Reed: Men and Country is a quick novella in the Carter Hills Band series. It is the first book (novella) I have read of this author and I absolutely loved it.
It's about Reed who claims to never fall in lover after he saw his parents marriage fall apart in front of him. He lives a happy, care free life and has casual friends with benefits type of sex with Gabriella.
He is also a family man and adores his younger brother, the wife of his brother and their twins. One night he is going out and suddenly spots a gorgeous woman named Saunders. She grabs his wine and throws it in someone's face. And Reed, he just instantly and desperately falls in love with her!
I absolutely loved this short story. A part of me hoped it was longer and more detailed. But I knew it was a novella before I read it, and it was just bloody perfect!
Thank you so much Emmanuella Snow for sharing this story with me! I cannot wait to dive in book number 1 in this series. It feels like it's gonna be utterly addictive!

Omw i love these novellas and bonus chapters because I get to know Saund and Reed better.
At first i was wondering why the author had a book alone for Reed but now I know and I am sooo happy to get more into each characters lives

This is book 0•5 in The Pink and Country Series and it is Reed's story. Reed owns Blue Ozone Spa and didn't have time or want a relationships or commitment especially after seeing what his parents went through that ended in divorce and what they put Reed and his brother through put Reed off of ever wanting it and he has no intention of ever changing his mind. Reed was always so busy with his company and didn't have time for anything else other than his brother, his brothers wife and there children and the occasional book up and that was enough for him. Will there come a time when one woman will break down all the walls that surround Reed's heart only time will tell. I absolutely loved reading this book as it was so well written and I couldn't put it down and I definitely look forward to reading more books in this series.

I loved this book. The story, the characters, and the setting. I LOVED everything.
I loved the chemistry and the banters. Just the idea of Reed caring for the twins got me smiling like a fool.
I can’t wait to read the other books in this series. From what I’ve read so far it is promising. Love to discover new authors who have a talent for writing appealing and exciting books.
It’s a well earned 5 stars.
The only con was that I wished it would have been a complete novel because I wanted more.
And the bonus scene is one you don’t want to miss.
I was lucky enough to get the extra bonus scene when I bought it and it’s one you don’t want to miss either. It’s funny and it’s Reed and Saunders the way we get to know and love them at their best.

This is a short story about Reed and how he doesn’t believe in love or a relationships, he likes his single life with no commitment
But he falls in love at first sight when a coincidence brings them together so he throws away his previous beliefs and starts doing the opposite of it
There is a full story of their relationship (second book in the series) and I would definitely read it

I really don’t understand why there’s not a one star rating on this. On the plus side I didn’t see any ‘grammar’ errors. Story just wasn’t for me.

I loved this short novella that introduces us to Reed. The characters were amazing, relatable, sexy and funny. I enjoyed every second of this story and can’t wait to dive into more of this series.

This was the first book I read by Emmanuelle and as I have another one to read , I just wanted to dive into her world.
I’m so glad I did.
This is a really short novella (part of a series, but can be read as standalone), and that’s the main reason I gave 3.5 ⭐️. I just wanted more.
It might sound selfish, so I’m going to apologise now. ☺️
Reed aka Mr Single-for-life has never been in love and isn’t even planning to be. He is a typical player. All he cares about is his business, and a bit of fun when he needs to release stress … 😉
Until he finds the female version of himself. Saunders enters his life like a tornado.
She doesn’t want a serious relationship either, and that’s exactly what he promises to her. But what if Reed’s heart is not as cold as he thinks?!
I absolutely loved the story and it was beautifully written❣️I can’t wait to read more of Emmanuelle’s books 💞
