s finally here,” said the man with the sword in an echoing whisper.

“The Tower of Choice, the last 100 floors!” the band of five exclaimed in unison.

Angelica came down from the altar with a dull look, seemingly annoyed.
Then we looked around.

“I tell you once again, but you’ve had a lot of trouble in the meantime. I couldn’t have climbed to the 100th floor alone without you.”

[Hand of Control (Rank: SSS, Active)] “All of you die.”
Thud!

One by one, they fall to the floor.

Angelica’s dagger pierced my neck, and I felt a darkening in front of my eyes with a tumultuous rage. My awareness faded, from my senses, from everything else. After that, everything was eroded by profound darkness.

First 100 chapters- generic for this type of ln, at least readeable i could Say, 100-150 a Little bit of hype but sadly the last 50 chapters are just boring, i couldnt read paste ch 160
I dont recommend it If this is one of the firsts ln of this type that You want to read, but If You already are experienced with ln of this type and literally dont have anything else to read You could go for it
Its not a waste of time but not a good use of it at the same time, thats the best way i could describe this ln

Stronger ending than a lot of similar stories. Reminds me of Dimensional Sovereign in that way.

A lot of plot threads are tied up through the course of this story. Even some things you might think were simple or obvious are revealed to have had a deeper explanation. It's a pretty satisfying read.

Not everything is covered though (such as a certain sword's backstory), and I found myself wanting more time with these characters. But that's the sign of a well-told story, I think.

4/5 really liked.
A terrific short and good regression + system k-novel. I finished 200/200 chapters.

Writing: 2/5 okay
This is very above average for this kind of book. The last two books of this kind that I read were written atrociously, or at least the translations that I got my hands on were bad.

Characters: 3/5 liked
These were above average. The mc isn't dumb. The side characters are varied, if still one-dimensional.

World: 2/5 okay
The world is fine. You aren't reading this for the world. Also, because the book is so short, the establishment of major players in the world sometimes feels rushed. However, I think it is worth it to keep the pacing quick.

Story: 4/5 really liked
This is not stellar literature. However, it is the best Korean regression novel I have ever read, which is why I give it a 4. The standout characteristic here is the short length, with the whole book able to be finished in 2 days if you happen to be sick and in bed all day. The story itself is also consistently interesting. I give the story 4/5 from chapter 1-125, 1.5 stars from 125-160 because it is rather dry and bland, and 3.5 stars from 160-200. The ending here is actually good as well, which is incredible. There was easily enough content here for the author to add tons of filler and stretch the book to 1000 boring chapters, and I'm glad that everything was short.

If you want a Korean regression novel with a system, this is the best one I have found so far.

Second chance stories, for me, are generally really entertaining or really bad. This one has some interesting concepts, but something about the way it’s written makes it difficult (boring? uninteresting? tedious? Covert subpar translation?) to read.

I’m dropping it now because the of the big twist that the protagonist is essentially a slave/robot programmed to repeatedly reincarnate to save a future empire. His mind is wiped with each incarnation and he doesn’t have the slightest capability to live for himself. The translation is also still in progress so I wouldn’t be getting a resolution even if I wanted one.

Reincarnation, Gaming System, Unique Powers, Intrigue, and Action, the web novel has it all but the poor translation/writing and the rushed yet boring ending makes it a drag to finish.

I am a fan of second chances at life, also of the gaming system, so was really excited for this book. At 200 chapters this is one of the shortest web novels I have come across, the initial 1/3rd of the story was standard to the genre but with better plotting and mystery. The next 2/3rd was boring but still decent, but the last 50 chapter was torture to read, just not interesting enough.
