That Girl is a coming of age romantic comedy about a struggling songwriter who's hoping to make it in the music industry while fumbling her way through turning thirty and falling in love for the first time. At twenty-nine she’s nowhere closer to who she wants to be. She spends her days miserable doing body makeup on a low budget telenovella and her nights drinking jack and cokes hoping for her big break with up and coming artists. She finally gets her big break when she writes a song with sexy Nashville songwriter, Ezra. Her friend Ryan, a major music manager, is worried that Ezra might be leading her on romantically and professionally. Ryan, having always wanted a second chance romantically with her finally tells her how he feels after Ezra ghosts her. Still secretly holding out hope for Ezra she hesitantly begins to date Ryan. Love starts to grow between them and her career begins to take off as Ryan helps her write with some major artists. She suddenly finds out that Ezra has stolen their song and sold it as his own to a major country singer. She fights to not only win her song back but to love herself through the up’s and down’s of falling in love, making it and finding herself through it all.
