Natalia
If my love life is a tragicomedy, then losing my job is the punchline. Thanks, universe.
Fortunately for me, my brother hires me to work for him–but that entails also working for Anderson, his infuriatingly hot but insufferable business partner.
We’re a collision course in chaos and we’re constantly at odds.
And yet, I find myself strangely drawn to his intensity.
The unspoken tension that hangs between us is like a forbidden fruit, but I refuse to take a bite.

Anderson
Hiring a new marketing manager was never in my plans, especially not her.
My business partner’s soft spot for family dragged her into our workspace, and her talent for getting on my nerves is truly unmatched.
Strangely, she manages to set my heart pounding whenever she’s nearby.
As tensions rise, I find myself teetering on the edge of control, and my attraction to her just fuels my frustration.
It’s a maddening dance we can’t seem to escape; I can’t resist her, even though she drives me to the brink of insanity.

His Enemy is a full-length, enemies-to-lovers, office romance with a grumpy hero and a booklover heroine. There are explicit sexual situations and strong language. There is a HEA.

The Love at Work Series consists of interconnected standalones, all having to do with falling in love at work. They can be read in ANY order!

Yikes- Anderson, the guy, is a man-whore who has sex with a random in the room next door to the FMC Natalia, who works ion the same company, while on a business weekend away. He makes sure Natalia hears it, and she, charming girl, listens through the wall and gets off on it.
Then he whores himself out the next day to save a business deal, blithely telling Natalia and her brother, his business partner, at breakfast the next morning that he slept with the other woman for this express purpose.

Just wondering how we would see that if a woman had done the same thing.
And if we struggled with that, why should we sanction this behaviour in a man? He was gross for 80% of the book. I nearly gave up, but hoped it would get better. Nope. Natalia became just as oversexed as he was, although I guess she didn’t sleep with anyone else after she had met him.

Finished it feeling a bit besmirched- it was tawdry smut, not sexy smut. No actual romance. If you are into that, cool.

After unexpectedly being laid off from her marketing job at a romance publisher imprint, Natalia feels out of luck. But her twin brother, Luca swoops in to save the day by offering her a marketing position at his company, Gather. And what’s more, Natalia’s first order of business with Gather is accompanying Luca on a business trip to Hawaii.

Natalia happens to meet Luca’s business partner, Anderson, on the flight and the two of them couldn’t hate each other more. By the time their plane landed, Natalia & Anderson loathed one another. Every step of the way, the two of them butted heads, but the chemistry between them was more than palpable.

And even though they hate one another, Natalia & Anderson can’t help but act on that attraction. Some things are so bad they’re good & this is definitely one of those cases…

Say You Hate Me by Amanda Richardson is book 4 in the Love at Work series but each book in the series is a true stand-alone. This is enemies to lovers at its best—it’s not some half-assed hate to love romance, which I appreciated. The tension, chemistry & banter between Natalia & Anderson was phenomenal too. The romance fizzled off for me a little at the end, so that’s why I couldn’t rate it higher, but I still really enjoyed this forbidden, sexy romance! 4/5 stars.

Workplace romances are my thing and this was an excellent example. I love the secrecy and the sneaking around in this but there wasn’t really any taboo with it, nobody seemed to care so that was a bit of a waste. Complete story, I’ll be reading more of this author I think.

I’m going through a smutty romance novel phase apparently. This one is about two co-workers that despise each other. It was a fun way to spend my afternoon, and the sex scenes were steamy as heck.

I didn't agree with all the stars that this book got. See I don't like to read a romance book where one of the main characters sleeps with someone else after they meet are or are already in love/hate conflict with the other main character, yeah that turns me off, I mean he even stated that the reason he slept with that person was to make her feel uncomfortable, he knew she would hear him.. yeah no.

Amanda has done it again.

Enemies to lovers is not normally my jam at all, but this book changed my mind. I went from wanting to throttle Anderson to wanting to f....well, you know ;)

I loved every character, and the journey from enemies to hate sex to love was absolutely delicious. I'll be rereading this a lot.

it was good

This was my first book by Amanda Richardson. I don’t think it will be my last but I did have a hard time getting into it. I felt like there was character development but no chemistry.

