I know she might never forgive me. But, Samantha Donovan belongs to me, and I will do everything in my power to keep her by my side. No matter what the cost.
I'm a bestselling author of dark mafia, billionaire, and paranormal romance. I love to read and write about hot, filthy talking alphas that would burn the world down for the women they love.

Sam & Gabriel had everything they both ever wanted until one poor choice changed the course of their lives. This book had me hooked from the beginning and I couldn't put it down. I fell in love with this couple in Dark Angel and was so excited to see how their story would play out. The insane chemistry between these two, even in the midst of turmoil, is off the charts. I feel like Sam grows a lot as a person in this book. Her past still haunts her and watching her finally start to trust Gabriel is sweet. Gabriel is an alpha in every sense of the word and will stop at nothing to make sure Sam is safe and HIS. The steam in this book is SO GOOD. I'm glad they got their HEA and I'm looking forward to seeing more of them in the spin off series. I received a free copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.
The 2nd book of the London Ruthless. Gabe was amazing as usual...everything i love in a Alpha Male, hot, possessive, passionate and growley. More Drama and Action in this book, stalking and psychopaths thrown in the mix too. I'd recommend this series as its mafia romance. Also its based it London which is a nice change. Spice not to be missed, Gabe knows how to do it lol
This is the final book in the London Ruthless duet by Sadie Kincaid and I have given this 3.5 stars. As I mentioned in my review of the first book it's not that this book wasn't great it's that Sadie's other books were just that good there was no way to give them equal footing.
This is a continuation of the same characters, Gabrielle and Samantha but a new drama. The threat from the first book was thought to be wrapped up, but there are some issues that roll across and a new threat comes their way also.
I actually enjoyed this one more than the first. The danger is amped up in my opinion as are the emotions at play. I still had issues with some of the back and forth. I get they drive each other crazy but it just felt like they should be getting over some of that.
It was a good conclusion to the duet and I do admit I'm a little in love with Gabe.
Look forward to more from Sadie. . . . It feels like Gabe and Sam are finally getting their act together. They move in together and they are planning to raise their baby together. Life is finally working out how it should.
Enter Gabe's ex this time with a baby bump all her own. What hurts Sam the most is not that he slept with someone when she pushed him away it's that he slept with her. The women who really hurt him. The fact another woman is carrying his child hurts but him keeping it from her might be worse. Sam can't stay in the house and she leaves for her father's.
Gabe can't believe what is happening right now and he's reluctant to believe Jennifer she has proven time and time again what she is made of. On the chance the child is his he can't turn her away though. He'll find out the truth one way or another and he won't be giving up on Sam in the meantime.
‘I know you think that being apart is the best thing for us, but I know that it’s not. And I’m going to do everything in my power to prove that to you too. So, although I’m going to let you walk out of that door, don’t mistake that for my compliance. This thing between you and me is far from over. I love you, Sam. You are everything to me, and I refuse to spend the rest of my life without you by my side. But I know that I’ve let you down, and so I’m letting you go - for now. But know that you are mine and you always will be. And I’ll be right here waiting for you as soon as you realise that too.’
Gabe works to try and mend what he has fractured with Sam and respect her wishes at the same time. Every time he seems to make a dent in her armor she tries to reinforce it a little more. When he finally thinks he has the key to her letting him back in she's discovered something herself and tries to push him further away.
Despite the drama happening in their personal life, a greater threat is looming and while they don't come directly at Sam they make their plans known. Gabe is taken in an effort to get to Sam and he's left with orders to get her to cooperate or she will regret it. When Sam finds out he's missing and likely taken her world seems to crash around her again. Despite the hurt, she feels she knows she can't live without him.
Those wanting to hurt Sam will regret ever speaking her name. Gabe doesn't live on the light side of the world despite trying to take their business legit he will use everything in his arsenal to make her and his child safe. Before he gets to make his final move, they get to her anyway. Now he has to hope that his plan is ready to go because if he doesn't get to her fast he'll lose it all.
