Reaper's Rival Book 2

After the events of the first book. Abby has joined her half sister gang. Can Reaper claim her heart back?
You have to lose yourself to really find yourself. You have to crawl through the dark times to understand and crave the light. And sometimes you need to lose the man you love to realize that what you had in the first place was in fact love. We had a history between us. But more importantly we had love between us and time doesn't affect love or at least I hope it won't affect our love. Right now I don't belong anywhere. But I know that no matter what happens or where I am. My heart will always belong to him.
"This life gives you regrets on a silver platter. This life makes you colder and there is a coldness in you now Abby and I don't like seeing it. It is what I was trying to protect you from. You always had an innocent heart. But something got inside and messed with it and I don't like it. You can come back from this, let me take all the bad from you, so you can go back to being you." Being together might be dangerous but outlaws are meant to break the rules. Book 2 of the Reaper Series

This...

Is worse than a Days of Our Lives mid day marathon but yet here I am reading it. How this is 4.5 stars is seriously so beyond me. And some how I still can't stop reading it. The editing is awful, the ARC people really let her down. I know it's Australia but MC life can't be that different so half of this doesn't even follow MC 1% life and the other just doesn't even follow. POVs get mixed up, grammar which I am not hard on is like one of my middle school students wrote it and it's so repetitive and all over the place at the same time I cried.

FMC is dumb. Thats all there is to it. She isn't written with an ounce of thought. She isn't even remotely believable as a character.
Reaper is like halfway believable but nothing redeemable. He is believable as a man but definitely not as an MC president nor as VP for that matter.

My mind is still blown at the stars this has ha and I read some pretty just plan smut with no story line crap and this takes the topper.

Difficult to read, in dire need of editing

I read the first book which led me to Reaper’s Rival (book 2). The story and the characters had potential. However, this one had SO MANY grammatical and spelling errors, I stopped reading midway though the book. Disappointing. I would strongly suggest hiring an editor. Heck, ask an English teacher to do it and give them some cash. Most of us are underpaid and would be happy to help out ;)

The first book started off okay enough to have me vested in reading the second. The grammatical errors in book 2 are horrible, and the storylines all over the place, with plots left on loose ends. Reaper cheating, not once, but twice!! The second time she barely acknowledged it, Really??!! And Abby has been just as bad, her decision making is immature beyond belief. I swore I would not read another chapter. And yet, here I am in book 3 ( I am clearly a glutton for punishment) and again the story is all over the place and the grammatical errors seem to be getting worse. Calm down was clam down and I keep finding myself having to reread sentences to make sense of what was really meant to be written. I have read so many fantastic MC series and this MC seems to be focused on these trouble making twins. What about their business dealings? Reaper's position in and out of the club just flips back and forth, there is no real structure in this ruthless MC. At this point I am not sure how they even have a club and haven't been taken over. Is this story meant to be an MC read, or an angsty love story?? This is my first time reading this author and I am pretty sure it will be my last. Please Simone, find someone to proofread your next book.

This Was Tense!😳💥
Reaper's Rival: Satan's Sons MC, Book 2

I felt this plot had a lot fewer holes in than book 1, thankfully.😉 The author or her arc team needs to go back through it for all of the spelling errors, though.🙏🏼 I don't mark down for that, as it can be hard for indie authors, especially if they haven't built up a reliable arc team yet that should help catch these errors.

Apart from the relationship drama and what I felt was Reaper acting very out of character with his new charter, this had a good, consistent flowing storyline. You could see the writing improvement from book 1.👏

I cried during this book. Abby and Reaper have a huge loss that is deeply affecting, emotionally, on the page. The funeral was so impactful. 😭💔

The ending of this book and the tension, then happiness, leading up to it, was really well written. I look forward to book 3, and I hope to see continued improvement.🙏🏼👏

I didn’t finish. I couldn’t do it to myself again. I don’t normally quit a book, but this is idiot talk. Mindless, mind numbing, make me angry just reading the thoughts, bad decisions sheer idiocy of the main characters. Particularly the female lead. She’s so wishy washy. Can’t make a decision and stand by it- or picks the worst possible course of action while patting herself on the on the back for it.
Do dumb people bother you? Do you believe there is such a thing as a dumb question? Trigger warning lol.
If on the other hand you love stupid. Like you live and breathe for stupid married to ratchet editing- this the one friend. Hers your masterpiece - these characters will make you feel like the genius in the mix. Below deck meets jersey shore and has a g*ng b*ng with teen mom -but on motorcycles.

I listened to the series on audiobook on the Galatea app so the editing/grammatical issues were not noticable, occasionally there would be an incorrect word but that’s about it. I felt like just like in parts of book one the periods of Reaper and Abby spending times together were so very brief and didn’t offer much conversation and the times that they were apart and stewing were stretched out. I wish it showed more of the development of their relationship because how can you truly know someone when you spend a few hours with them once every few months or years? Apart from that though this book was decent to listen to, it had a bit more suspense to it in places, especially when it comes to hellbound, I just wish it gave more details, or like “a day in the life” sections to really understand more than just the subconscious thoughts of the characters.

Again the writing is painful. The grammatical errors, missing punctuation, plot holes. Ugh! The pregnant FMC is seen taking shots, acknowledging it’s alcohol, then says it’s orange juice, then mentions how unsteady on her feet she is from drinking. Mentions quitting smoking once she learns she is pregnant again but is then seen smoking multiple times. CW: stillbirth. The stillbirth is basically glanced over and then she’s pregnant again. Yes, they have a funeral but they never acknowledge the FMC/MMC’s emotions or feeling around the situation after the initial “I don’t blame you” discussion. I love the premise and the characters, I just think if the writing was edited/ developed more the story would be 100x better!

holy cow!