I will have to try again because I thoroughly hope Kira gets a book!

I have mixed feelings about this book. This is the second of Richardson's books that I've read, after her short story in the Love at Work series. In the beginning I was hooked, I loved the pace, the writing and the characters. I was curious to see how Anderson and Natalia could possibly go to lovers after being introduced as such strong enemies. The middle was a little too slow for me, I often got lost at the marketing jargon that I honestly think could've been left out. Some was helpful to explain Natalia's job but I felt like at some point I was bored and didn't really care about it. I did enjoy the Harry Potter references at first but after awhile the same one got a tad repetitive. In the end it picked up, I'd say in the last 20-25% I was happy to see the twists come about. Overall I enjoyed the main characters but I was also happy to see a lot from the side characters. It was a nice ending where I felt the main character grew but also stayed true to herself.

**FULL REVIEW**

If ever there was a dirty talking businessman/yogi/nerd, we have found it in Swedish Anderson Møllen. *fans self*

Add the fact that he’s already distinguished (in his forties) and Natalia’s brother’s best friend…oh boy.

Now is where I give you the best part—Anderson and Natalia HATE each other.
*nods* Yep, I said it. They hate each other with a fiery passion…and the banter? Whew.

I was glued to the pages—the secrets, the anger, the dirty flirting…she’s a hot mess and he’s…not.

Throw in a little work drama, an accident, finding out you can open your heart and make friends; it’s a perfect recipe for spicy romance!

I will definitely be checking out the rest of the “Love at Work” series (which are all standalone) because I’m a sucker for the mean ones.

July 2021-I could not put this book down. It was really enjoyable. I can say one flaw was it felt rushed at times. The ending felt kind of wrapped up too quick. And I also wish there were more scenes of Anderson and Natalia really getting to know each other. It didn’t feel like they talked much about each other’s lives.

February 2022-I decided to reread this book because it's been on my mind lately. I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Also still really wish there was more progression with Anderson and Natalia's relationship. They are part of the very few book couples that I wish had a more in-depth relationship. I normally only like a 200-300 page romance but with them I wanted it to be longer.

Loved!!!! Such a fun easy read. There are times I can actually feel the emotions from the characters in the novel. This was one of those times.

The hate between Natalia and Anderson was so strong, but you could feel the attraction between the two. You just can’t help but root in your head to see them together.

Natalia let go from her job goes to work for her twin brother, but has no idea that her brother has a business partner. They meeting is less than ideal, and extremely entertaining.

Anderson and Natalia have to navigate being able to be in the same room with one another, and that is just the start.

Once you start this read you won’t want to put it down.

This was my first book by Amanda Richardson, and it certainly won't be my last! I read it as part of a book club read as I love all 3 tropes of this story (age gap, enemies to lovers, workplace romance), and it certainly delivered!
I loved the banter, sass, and push pull of the main characters. And the sexy times were 🔥🥵🔥!
I enjoyed Amanda's writing so much that I bought the next book as soon as I read the excerpt at the end of this one too.
Loved it ♥️

This is the first book I've read by the author. This is definitely a light, fun and hysterical read that got me laughing so much. Natalia and Anderson have off-the-charts chemistry and witty banter. Even though Anderson was a jerk at first, he redeemed himself in the end. This is a well-written story. Definitely not my last book by the author.

♥️Love-Hate♥️

Talk about the love-hate relationship between Anderson and Natalia. My goodness. But when they finally gave in to their feelings, wow, talk about hot. 🔥

This is my first Amanda Richardson book, and it won't be my last. If you like a good office romance, enemies-to-lovers, brother's best friend, check out Say You Hate Me.

I know it's pretty common in this genre to make the H into somewhat of a d!ck so that he can "change" throughout the book. But often, the author makes him into such an a$$hole, that I don't want to see him get a happy ending. This is one of those books.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Previously titled as 'Say You Hate Me'
Devoured in 1 sitting, up until 5am reading.
So many hot, risky scenes. Iconic/memorable locations and activities.