London Ruthless book two Gabriel Sullivan and Samantha Donovan. Fourteen weeks pregnant and Sam has moved in with Gabe, but it's not all hunky dorrie, as we are about to find out, no sooner has she moved in she is packing her bags and leaving heartbroken, Gabe has let her down big time, and three's a crowd. At work Sam is getting creepy calls a Mr Edward Lewis is been put through then hangs up on her is this anything to do with her past? These two cannot keep away from each other for long the love and chemistry they share is so so strong as this book is written at explosive heights, she is Gabes forever as they join as one.. I did shed a lot of tears reading throughout this story, the author has captured her readers hearts that will burst and leave you in sweet dreams. Gabriel is Samantha's angel, he's a work of art, and perfect for her as she say's the answer to his important question. A perfect ending to the story and yes I cried right to the final moment the last chapter The End.
Like the first one I didn't like this one too much, but I'm willing to give anything Sadie Kincaid writes a fair chance.
This one was a bit better than the first one. I could see more character growth with Sam & Gabe as they really tried to make things work. I felt Sam's hurt and agony. I could feel Gabe guilt and that he tried his best.
Wow.. I literally couldn't put this book down and managed to read it in a day!! I absolutely love Gabe & Sam and while reading this book I was kept in suspense the whole time hoping and praying for a HEA for these 2 and you didn't disappoint Sadie! Thank you
I really think that Sadie should have finished everything about Gabriel and Sam in book one. I was expecting book two to be about Sebastian Donovan and maybe finding love. But I guess Sadie thought too many exaggerations were needed. I really think this piece was over hyped imo.
From the very first page, this book ensnared me in its grip and refused to let go. The characters from Dark Angel, who I had grown to love, continued their journey and I was eagerly drawn along with them. Sparks flew between the couple, their chemistry uncontainable and only growing hotter with each passing moment. As Sam faced her demons and fought to overcome her past, I couldn't help but admire her strength and resilience. And Gabriel's alpha instincts were on full display as he fiercely protected Sam and staked his claim on her heart. But perhaps the most memorable parts of this book were the steamy scenes that left me breathless and longing for more. In the end, I couldn't be happier for this couple as they finally found their happily ever after

Similar to book 1, this book fell a bit flat for me. However, that didn't stop me from reading it in one sitting.
For the most part of the book, Gabriel is trying to make right the mistake he made in book 1. There is a lot of arguing again and miscommunication. The ending is enjoyable but a bit predictable.
I'm so glad I read this duet, though. It was a good introduction to the Ruthless series, and it just makes me excited to read the others
So Gabe & Sam’s story continues & boy does it continue….
I did struggle with this book, it should of just been one book, there was a lot of filler & I felt we kept going round & round in the same circle, it became annoying & frustrating.
I did love Gabe & Sam, they had great chemistry & the sex was hot! I’m glad things worked out for them & they got their HEA.
The storyline was good but as I said, lots of filler so it took some time getting there. Still worth a read though.
Book 2 was a little better. But why Samantha was so aggravating. Her attitude to every situation was so much maddening I wanted to just shake her 🤧 I get why Gabriel got so mad with her. There was a lot of character development that was good. And I’m happy. I’m finished withthe series.
Even better than the first book! Sadie has a way of making you really invest in the characters!! I absolutely love Sam and Gabe 😍😍😍 and they are such a hot couple!! The spice level was off the charts!! I’m so glad I found this new author. This was the perfect quick, steamy read and I can’t wait to see what’s next from her!
Well, this book certainly starts off with a shocker! It was very interesting meeting the new characters in this part of the story and witnessing the trouble that was made. I loved how Gabriel and Samantha faced the challenges of their relationship, with the 'hot' factor turning up a notch or two. I also love the hint at the end that there may be more to follow based around a certain loveable character. This is certainly a fabulous series!
3.5 ⭐ because of the epilogue. I am thoroughly looking forward to Sebastian and Lauren's book.
Page one and I see I will be rolling my eyes at Sam through out this entire book. All she does is glare at him, and never holds herself accountable.
***Spoiler Filled Rant Ahead***
Being mad at Gab with Jennifer in this case is crazy. You told the man you didn't want him. Broke his heart, and like he said got back with him only because of the baby. Now she's ready to run, once again, because her heart is broken. Sam do you really love Gab?
Just realized Sebastian got engaged in the last book and is still fooling around with other women...so I'm not really sure how I feel about him.