She is blackmailed into being a hit man for a gang to keep her dad out of prisons for killing somebody in the gang in order to get her out. Head of gang is in prison and said he’d send her dad to prison and kill him if she didn’t do the hits. She does them and then births a stillborn. He is then head of his own MC who happens to kill another chapters wife. The guy puts a hit on Abby. Abby is now pregnant, they get married and the next day Kade leaves to kill the husband. Kade comes home the day before she goes into labor. Bad guy unfounded. She has baby and is kidnapped on the way home from hospital. 🤯 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Intense! Mild Spoiler Alert!

You finally think they've finally reached their happily ever after, only to realize you're not even halfway through the book! Reaper and Abby face the loss of a child. What he did with the club girls upset me! I'm not sure I could have taken him back the way Abby did. Reaper leaves and comes back with a target on her head, then leaves her again to find the enemy just when they find out she's expecting another baby...
The ending is another major cliffhanger!!!!

Wow again

Ok for a series that will fade to black sometimes this series is unbelievable amazing. Abby and Reapers journey along with their family is a rollercoaster with unconditional love, heart break, loss, and strong willed woman and alpha males.

That being said here is a spoiler because some people cannot read about miscarriage it does contain it and as much as I wish it didn't it makes the characters and their responses more human.

OMG

I couldn't put the first book down and let me tell you I can't put any of them down. It is none stop action, I laughed , cried , and got so mad . yes bad boys can be bad but when they love someone they will only show it to their partner most the time. ( yea I have first hand knowledge of this maybe not a biker bad boy but a bad boy) So take this series for a ride you won't regret it.

I read the first book which brought me to the second and though I’ll finish the series since it ended on another cliffhanger, the grammatical errors were frustrating. Not to mention point of views such as Trigger’s that didn’t seem to make much sense of being in the book. Also, Reaper cheating on Abby is such crap and how she only threatened Kaylee when it should’ve been much more. I will say though that the plot keeps you guessing of what’s coming next.

Reapers rival

Feels like forever I started reading reapers rival the story of Daniels pretending to be Abbeys boyfriend. I couldn't believe all the towing and froing of the will they won't they get it together. Then the heartbreaking story of little Matthew. Then love wins overall. But they still can't get their happily ever after.

Breath holding, omg moments. Quite a few spelling mistakes but he lives to short😁

Wow

Loved book 1 and then book 2 was even better. A few obvious grammar errors. But the story and plot was fantastic and totally kept me reading non stop. This couple seem so real with the constant push pull love spats that they constantly have. Both are strong willed. Her dad didn't show his love for his daughter openly, but it became more obvious as the book went on. Big cliff hanger!

Love these books! Love Simone Elise!
Simone has this way of writing and you just help but being dragged in!
Characters are absolutely fantastic! I feel like I’m there with them, living their events! Hurting when they hurt, happy when they’re happy! Reaper and Abby have always been some of my absolute favorite characters and I’m happy to be reading them again!

Great story

The stories from simone elise always keep you in your toes, and this book is no different. The roller coaster the main characters are on throughout the book keeps your blood pumping and making sure you don't put the book down until the final page. Can not wait to see what happens in the next book

So MUCH DRAMA

The first books had potential, but now its just dragging. The main character Abby is so immature and irritating. She is such a spoiled brat that keeps causing problems for the club. She is so indecisive. I started skipping the books and just read the ending. And Reaper is so weak letting his "women" walk all over him and the club.

Emotional roller coaster!!

This is the second book in this fascinating series and Reaper and Abby's journey continues. This is a well written story which has engaging characters, suspense, danger, intrigue, twists, angst, heartbreak, and love which all leads to a riveting page turner. I look forward to reading the next book in this phenomenal series.

Frustrating

Sometimes it's hard to understand what's going on with these books because of all the spelling errors etc in them. There's 5 books in this series but I can't find book 4. Can't read 5 without 4. May as well get other books to read and leave these alone. 3 stars are all these are worth.

Wow

Never thought she would be so blah after being with Reaper for good. Where did the bada*s go? She does go through a lot. Her son.. So sad. But they do get married but heck idk if I would of married his butt. He was gone for 7 months and she was pregnant again. He literally left the dad after the wedding. And that ending?! Oh lord.

The storyline is great! Still very back and forth and a little all over the place but I love the story. Another Cliff hanger to keep me hooked to the third book!
I love how fierce Abby is and how I afraid she is to protect herself when need be, her confidence and drive is incredible to read about!

Good story-bad editing

I loved this book I love the story between Abby and Kade, but the editing is awful. There are spelling mistakes and grammar errors littered throughout the book, which makes it hard to read.

That aside though, I did enjoy it and can’t wait for book 3

Story continues for Reaper and Abby. It’s more of the same. Feels a bit drawn out and sane as before, she runs off, does stupid stuff, he comes. One of them gets hurt, back together and within a couple of pages, he’s annoyed her and run back off or wants to

❤️❤️.

Reaper and Abby are two crazies. They loved each other so hard that they screw it up most of the time. But other drama that surrounds them would be enough for me to call it all quits. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Book 2

Epic read from the beginning. From pregnancy to a loss to finding strength with the fact of losing a child and how it ended working out for reaper and Abby. Downloaded it last night and finish it tonight. Couldn't put it down.