"I hate Anderson Møllen with the passion of a thousand fiery suns." (Love this reference!)
Fiery Italian Natalia won't stand for the arrogance of her new half boss Anderson. The moment they met on the plane he was full of condescension and judgemental statements. If Natalia wants to have a couple of drinks on her flight over to Hawaii for her new job/minication then who is he to judge? It's not her fault she ended up wearing more than she drank.
It's fine though since she'll have time to change and freshen up when she lands. At least she would have if she hadn't left her suitcase on the side of the taxi rank.
It's all Andersons fault. If he hadn't been so rude and disarming, she'd have had her head on straight and be as calm and collected as she usually is.

Anderson is completely exasperated by this woman who he's forced to sit next to on the plane. She drinks during the day, is opinionated and not afraid to say so and is the most vexing woman he's ever met. Thank god he'll never have to see her again once they land.

Fate has other plans when it's revealed Natalia isn't just their new employee, but the twin sister of his business partner. Natalia is a disaster waiting to happen, sticking her nose in where it doesn't belong and ruining mutliple business opportunities for a merger, taking the company to a whole new level.
Sister or not, Anderson has worked too hard getting Gather to where it is today for anything to go wrong now, and he won't let a noisy Italian woman tell him otherwise.

When the two stubborn, passionate personas butt heads, sparks fly and turns into a fiery passion neither can deny.

Knock off Draco and Hermione

TW: Gr!ef, loss, PT$D, cheating(in the past), animal de@th

This was good. As I’ve read her other books before this older one I expected it to be more like those but this was definitely lighter which isn’t a bad thing at all!
I did love all the Harry Potter references, they made me laugh
Our FMC is loud, fun, and emotionally closed off and our MMC is quiet, rude, and emotionally d*mb at times
Natalia and Anderson hated each other when they met and rile each other up the entire time they are forced on this work trip together then they get back and try to be friendly…
It felt a little like a switch was flipped for Anderson with little to no explanation given which was odd. Like I can make a guess but it seemed too quick in some ways.
Natalia was a lot slower to warm up and to me that was more realistic.
Also I loved that her job was publishing romance books 10/10

Harry Potter’s Hermione and Draco

Natalia feels like if she didn’t have bad luck, she wouldn’t have any luck at all and her temper is of the typical Italian style - Hot! She lost her job and ran over her date’s cat, now she has to find a new job and the world is just dumping on her in every direction.

Anderson can’t imagine why he has to endure this woman sitting beside him on the plane. She is obviously unstable and drinking alcohol! The. As the flight attendant mentions the woman’s name he comes to the realization that she is he business partner’s sister.

Can this possibly get any worse? Yes it can. Now his temper flairs and they hate each other before they have even been introduced!

This book is quite entertaining! Enjoy the read!

Great little find

So I'm a complete newbie to this author and I picked this little gem when it was offers as a rec to someone else in a social page I follow and I'm so glad I did!

I usuallyread dark this isn't dark BUT it has enough pull, steam and age gap to keep me turning the pages! I loved the characters and the inner thoughts of Natalia out fmc and the fact she read a smut was a bonus!

3.5⭐️

I liked how this book was dual POV so I could also understand Anderson's POV. The spice and chemistry were good. The banter had its moments. However, I don't feel like the FMC and MMC had a romantic connection until the very end. Also, some of the actions these characters did felt childish or annoyed me. I think something with this book didn't really click with me. It had good moments, but it wasn't enough for me.

The moment during the office team building excursion?? Yes!!

Desiring each other and hating it, our FMC and MMC did everything they could to get under the skin of the other. To frustrate them in anyway possible. And I enjoyed watching them crumble under their own desires until neither could deny it any longer.

Was desperate for a little more drama, but a girl can definitely survive on zoom meeting shenanigans instead ;)

Alright read

This was an alright read. Some characters needed more. I didn't feel any spark with lead couple. More spark with the secondary characters