Sam breaking up with Gab for what the 3rd time, was just annoying. I really want to know why I am torturing myself reading this book. Sam needs to get a clue. The situation between these two is at this state because Sam keeps pushes him away. And thinking he is supposed to be a mind reader.
"You don't get to decide we are done", thank you Gabriel for being the voice of reason these past two books. Even though I'm not sure why you continue to bother with her 🥴.
Sam is such a danger to herself and others. Her being so finite about the "end" of their relationship was just a joke. And plain annoying. Just get over yourself already and be a couple. This level of stress you are putting on yourself is not healthy.
"Samantha and my unborn baby are on a date with another man" -Gab 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Gabriel taking Jennifer to the clinic, talking about 'surprise' was the funniest thing in this book. I actually laughed out loud 🥴😅😭. Which is something I needed given the chapter before Sam is back to her all or nothing thinking. Communication skills was definitely something she didn't cover in therapy.
Gabriel calling Samantha out for questioning whether he missed her or not was the best thing about this book. Good for you Gab, finally calling out the madness that is Samantha. Gab thinks he's exhausted, but no one is more exhausted than me 🤣.
57% in the book, and Samantha is still questioning Gabriel's loyalty to her is insane. It's obvious that Jennifer is jealous and that's why she spray painted your office. Come on Sam please give us all a break 😭. And for once stop thinking Gabriel is the problem.
One of the best parts of the book for me was when they were talking about their past sexual experiences. Finally addressing how much of an impact Jackson had on Samantha. And Gabriel reassuring her that he's there for her and wishes he could have saved Sam from Jackson. Very sweet and sensual moment. Of course Sam almost ruined it by going on her usual miscommunication tangent...over anal sex of all things. In the future I hope she can learn to ask questions, get answers and not get offended by the answers 🥴.
When I finished this book I was just exhausted. Samantha gave me a headache. I tried my best to be understanding of why she acted this way, but gosh. Gabriel is a better person than me, he went through a lot for this relationship. But never gave up on Sam, and I appreciate that...for him.
Plot twist at the end was unexpected for me. But then again I checked out mentally so maybe I didn't expect it since I wasn't paying attention 😅.
The epilogue was great, I loved that I was in Sebastian's POV. Can't wait to read is book in the future. Plus Lauren sounds so interesting. The epilogue was the most interesting thing about this book, loved it. And I look forward to Lauren possibly bringing Sebastian to his knees 🫣😏.
WOAH!!!!! Sadie does not disappoint with this second book in The London Ruthless Series. My heart was pumping right from the very start, as I immersed myself into this suspenseful storyline. Brilliant writing again by Sadie, leaving me speechless with some of the plot twists that I didn't see coming with a build up that had me sitting on the edge of my seat, dying to know more! I loved Gabriel and Sam and can not wait to read Sebastian's story.
This is part 2 of the London Ruthless series. If you haven’t already read book one ‘Dark Angel’ don’t go any further as you need to read that first.
So, I’m my review of book 1, I wrote about being more than a little frustrated with it. I’d struggled with Samantha’s constant insecurities and doing everything she could to push the adorably gorgeous Gabriel away when all she really wanted was to be with him. I honestly got so annoyed with the too-ing and fro-ing that I almost started to dislike Sam. The way she treated the delectable Dark Angel Gabriel was just incredibly frustrating.
However, this book has had me completely gripped and I’ve read it in just a matter of hours because I couldn’t put it down. A stark contrast to book one. Gabe just gets more and more delicious… but as we know from book one, he’s messed up big time and potentially lost the love of his life and a chance at being a family with her and his unborn child. Samantha is understandably distraught and I can’t say I blame her. Of all the people to scratch that itch with, he should never have let his ex-wife Jennifer back into his life and definitely not back into his pants. Of course he regretted it straight away, but when she turns up later to cause more problems between our adorable couple… I wanted to scratch her eyes out.
All is not at all how it appears though and luckily Gabe’s ability to read people helps to discover the truth not only seeing through Jennifer’s evil lies… but also doing everything he can to keep Samantha and his baby safe.
