Not every romance begins with flowers, romance and all the things you see and read about. Didn’t Know What I was Getting Into
I didn’t know this was a series when I started 😅. I have a lot of questions because this was busy story. Everybody has secrets that they’re holding close to their chest, while swearing that they’re the realest.
Who knew being held hostage would be the catalyst for Harbor to really start living. Everybody needs therapy, Knowledge, Frequency, his daughter, everybody! I’m low key rooting for Frequency to get it together and see the good thing standing in front of him but he has A LOT going on. Moving on to part two.

I was so mad that Harbor had been abducted and held hostage for a whole damn year. I shocked myself when I was hoping that something developed between her and Frequency and then it happened. Now I’m just curious to know what happened to her mom and what he had to do with it.
I don’t like Lock and don’t know why he’s still looking for Harbor when he has Alba. I already assumed something was going on with them just from the party they attended together.
I just want Frequency to confess his true feelings for Harbor and for them to live happily ever after.
This is my first read from this author, it was recommended in one of the reading groups I’m in and I’m so glad I decided to read it. If you haven’t read please do, you will not be disappointed.

OMG I Loved It!!
Once again S.L. Partee has given us a reason to love her more! The book grabs your attention from page1. Frequency's demeanor pulled at my heartstrings. You wanted to know what/why he was hurting. Knowledge must irked my soul! He really irritated me, I can't understand his dislike for Harbor when he really don't know her. Then poor Harbor just needed real f'ing people in her life. How does everybody betray her like that? Lock, Harmonie, Alba and even her Dad needs to be put in front of an 18-wheeler while it's going full speed!! She has too many snakes around her. I just need part2 so I can see what Frequency did to her mama and the reason why he did it!!!

WOW is all I can say!!!!
I feel so sorry for Harbor, her dad treated her differently than her older sister, then her man flirting too close in her face with a "friend", to top it all off she gets kidnapped! Lawd baby!!! I knew something was up with Alda and Loch from the beginning. Frequency, I know you've been hurt, but you know you are falling for Harbor just like she's falling for you. After she called her dad, he treated her like trash, I'm so mad with him for that. Knowledge is on some other stuff, and I believe he and Frequency are going to bump head real hard in book 2. Kap and Celine, I think it's something going on with them. CAN'T WAIT FOR PART 2!

I need to know!!!!
Omg nooooooo I need to know what going to happen? I knew Frequency and Haprer would eventually not be able to handle all the tension in the air. And act on their emotions, however ledge is giving me weird vibes liek he jealous or some shit. And Frequency might just have to do something to him. Frequency dad comes off as abusive and demanding and seems like he is going to be a problem. I can't believe Harper family was just so eager to write her off a a joke and not even try to understand what was going on.. I hope Harper can handle whatever is about to come her way.

Wow!! Everybody got issues
I have so many thoughts on Frequency & Harbor. Both have so many issues and need healing in the worst way. Harbor needs her father's love and he's too bitter to see it. How do you treat your daughter like that after not hearing from her in a whole year? There's just so much to uncover with everybody. Off top, I don't trust knowledge and he's going to be a problem. I can't wait to find out what happened to Harbor's mother and what happened with Kut & Celine. Another good series.

Loved it
Part 2 me nowww please I loved this book. I was really hoping that Harbor and Frequency could have been a great couple though. I loved them together. I couldn’t believe that Knowledge went behind his back and went to his father though that’s not what friends are supposed to do though. I wonder what did they do to her mother though. I didn’t think that she was listening to the conversation though.
Part 2 me nowww please I loved this book. I was really hoping that Harbor and Frequency could have been a great couple though. I loved them together. I couldn’t believe that Knowledge went behind his back and went to his father though that’s not what friends are supposed to do though. I wonder what did they do to her mother though. Celine slept with the daddy that’s why she understands, and Frequency is crazy I don’t understand him. 3.5 This book is my first read by this author and I found this book from one of favorite booktokers page. I know this book is apart of a series and I look forward to reading the other book in this series. Harbor family was trash for giving up on her after she disappear. I feel like this pace of the book had me making sure I know who is who in this book. Overall this book is good and the ending had me questioning everything in this book.

Like wow
Ok I was intrigued at the very beginning. So many secrets!! What happened to Halo? What happened to Ivy’s mom?? What has Harbor’s dad done in his past?? Did Frequency hurt Halo?? The list goes on!! Lock is questionable as well!!! I feel so bad for Harbor hopefully she bosses up on all their butts in book 2!!!

Ok so boom..there’s a part 2. I wish I would’ve known before I started reading 😭. I’m rooting so hard for Harbor! Honestly I dislike all the characters except for Harbor. Babygirl just keeps getting the short end of the stick. I’m so intrigued by the mystery of it all. There’s so many unanswered questions. This story definitely takes you on so,e twists and turns.

Im so happy with my decision to try this book. Quency and Harbor met in the most unconventional way but their journey towards getting to know each other is nothing short of amazing. The secrets, the lies, the snakes and betrayal all made this book a 5 star. Can’t wait to read part 2

In love with Captor
Boy Frequency is really messed up, but then Harbor's sister and father are too. Lock is the only one that truly worried but her being going for a year without an exclamation. And he ain't much because he us sleeping with sister and her so call friend. Great series so far.

This was my introduction to SL Partee and I regret nothing! Harbor Lawson is complicated, smart and beautiful. She's floating thru life not knowing what her purpose is...then Frequency happens and they way they come together? Sparks. The chemistry leaps off the page. 10/10!

Lock Is Trash! SMHI knew about him and Alba but his excuse for Harmonie 👎🏽 Ledge has enough to deal with in his own life to be so concerned with Harbor & Free. Can’t wait to see how Harold, Halo...Free daddy Kut and Celine all tie into together in book 2.

This book was so good I just knew harbor was going to get a happy ending frequency I just knew he was to good to be true. Harbor fell for the enemy. Knowledge can't be trusted and soon Frequency will find that out. Lock may love Harbor but he has done the ultimate betrayal. Hurry up part 2

A MUST READ!!!
I loved this book. It was so good. I love Harbor's character and hope she can be happy. I'm not liking Knowledge right now. This is most definitely a must read. I can't wait to read part 2...That ending left me in WOW!!