This book really does show how much Gabe loves Samantha and the extremes he will go to to protect what is his. Even though she still fights his overprotective tendencies she has also learned to trust his instincts and relinquish some of that control she’s so obsessed with having all the time. As they eventually found their way back to each other, Sam finally realises that the only reason Gabe behaves the way he does is because she is his entire world… and the thought of being without him or having him in her life becomes too much to contemplate.
I loved that after everything these two have been through, they get their much deserved happy ending… and the partnership they build is so beautiful and heartwarming that I couldn’t stop smiling by the time I’d got to that extended epilogue.
Yet another fantastic series from an amazing writer. Well done Sadie. Please tell me there’s going to be more from the Ruthless Series… I’m loving them!
“I stepped aside and his eyes locked on her pregnant stomach. The look of horror on his face made my heart lurch into my throat. But, I knew that what I was thinking was impossible. He would never do that to me.”
Fallen Angel had me turning page after page, I couldn’t put this one down until I had read those magic words “The end.” A well written story with a thought out suspenseful plot. Be ready for the unexpected, as you never know who or what is lurking around the corner waiting to steal your light. I was empathising with the characters as if I was in their position. I was disappointed and saw this coming when reading Dark Angel, but it didn’t help soothe the sting. Absolutely riveting and fitting conclusion to Gabriel and Sam’s story. Gabriel may of taken a fall, but will he redeem himself and rise to be Sam’s saviour? I’ve been left wanting to know Sebastian and Lauren’s story, my imagination is in overdrive. I recommend that you add this author to your TBR if you like reading a steamy romantic suspense.
Again, the book has not seen an editor and it needs one not just for errors but also for content. Again, on every other page there are errors with missing words like he, double words like that that in sentences, words out of order in sentences, and it happens consistantly throughout both books. In addition, it was repetitive, which made it feel long. Everytime Gabriel, spoke, whispered, grunted, threatened, he did it with a growl. The word growl appears more than any other in the book. The sex scenes were repetitive, from the acts, the descriptions of them were all the same and 90% of the story was them banging. Dont get me wrong, i love dark romances with lots of sex, but it was boring overkill in this book. The last couple of chapters were unnecessary and boringly long, and the epilogue was not needed, which i just ended up skimming and skipping through because i was long overdue to see the end of this book & series. Sam was not written as a 32 plus year old as she was supposedly that age. She was a miserable, ungrateful, stubborn and almost always wrong, aggrevating character that never grew throughout the series. Gabrielle was a great character, and i dont understand how anyone like him would put up with her constant disbelief and trust in him and her whiny biotchy attitude without dumping them and never looking back. The book would have been much better if you easily cut out a 100 or more pages of total, repetitive bologney. I was Disappointed
My My What A Trouble Magnet Sam is 🤭. This Book almost Broke my Heart, But thankfully it put it back together again. Thoroughly enjoyed this Series. So so Glad you told me about them. And am I sensing a Further Book-A Spinoff Maybe
Let me start by saying I did actually enjoy these books and the 3 star rating is because as much as I genuinely enjoyed the characters and the general plot, I found it very repetitive. The constant miscommunication/ back and forth just started to drag somewhat for me and I felt it distracted from more engaging storylines in the plot! But as I have said I otherwise enjoyed this book.
Sadie Kincaid has and will always be one of my favourite authors. She has a way with words and knows how to keep you on edge with them. Her writing is highly captivating, with lots of intensity and vulnerability.
These are the two books in The London Ruthless series. Gabe and Sam's dad are business partners. Sam has always had the hots since she was a teenager for Gabe but couldn’t pursue it. She makes her intentions known to him a night before leaving for university while drunk, and Gabe, being a gentleman, lets her down easily. Fast forward to 14 years later, both have been married and divorced. Sam left her abusive husband with emotional scars and baggages and is back to start a legal firm in her hometown, and Gabe still works with her dad. Her past rears its ugly head, and Gabe is tasked with being her driver and bodyguard.
Gabriel, on the other hand, had always been protective of Samantha. He had always been her "Guardian Angel," However, being her dad's best friend and business partner, he's had to respect his relationship with her dad. Therefore, she was off limits no matter what his feelings were for her. Until she walks into his office 14 years later.

Fallen Angel by Sadie Kincaid is an emotional rollercoaster, blending intense romance with gripping suspense. Sam’s journey with her dangerous love interest reaches new emotional heights, and the stakes have never been higher.
The quote, “I love you, Sam. You are everything to me, and I refuse to spend the rest of my life without you by my side. But I know that I’ve let you down, and so I’m letting you go… for now. But know that you are mine and you always will be,” perfectly captures the heart-wrenching tension between love, possession, and sacrifice. It’s a pivotal moment where love collides with the harsh reality of their lives, creating a bittersweet blend of devotion and separation.
Kincaid’s writing shines in her ability to pull readers into a world where love isn’t simple, and the complexities of trust and redemption are constantly tested. Sam’s relationship with her man is filled with passion, danger, and deep emotional conflict. You feel their connection but also the pain of the obstacles they face.
This book is a powerful continuation of the Dark Angel series, bringing more drama, heartache, and passion. The characters grow, but so do the challenges they must overcome. If you love high-stakes romance with complex characters and a story that keeps you on edge, Fallen Angel is a must-read. Prepare for a whirlwind of emotions as Sam fights for love in a world that threatens to tear them apart.
I'm not really sure why I bothered reading this, when I disliked the first so much. I think because I'm not used to disliking Sadie Kindcaid's books, and was trying to see if stuff eventually gets better. It doesn't. Samantha is still just as horrible and ridiculous in the sequel.
The book starts off with a bunch of drama that is about Gabe sleeping with his ex-wife during a drunken one night stand. He did this while heartbroken because Samantha, in her determination to handle every problem herself, regardless of how stupid her solution is, decided to break up with Gabe and tell him she never loved him (because of drama happening in the last book, when this break up happened). So naturally, Gabe is upset, miserable, etc. And he does a stupid thing because he's so miserable. Was it smart to sleep with his ex-wife? No. But he also slept with Samantha post-break up, which was apparently totally fine even though Samantha was a shitty bitch to him again right after.
And you know who is entitled to ZERO FUCKING OPINIONS on Gabe shagging his ex-wife, because she's the one who broke up with him and caused the entire situation that made him miserable? Samantha. She broke up with him instead of having an adult fucking conversation with him about solutions, made all the decisions that effected them both without bothering to talk to him, and still has the audacity to act like she has any say in what Gabe does after that.
Fuck Samantha. She's a terrible person, and I couldn't enjoy this series because of her.

Fallen Angel is the conclusion in the London Ruthless duet.
This couple had to work hard for their HEA! While I love a strong FMC Sam is so hard headed and stubborn she gets in her own way a lot. Everything is so black and white with both characters that there is a lot of what could be considered miscommunication just because they are so unwilling to listen to reason. Its back and forth with events that lead to this head butting and stubborn refusal to waver that means they are in turmoil a lot of the time. Add in the outside forces that are thrown into their lives to battle and they have to fight for their happy for sure.
The good news is their is a lot of growth and development of both the individuals and their relationship throughout this book. They come together and start to see what love truly means and things become easier.
The plot is well thought out and flows well, There are some lulls where the plot takes a back seat to the relationship stuff but nothing annoying or dull and it all comes together nicely with a sweet ending. The editing and grammar are very good and nothing distracts from the ease of reading.
This book is also available on audio with the same narrators returning to finish up the duet and close out the story in a great performance!
Book 2 - there didn’t need to be a 2nd book. Again with all the sex on every few pages. It make the story not interesting at all. It’s a good book when there is some suspense and action, but boring sex scenes. Too many!
Gabe finds out that Jennifer lied about the baby. Sam again gets upset at Gabe and pushes him away. She has so many issues it’s kind of annoying. She only wants what she wants and doesn’t care what Gabe needs. Her jealousy is really bad, it makes her desperate for Gabe to love her. He has put up with her smart-ass remarks, mood swings, and constant refusal to have a grown up conversation about their future. Not sure why he puts up with her. Gabe gets kidnapped. Jackson’s brother Milton is now in the picture. He wants the family fortune that Jackson left her in is will when he died. We find out that Simon who was hired by Sam to work at her law firm, is Milton’s son. Simon sets Sam up and she is kidnapped and they plan to kill her. Gabe & Sebastian (Sam’s dad) rescue her and get rid of Milton & Simon. Sam has baby Max and 1 year later she gives birth to a baby girl.
